We just purchased our 2nd camper from Leo's, while they gave us the best price we could find on our 2016 Bighorn, it's not always about price. Our salesman Mike was great, he was quick to communicate with us and stayed on top of things. Sara in the finance department was also fantastic, she took the time to explain everything in great detail and was very organized. If there is a third camper in my future I will definitely return to Leo's, in the mean time I will be sure to use them for parts and service as everyone was friendly and helpful throughout the whole buying experience. Recently bought a new travel trailer from Leos. The selection was wide. I found exactly what I wanted. The price was great. We decided to finance. The financing was all around great. They found us a bank with low rates. The entire paperwork signing process was completely stress free. The trailer walk through was very thorough. The very few minor issues were dealt with in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this dealer again and again. Shaking my head at what just happened. I'm not sure where to start but I should have picked up on it with my original phone call with Phil. Nobody likes a pushy salesman, but, you know what's worse? A salesman who appears to have little or no interest in getting your business. Web to to look at a used RV. Asked about water damage, he said he hadn't seen any. Really Phil? You're the expert and this is the first RV I've looked at and I found the water damage. Maybe these things are selling themselves during the pandemic, but, one day they they won't be flying off the shelves. I could have gotten past the water damage, but, you gave me no confidence in your ability as a company to take care of it. Talk about unhelpful. And, when I asked about test driving, you tell me "you can't test drive until we talk numbers". Ummm...you think I'm going to talk numbers before I drive this thing around the block? You are out of your mind. I was ready to buy an RV today Phil. If I could give you zero stars I would. Heading into the next place that wants my money. dropped my camper off december 1 to get warrenty work done and and the $199.00 yearly check and here it is march 29, 2022 and still haven't heard a word from the service department. contacted service department in february and was told they still haven't touched my camper. hopefully we don't have water damage due to the gaskets not being on the bumpouts. 2 year the service department here sucks!!!!! read more

Don't not buy from here. Purchased a brand new RV in April. Been back and forth with nothing but problems. They are very friendly to get your money, but nothing but the run around when it comes to repairs. Service dept receptionist is rude. Bob is nasty. Quality assurance is poor. Drive out further and work with someone reputable. Saves yourself the headache. Order for parts- still waiting on; even the title registration was incorrect. No apologies for the inconveniences, just attitudes like they are doing you a favor. Run as fast as you can....in the opposite direction. read more

I brought my 24' Race Car trailer to have the electrical system diagnosed, locks changed and roof resealed. I worked with Daniel Noell as my service representative. Daniel provided me a quote in advance of the work being completed. He kept me up-to-date on the status of the work and kept within the budget. Daniel also had my RV ready for pickup when I arrived, 0 waiting time. Leo's also had the most competitive price, and I contacted 3 other rv service stores. The Leo's facility is definitely busy, but that's not a negative. 5 stars! read more

My biggest issue is with timeliness of repair service after sale. Number of issues experienced with my new RV and because it was not usable, I was given a service appointment within a week of purchase (and they implied they were doing me a great favor). Only some items were fixed at that time, after leaving the RV with them for a week and I got no feedback on when the remainder would be taken care of. When more issues surfaced on my first use, some very significant, I called to schedule a followup to complete the previously unfinished work and to correct the new defects. I was shocked to hear the next available appointment would be a month out. Hmmm. Besides a crazy long delay, why didn't they proactively inform me there would be a long wait when I was picking up the RV after the initial repairs and schedule it then, as they knew there was more work needed at that time? For the items needing manufacturer's input, there was a lengthy delay before Leo's initially reached out to the manufacturer and apparently little to no follow up when they didn't respond. Weeks have gone by I'm still being told there's no answer from the manufacturer regarding some major issues. Adding to my frustration, the only time Leo's appears to consider a follow up to demand an answer is when I call and ask for updated status. I'm now getting the sense that even after I call that they don't actually reach out since the answer every time I call for an update is that they still haven't heard back.....after 4 weeks? Really? Interesting how when I had a presale question needing manufacturer rep response, I got it same or next day every time. Coincidence? I contacted the owner to express my frustration and concerns and he basically blew me off, telling me to work with service, but to feel free to contact him anytime (just not with any real issues or requests for help). Overall I'm happy with my RV, but could have done better buying online given the unfulfilled promises of excellent local service from Leo's after sale making it worth the cost difference. Beware - if you plan to purchase from Leo's, be sure to get all identified pre-sale defects corrected before you pay as you will go from high priority to being treated the same as anyone walking off the street who didn't buy from them and that means LONG wait times for service appointments. read more

