Bummed with the service. I'm sick and they forgot the chicken noodle soup, my husband waited and hour and then had to go back as they only put one soup in the bag not two. I asked due to the inconvenience of us having to drive back and wait again.... literally for chicken noodle soup, and they said they couldn't do anything as it's just one person working the whole restaurant. Save yourself from waiting in long lines and getting messed up orders. It would have been nice if they apologized and gave us a little something for our inconvenience but they did not. :/ read more

I ordered a takeout order and waited for 25 min. A man came in and ordered a takeout while I was waiting and got his food before me. I ordered eggs and a bowl of soup. I'd give them minus stars if I could. Did a takeout order through Grubhub and my order was completely wrong. I ordered a drink and 2 coney islands. There was no drink and 2 plain hotdogs. When I called to tell them about it, there was no apology for the bad service. I was told to call Grubhub and they would refund my money. When I told them it was their responsibility to make sure the order was correct, she hung up on me. We are done with Leos. The order before this one the food was terrible. We are done. read more

Service is a joke. Waitress is totally disrespectful. The food is never how I order it The bathroom is disgusting. My shoes were sticking to the floor. It smells horrific it's wet everywhere on the counter and backsplash. The front door doesn't look like it's been wiped down ever. In this day of serious flu and Covid and transmitting viruses you would think they would wipe down the handle and the glass once in a while. I had to send my fries back. The atmosphere is very unwelcoming and cold. Our waiter didn't make our experience any better. She was very rude and treated us like we shouldn't be here. She brought us out stained straws and stained cups. When I asked for clean straws, she became very rude and raised her voice, and walked off. I'm torn between 2 & 3 stars. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. This Leo's is in a shopping center that was once thriving but is now virtually dead. I was there around 1:15 on a Sunday afternoon and there were a lot of people in the restaurant; in fact, I'd hazard a guess that all the cars in the parking lot were for the restaurant, as it doesn't seem that anything else is open anymore. I'd originally planned to get either a salad or a coney combo, but the salmon burger caught my eye. I asked the server if it was fried, as I didn't want fried fish. She said that it wasn't fried in the fryer, but I made the mistake of thinking that it was just a piece of pan fried salmon; I hadn't counted on it being breaded. It came on a large bun that looked grilled but felt cold, along with a pickle, lettuce and tomato. No dressing of any kind came with or on it. It tasted ok but wasn't anything special. I also ordered a mini tossed salad. That was disappointing. Some of the lettuce was brown and the couple pieces of tomato were under ripe. There were a couple of slices of cucumber on it and that was it. For $2.99, which is a lot for that size salad. I did notice, however, that this particular restaurant had a special menu with some things that aren't offered at other locations. There are many other Leo's Coney Islands that are not too far away. We had been going to Leo's for years but tonight things had changed. My husband ordered his usual meatloaf which came with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Tonight, the serving of vegetables would have fit in a teaspoon. The waitress said that's the serving size now. Then he asked for more gravy. She said he would have to pay extra. The meatloaf was also noticeably smaller. She said that the owner was clamping down on things to save money. I ordered my favorite omelet which was half the size now. I had asked for my customary box to take half of the omelet home. I had to leave the box on the table. Nothing to take home this time. Leo's is scrimping on gravy and cutting portions. How much does a teaspoon of gravy cost? The prices are the same. Sorry, but I'm not going back there. read more

I ordered 2 chk Greek salads to go. Very simple. We get home and it's a plain Greek, no chk. When I cd they said "well you didn't pay for the chicken, so it's all good don't worry about it. "I told them it wasn't about the money, they got our order wrong. We didn't get what we ordered. Consistently bad dining experience. Waitresses are rude, won't look at you while ordering, and practically throw food at the table. The last time I was here, our waitress spilled our food all over the table, and didn't even apologize, clean it, or offer replacements. When she brought the checks later and saw the mess - that SHE made - she said "Ew, lots of mess huh?" to our table. Will NOT be going back to this location. I've been to this Leo's location twice- it's a little hidden from the road as the strip mall it's in is set back a bit from Haggerty. First time was great, your standard Leo's fare. The second time was S L O W. I sat and waited for several minutes before one young lady clearing a table told the other she had a table and she had walked nearby a few times. Even though I had made eye contact, it took them a bit to get to me and they weren't busy. Once she finally wandered over, the service was fast and friendly. I love Leo's salads and their soups. It might have just been an off day. There are several locations in my area between work and home so there are plenty of options nearby. read more

