Our main courses were the Pecan Encrusted Trout, Grouper with Mango Salsa and Ribs. They were great. We had extra to take home. We celebrated our daughter's birthday. Since we, had dessert at home, we carried out the free carrot cake. Our waiter, Nicholas was perfect. He was constantly checking on how everything was. He gave his recommendations on what to order. We liked the Ambiance of the restaurant. We were seated in the perfect part of the restaurant. We plan on returning there and will ask for Nicholas to be our waiter.

I enjoyed a Lemon Drop Martini and it was so strong I diluted it with my water! We had an awesome server. He started with telling us the items of the day and making menu recommendations. His attention to detail was impeccable and he made sure we were checked on without being overbearing. Dining with a toddler he made sure hot plates were out of reach. The restaurant was super busy but there wasn't a long wait for our meals. I enjoyed a Steak Maui, Smashed Potatoes, Alex Salad and Not Your Ordinary Mac & Cheese. As we were celebrating my June birthday I received a carrot cake with candle that the toddler immediately blew out which was a hoot! He carefully packaged everything in to go containers and made sure to separate our bags. It was a lovely dining experience!

I finally made it on a free morning, just in time for an early lunch. On the day of my visit, it was cold and wet, so outdoor dining was out of the question. Just inside is a large deli counter with items available for take-out. Beyond that was a large and stylish dining room, where diners enjoyed the last of their breakfasts. I was a smidge earlier than everyone else for lunch; the dining room filled up soon afterwards. I loved the huge menu - there were so many options for soups, salads (Maurice, Greek, and Cobb, to name a few), sandwiches (Reuben's, triple deckers, and even vegetarian), burgers and hot dogs, breakfasts (omelettes, waffles, and French toast), and deli classics. I opted for the Victor Special, extra cut, which included larger portions of both corned beef and pastrami, coleslaw, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. The thinly-sliced meat was indeed piled high at the center. For my side, I had wanted the onion rings, but they were already sold out! Instead, I went with the hash browns; they were crispy with a mashed potato-like interior. In retrospect, I should have tried some of the foods I've enjoyed from my hometown: knishes, blintzes, latkes; I'm now dreaming of meals I've had in my past. Service was fine at first, but my server got busy elsewhere, and her coworkers pitched in.

The only issue is, I'm guessing the kitchen was backed up and the servers were a bit overwhelmed. We ended up having an enjoyable meal, and the food itself was great as always. And eventually someone who was not technically our server took care of us and did an excellent job. I shared eggs and challah french toast with my daughter and both were great. The latte (ehhh) ... Maybe just get regular coffee. I was in the mood but they don't do almond milk in it and it was just OK. So I wouldn't get that again here.

Stage Deli - Waitress was vacuuming as we we're trying to eat dinner. Very unprofessional. Loud and noisy. This should be unacceptable

For some reason, this area is just packed with unique brunch style restaurants and Leeza's is apart of it. Absolutely incredible menu. I love seafood brunch, and this is one of the few places that has shrimp, crab, lobster and salmon available in a variety of dishes. Another item that was unique and incredible was the Potato Pancake Benedict. As someone who is a previous Eggs Benedict addict, but who tries to avoid bread, the Potato Pancake Benedict is one of the best brunch innovations I've seen in the last 3 years. They let you use the modification with any of their Benedict offerings, so I choose to use it on the Crab Cake Benedict. I absolutely loved it. The Crab Cake didn't overdo it on the Cake, and was properly filled with crab (as it should be). The Hollandaise had a great (but not overpowering) flavor and had a nice, thick texture. The dish was an awesome revelation, and I'll be coming back because I don't know anyone else who has it Because I had the Potato Pancakes, I decided to go with the grits as my side and, again, they were unique and high quality. I got the butter and cheese grits and they were incredibly creamy with great, fresh cheese flavor. You also got a great portion, which was much appreciated. The waitress we had was awesome and my coffee was hot, high quality, and filled multiple times. The place has a ton of booths and parking is fine for the most part. This is a spot with so many good menu items that you have to visit multiple times to get the full picture. I'll be updating the review with any other dishes I try.

As others have said, Leeza's is perfect if you're looking for great diner food, flowing coffee, and affordable prices. I absolutely love all of the omelette options and the fact that you can request them to be made fluffy! For some reason, I can only find this in Michigan! I went with a fluffy egg white veggie omelette with caramelized onions, sliced tomatoes and an english muffin. I had all of the coffee and water I needed along with it. My mom had the Greek omelette with caramelized onions and no olives. She had a side of carrots. We both left satisfied... Already wanting to go back!