Buying an RV is like buying a house. Lots of paperwork to gather, meeting with the bank and so forth. So on the way back from the Outer Banks we stopped in Leo's and found a toy hauler that the whole family fell in love with. Met with Phil who took us to look at the RV. He spent a lot of time with us and was interested in seeing to it that we were happy. I feel we got a good deal on a 2016, was happy with what was offered for our trade and 2 weeks later we were in our new vehicle. We had a few issues with the trailer which from being a previous RV owner is totally normal. Leo's was able to get these small issues resolved and they really wanted to make us happy. This is our 3rd RV we bought from Leo's. The 1st was a pop up, 2nd was a travel trailer and now the 5th wheel toy hauler. There is a reason why we keep going back and that is the experience. What a waste of my time. I drove for two hours because they showed 15 class B vans on their lot. Got there and the salesman made it pretty clear from the start that he wasn't very interested in showing me Class B Van's, (once I told him I was going to buy something in the next few months--guess he knew I wasn't buying today, so didn't really care.) He showed me one class B with a floor plan I didn't like. He kept telling me how big the bathroom was. I told him I didn't care. I wasn't going to be cooking, eating or sleeping in the bathroom. He tried to show me how much bigger and better a B+ was. I said I wasn't interested. I asked if there were other class B's I could look at. He reluctantly got the keys to ONE (that was about $30,000 more than the one I originally looked at. Very nice. I asked to see the Zion and (he didn't have the key with him) told me "It's the same as the first one you looked at. I get home and see that it is TOTALLY different from the first one I looked at. I asked about another one and he said "Yeah, it's on the other lot." I asked if I could see it and he diverted my attention to something closer to the front door of the salesroom. Didn't bother showing me any of the features, or explaining anything to me. Seemed only interested in how big some of the bathrooms are. (I guess we know what HIS priority is). I was there at lunch time and the other people working there (nobody seemed to actually be working except the receptionist, who was very nice) were all seated at the break table. I guess I was interfering with his lunch. I came home very disappointed that I'd wasted a day to see 3 vans and get no real info. I'll take my $100,000 somewhere else. read more

We were told they were booked through Dec. and we were about to leave when the boss took a look and ... the whole crew was tenacious about figuring out what was wrong. They really took care of us. Then it took another 10 days just to get an estimate... it's been three weeks since the estimate and today they told us it will take another two weeks because they need another part they don't carry. Bought a new camper last year, and had some issues with it that should've been covered under warranty. Made an appointment to winterize the camper, and told them about the issues. When the camper was taken in to winterize and repair, they said they only had time to winterize. They said they didn't have storage space for the under 20' camper to stay during the winter for the repairs. Took it back for the warranty forever inspection with the growing list of complaints, and they said it'd take about 2 months to address the issues. They won't allow the camper to be picked up and used during the season while they wait for parts to come in after looking at it to diagnose the complaint list. So the camper has to be out of commission for warranty repairs that could've been done during the winter. They said they could do the repairs this December when the camper is winterized again. There is no excuse for having to wait months for an appointment, then months for the unit to be serviced, and have warranty issues ongoing for a year!!! They only want to sell units and do quick easy work like winterizing and summerizing units, and don't want to be bothered with anything beyond that. read more