We order from here all the time( 2 min from house) on a Monday and Wed I ordered a carry out..both times got wrong items..I didn't call to complain as mistakes happen..that same week I ordered a medium greek salad w chicken to bring to friends house where we all planned on eating that..opened it up and sure enough it was literally just lettuce! Yes, my husband should of checked b4 leaving..he didn't..I immediately called and was told they would write my name down and I could come and get my correct salad.. So today I went and ate and placed a carry out of my salad..they said no one wrote my name down..they supposedly called a manager and I was basically shit out of luck! Gotta say this place is your typical Leo's but food is always hot and good and service is always prompt and considerate. Even at 9 pm for a late weekday bite, the service is on it and they aren't angry that you came in an hour before they close. Had a long day of errands so wanted to eat, rather cheaply and quickly. Leo's is on my way home so popped in for a bite. Lemon rice soup is always my go to; usually it's always the same but this time it was a little salty. Ate it anyways but definitely saltier than normal. Also had the grilled chicken kabob dinner, which was awesome. Large portion of two kabobs, rice, and a side Greek. Had to take it home but it was really good! Service could have come around a little bit more, considering there were only two groups in the place. Ran out of water so didn't have anything to drink for the remainder of my dinner. Other than that, I'll return any time I need a quick and good meal or a refuel after hitting the gym next door. read more

Hi, I just want to say usually we love Leo's. Our family goes there alot. We ordered some food, and I was just not happy with my taco salad. I had nothing to put on it, no ranch, no salsa or anything. It was very bland. That taco salad was made with no effort. Plus my mom didn't get the slivered onions she wanted on her chef salad. I first reviewed this place about 6 years ago and only gave it 3 stars. I live right around the corner and come here quite frequently. I have to say the service and food have gotten much better and I really enjoy coming here. The staff are very friendly and even say hello to me now when I say hello to them. The restaurant is usually clean and the food comes out fast and is hot. Feel much better giving them 5 stars now. Keep up the good work. read more

The food here is good, not the best, but good. Their burger selection is good but you definitely will need, if you like it, mayonnaise on them, which you have to ask for. I am a big fan of chili cheese fries. Now the last time I was at this joint I ordered a burger and chili cheese fries. I was unimpressed with the amount of fries I received, so I advise ordering them separately. The coneys here aren't bad and their breakfast specials are reasonable in price. This is by far the best Leo's I've been to. I've been to a bunch of Leo's and this had the best tomatoes I've ever had. Usually, the tomatoes on the chicken fingers salad are soggy and gross. Here they were crispy delicious and fresh. Another perk, for me at least, was that there were murals of beautiful sites not only in Greece but in Lebanon as well. It was really nice to see murals other than the Parthenon and what the other Leo's usually have. They even had a 15% off for Ladies on Wednesdays. I definitely approve. read more

RAW CHICKEN WINGS . When I got the Wings they were nasty looking. They were very very dark and didnt look right. I could tell that the grease in the fryer wasnt changed at all and the grease was sprobably smoking causent it hadnt been changed in awhile. Thats why there was grease all over the plate. I tryed to ignore this also. As I'm eating the wings one of them was RAW and not cooked. I tryed to bite into it and it wouldn't come of the bone as I inspected more, you could see it wasnt cooked. I showed this to Justine and I asked her if she would eat this chicken wing and again she had a confused look on her face. I then told her it was raw, and she said do you want me to take this off the bill!!! Anybody with common sense would have the wings taken off the bill, especially when your serving RAW FOOD!!! She told me that the usually cook the chicken frozen and thats why it came out raw!!! What does it matter how they cooked it when it came out raw!!! 80 percent of the food comes in frozen, doesnt mean you serve it raw!!! Coney islands are awesome because it is pretty cheap food, usually fast, and perfect for hangover cures because its greasy (depending on what you get). This one we went into today was less than impressive. Less than ok for that matter. Two stars. Reasons. Well for one, the place was empty. Granted it was a Tuesday at 4pm, but it was empty. There was 3 of us, plus my 2 kids. So 5 total. We ordered our food and while our server was sweet and tried hard, the food took way too long for a Coney Island. And when it finally came out, it was 2/5 stars. Ive had really good coney islands, and ive had really bad. Luckily this wasnt terrible, it just wasnt very good. However, still perfect for a hangover cure. read more

Ok then mumbles something from the back. Turns out they didn't want to make my order because I ordered it through DoorDash pickup. This location is very good in almost all areas. The food is fresh no matter what you order. I have had most everything on the menu at one time or another and never an issue. I do go for the Coney's most times I must admit. They are very good. I would order the normal Coney over the all beef one though. The all beef one has an after taste it seems and a texture that does not agree with me. The staff members are quick and accurate with orders. They are friendly and helpful. One thing we noticed on our last time out was "little girl" chatter. Mostly gossip about boys and money but we are there to eat, not have to hear about your teenage life. The desserts could use a lot of work as a side note. Overall, go to this restaurant. The food is great, the staff is courteous and the value cannot be disputed. If you love Coney's, this is your local place. read more
