Salmon burger is much smaller than the bun and definitely breaded & fried
    Jody K.

I'm torn between 2 & 3 stars. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. This Leo's is in a shopping center that was once thriving but is now virtually dead. I was there around 1:15 on a Sunday afternoon and there were a lot of people in the restaurant; in fact, I'd hazard a guess that all the cars in the parking lot were for the restaurant, as it doesn't seem that anything else is open anymore. I'd originally planned to get either a salad or a coney combo, but the salmon burger caught my eye. I asked the server if it was fried, as I didn't want fried fish. She said that it wasn't fried in the fryer, but I made the mistake of thinking that it was just a piece of pan fried salmon; I hadn't counted on it being breaded. It came on a large bun that looked grilled but felt cold, along with a pickle, lettuce and tomato. No dressing of any kind came with or on it. It tasted ok but wasn't anything special. I also ordered a mini tossed salad. That was disappointing. Some of the lettuce was brown and the couple pieces of tomato were under ripe. There were a couple of slices of cucumber on it and that was it. For $2.99, which is a lot for that size salad. I did notice, however, that this particular restaurant had a special menu with some things that aren't offered at other locations. There are many other Leo's Coney Islands that are not too far away. Those would be better choices.

Cold chili cheese fries.(wheees the cheese?) Overcooked, stale ground beef coney special.

It's what you expect from a coney island. Classic food and quiet atmosphere. Perfect for a quick bite without the hustle and bustle.

Gyro was good. Rice and red sauce sucked. Greek salad had a non-pitted olive that I almost cracked my tooth on. Bleh - go somewhere else.

They allowed me to taste flavors before buying and they were friendly. I got a large gelato in waffle bowl to share with my daughter. We got three flavors in it. A coffee one, a cookie butter one, and a banana flavor. It was enjoyable and flavorful. That said, it tasted far more like ice cream than gelato. It was pretty pricey as well. My best experience with gelato was in Rome. No surprise. But I've also had a close second in both Aventura Florida and Puerto Rico at a place called Anita's. This wasn't even close to that experience (which is probably a good thing for my wallet and waist). But I did like Frozone and would come back. Great service. I can tell they take pride in what they do.

The owner who was working behind the counter is sooo friendly and very gracious in letting you have multiple free tasting while trying to decide which Gelato to get. Very difficult decision as everything I tried was so good and quite delicious. The business itself has a modest footprint with limited seating for indoor dining, I can see as the summer months approach that this place will definately get busy as a quality treat like this is hard to pass up. This place was already fairly full on a cooler mid March nite. If you are in this area and are a fan of fine Gelato this is a business not to be missed.

The coffee, which has similarities to a Turkish coffee, is a medium roast with Cardamon and cream. Definately a unique flavor profile from what I am used to where it is a flavorful robust coffee that is well balanced with no harsh notes and oh so tasty. What I didn't know before coming here is that coffee originated out of Yemen some 500 years ago where they clearly have perfected the drink where this is a HUGE step up from the week diluted drink we call coffee here in the states. The coffee shop itself is bright, clean, very modern and very inviting with a casual vibe and nice Yemeni accents throughout to add to drinking experience. Staff is very friendly in explaining the drinks and how they are made and help guide you to the right drink choice as the names of drinks are very unique and a tad confusing as evidenced by my Mufawaar (: Overall an excellent unique coffee shop that is a must visit if you are a fan of good full bodied coffee. I was really surprised to see the hot drinks getting sealed like typical boba drinks. The drinks came out warm/ room temperature and we got to customize the sugar level. The wheel cake was the size of my palm and had a generous amount of filling. The wheel cake isn't sweet but goes great with the milk tea. This is such a cute boba place that offers a variety of milk tea and non caffeine drinks and with wheel cakes. Highly recommend trying if you enjoy milk tea and of course, bubbles (boba).

I understand employees may be busy, so that wasn't my concern. What bothered me was the customer service that followed. I asked for a small Berries Delight and pointed to the individual desserts on the left. Instead, the young man assisting me went to the cakes on the right and attempted to hand me a small cake. I politely stopped him and explained that I wanted the personal-sized Berries Delight on the left. He responded by saying, "Those are called slices," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. I then asked if I could have a fresh one from the refrigerator because the one in the display case looked like it had been sitting there for a while. He insisted the display one was fine, but I repeated that I would prefer one from the refrigerator. He reluctantly got one and handed it to me, saying, "There's your fresh Berries Delight," in a sarcastic tone. I visit Sweet Dreams regularly--between this location and the previous one, I stop in about four times a month. I've always enjoyed your desserts, which is why this experience was so surprising. I've never been treated this way before. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the quality of customer service should match the quality of your products.