Took our 2016 Winnebago in for minor work - installing a larger fan in bathroom, an separate access port panel to assist winterizing interior sink and a couple other minor requests. After conversations reconfirming exactly where we wanted the access port installed because of the highly visible location on the interior, the port was then installed in the wrong location. The technician obviously broke the panel seal pushing too hard while drilling hole and made no effort to repair or resecure. Electrical tape was placed for some reason on a wall panel and when removed, pulled finish of laminate off....it's at eye level so not able to be hidden. No effort to communicate or concern was given to the quality of the work or the attention to detail that you should expect. The work was so disappointing, we will not let them touch our camper to repair. We're taking it somewhere else, recommending to Winnebago to pull Leo's as a service center and Leo's has lost a current and future customer as well as any positive referrals from us. Extremely disappointed, and thankful we did NOT schedule any major service with Leo's Vacation Center in Gambrills, MD. read more

I took my Rv in for warranty work. It was so packed with vehicles They directed me where to park I informed the person guiding me I could not see all around he said it's ok and told me to pull forward a little As I did I hit the top of my rv. He said sorry and do not worry we will take care of it. 4 months and about ten calls asking when I will have my RV back they called. I went to pick it up and was given a large invoice for the repair. When I pointed out it was. It was not my fault the service man called the the manager who walked in beligerent rude and asked what did I want. I said I was told Leo's would take care of it. He said no way and the service man said he never said it. The manager then threw the invoice at me said get out and don't come back. I paid it out of principal and left. This is how Leo.s treat a customer of 20 years. The service guys are great there. The manager well you decide. read more

We bought our first RV- a Thor ACE from Leo's, and we were very happy with their sales/financial departments- very good customer service, helpful, and were very nice about answering all our questions. On our first trip (a couple hundred miles away from home), the hydraulic pump broke and there was a fairly major leak above the driver's side window. Called them about it and the receptionist told me I couldn't even bring it in to get looked at for 6-8 weeks! When I finally got on the phone with a manager, he told me I could bring it in the next day....what a difference. It took them about a week to diagnose it, then another week to get the parts in. Once the parts were in, the RV was ready the next day- which was a relief. My number one complaint with them would be that the receptionist would tell me it would take "6-8 weeks" for everything (to get the RV in, until the parts came in, etc) which caused me a lot of stress. Everything turned out ok in the end, but I felt their customer service did not help ease my mind through out the process. read more

Here is my experience of Leo's RV in Maryland... Bought a 2005 Weekend Warrior 5th wheel from Leo's in Summer 2008. Drove from the Midwest to pickup in Maryland. After a quick inspection of the inside, bad weather set in and prevented a complete inspection of the roof. After getting the trailer home I discovered severe water damage throughout all four corners of the trailer (not visible on the inside). Not to mention the trailer was filled with mold that my family and I unknowingly slept in on our trip back. Leo's RV accepted ZERO responsibility for what they sold us and stated: "We should have looked at it closer" Nice customer service Leo's!!! They claim to be a RV repair center and can't spot a leaking roof!!! I tried to come to a reasonable settlement through the BBB of Maryland, but Leo's would not budge... Since they charged us $18,000 for a unusable trailer, and refused to give us any money towards the repair of what was basically a "salvage" trailer worth half that!!! Went there to get some parts for my Pop-UP. I went to their online location first and needed a Dual Tank hold down nut and regulator bracket. I went in person to their store. They had none. The guy working behind the desk went online for me and I showed him what I was talking about. He understood and found he had no brackets or nuts in stock. He opened a kit box and took the parts out and sold it to me. They have everything you need for you RV or pop up. Their staff is knowledgeable. Where the hell else are you going to go? read more

Perhaps purchasing from this place is a good experience but servicing is a different story...it was absolutely the worst & done with incompetence. After replacing a faucet they neglected to clean the sink & now it is rusted & that's the minor issue. The electrical problems we've had with our RV since taking it there haven't ended & has ruined the beginning of the camping season. In addition, the woman who works the service counter is very rude. It's unfortunate that there aren't more RV service centers in Maryland but we'll definitely drive out of state or a further distance for future servicing. read more

