I enjoyed a Lemon Drop Martini and it was so strong I diluted it with my water! We had an awesome server. He started with telling us the items of the day and making menu recommendations. His attention to detail was impeccable and he made sure we were checked on without being overbearing. Dining with a toddler he made sure hot plates were out of reach. The restaurant was super busy but there wasn't a long wait for our meals. I enjoyed a Steak Maui, Smashed Potatoes, Alex Salad and Not Your Ordinary Mac & Cheese. As we were celebrating my June birthday I received a carrot cake with candle that the toddler immediately blew out which was a hoot! He carefully packaged everything in to go containers and made sure to separate our bags. It was a lovely dining experience!

Because of that kindness and flexibility, we ended up dining there multiple days in a row. The service was wonderful, as always, but it was the empathy and genuine accommodation that really made the difference. Experiences like that create loyal customers for life.

The only issue is, I'm guessing the kitchen was backed up and the servers were a bit overwhelmed. We ended up having an enjoyable meal, and the food itself was great as always. And eventually someone who was not technically our server took care of us and did an excellent job. I shared eggs and challah french toast with my daughter and both were great. The latte (ehhh) ... Maybe just get regular coffee. I was in the mood but they don't do almond milk in it and it was just OK. So I wouldn't get that again here.

I finally made it on a free morning, just in time for an early lunch. On the day of my visit, it was cold and wet, so outdoor dining was out of the question. Just inside is a large deli counter with items available for take-out. Beyond that was a large and stylish dining room, where diners enjoyed the last of their breakfasts. I was a smidge earlier than everyone else for lunch; the dining room filled up soon afterwards. I loved the huge menu - there were so many options for soups, salads (Maurice, Greek, and Cobb, to name a few), sandwiches (Reuben's, triple deckers, and even vegetarian), burgers and hot dogs, breakfasts (omelettes, waffles, and French toast), and deli classics. I opted for the Victor Special, extra cut, which included larger portions of both corned beef and pastrami, coleslaw, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. The thinly-sliced meat was indeed piled high at the center. For my side, I had wanted the onion rings, but they were already sold out! Instead, I went with the hash browns; they were crispy with a mashed potato-like interior. In retrospect, I should have tried some of the foods I've enjoyed from my hometown: knishes, blintzes, latkes; I'm now dreaming of meals I've had in my past. Service was fine at first, but my server got busy elsewhere, and her coworkers pitched in.

Waitress was vacuuming as we we're trying to eat dinner. Very unprofessional. Loud and noisy. This should be unacceptable

The place is huge: dining rooms, private room, large bar area with many TVs, a stage and dance floor area, plus an outdoor patio which is enclosed for all year round use. It is usually very busy and therefore very loud especially in the bar/TV area. The menu has lots of options including for restricted diet which I appreciate being gluten free. The portions are large, you get your money's worth, even if the food itself is not super imaginative. The salads are my favorite, and are large enough to share. The Chop salad with steak and shrimp is very filling. The Greek with chicken actually comes with a good amount of toppings, not just a single beet or pepperoncini pepper on top. The service is always great and staff is friendly and accommodating. Splitting bills even for a large group is not an issue. If you're there on a weekend night for the live music, the dance floor area can get packed. The crowd and vibe depends on which band and music genre is playing. Overall it's usually a good night out, not a lot of places where you can get dinner and dance in the same location.

We sat in the covered patio with heater and it was a bit quicker. We had great service. The menu is a typical bar fare. It's a shoulder shrug food experience. Nothing bad but not great either. The starter of bang bang shrimp was flavorful and the shrimp crispy but that's where it ended. The salads were subpar. Some might say, it's a salad - aren't they boring? No, they shouldn't be. I added shrimp to mine and somehow the shrimp had no flavor. Where did it go? The ahi tuna salad looked good too but the tuna was cooked too much. It should just kiss the heat, not actually cook. The curley fries arrived cold. It was expensive for what we got.

I arrived early to sample their Happy Hour where I got a Tommy Margarita which was one of four cocktail choices on the Happy Hour menu where the other choices are an Old Fashion, Lemon Drop Martini and a Black Manhattan. All of which I personally am a fan of. Relative to my Margarita, it was very well made with 2 full ounces of Blanco Tequila as the base and quite tasty. Definately a drink with a kick and not a watered down version you get at most other bars in the area. At $8 it's a pretty good deal in my opinion especially for a drink of this quality. Relative to Dinner my wife got the White Fish dinner and I got the Milanese Chicken. Both dishes were excellent where they were cooked to perfection and were delicious. Prices on the menu were a tad high in my opinion but the old adage that you get what you pay for applies here and is definately worth the cost in my opinion. Appetizer was the Calamari which was well made and quite tasty in its own right. Relative to staff and facility, the facility is very classy with a nice contemporary flair to it, Definately an upscale feel to it where both the bar and the dining area offer an elevated dining/drinking experience. Staff was super friendly with great follow up where the bar can be a tad slower as only one bartender was working while I was there but he did a fairly good job of keeping up with the orders and high marks for his efficiency. Overall a great classy restaurant with a nice Happy Hour makes this a destination restaurant worth the trip if you live outside this area. For discerning customers who prize Quality in what they eat and drink this is a business not to be missed!