Stay clear of this place. Supposedly a Winnebago Dealer but when asked if they could perform some of the factory warranty that needs done, they said they only service what they sell. I will contact Winnebago! But even worse, we did the drive thru winterizing they offer. At the same time, we asked them to top off the propane. Whatever they did to it, the propane will not function now. When we called them about the issue they were unconcerned about the problem that THEY caused. The propane was fine when we drove in. Now we are unable to stay in the RV as we have no furnace in the cold of Maryland. Thanks a lot Leo!! read more

While traveling to Maryland from Texas in our brand new Thor Outlaw class A we found that the dash heat was not working. I called Leo's knowing they were a Thor dealer. I was told that since we did not purchase the coach from them that they would not do any service work, including warranty work. I find this unacceptable. Terrible experience. We bought a used (2015, it was just over a year old) travel trailer here and it was bad from the beginning. They installed a hitch on the back of our SUV to attach the trailer to, but they attached it so low that every time we went over a speed bump or up a hill, the metal scraped the pavement. Also, the power in the trailer wasn't working at all, they had given us a bad battery. Luckily we weren't too far yet so we drove (1 hour) back to them to fix these things. Then we took a road trip. Night one of using the trailer, we parked it to sleep and the heat wouldn't come on. It didn't work. There was fuel but the heat wouldn't work. We slept without heat. With 3 kids. In January. We survived! Figured we would let them know on Monday. Sunday, our 2nd travel day EVER in this trailer, we drove 2-3 hours on the interstate, and out of no where something went Kerplunk! We had to pull over with clouds of smoke behind the trailer. The metal leaf under the trailer totally broke. We didn't hit anything, there was no impact, the thing just broke! We spent all day trying to get towed (we were in the country, in Tennessee, on Sunday) with kids in the trailer. Miraculously we found a tow company and a place to get towed to that was covered by insurance. We called Leo's on Monday to let them know, and since we had only owned the trailer for 3 days when this happened, we figured they would cover the repair! Obviously their guys had not properly inspected this trailer before selling it to us, there were too many problems with it. We waited for 3 days (paying for hotel rooms and eating out-both expenses we had not planned on) for a response from Leo's, and then I called to get an update. They decided not to cover the repairs because they felt they costed too much. It was $2400 to repair this trailer, and we used it for 8 hours MAXIMUM! When we bought the trailer, the salesman gave us the impression we would be covered no matter what happened, he discussed roadside assistance and RV priority service, but we reaped none of these benefits. We would NEVER buy anything else from them, don't trust them and don't recommend them. read more

I was extremely disappointed with Leo's. Customer service was horrible. I was yelled at by a receptionist over the phone, service guys and the general manager and phone calls were not returned or even acknowledged. I bought a 2014 Sprinter travel trailer delivered on May 9 which went fine except that it was delivered dirty in and out. Plus I was promised that the awning would be cleaned; it never was. The main problem became getting them to honor the warranty. It was a 30 day warranty of which no one could give me a straight answer about. Within a couple of days there were a couple of minor problems to be fixed which they agreed to take care of. Will in service told me they had a guy down southern Maryland that does work for them and they would contact. Never saw the guy. Three days after delivery the refrigerator broke down after having stocked the fridge and freezer the evening before. I was supposed to move in the next day. I was assured, by Will, they would take care of everything including fixing the fridge. All the food (approx. $150.00 worth) had to be thrown out. Everything in the freezer was mush. This was a full size 18.8 cu fridge. It took three weeks for a service guy to come and take a look at my rv. They gave me a new main plug for the rv, replacing what came with the rv, after checking the fuses and breaker box. Now I cannot close the outside electric box because of the plug they gave me. The service guys argued with me over every little problem, had excuses for most and wanted me to put more food in the fridge that was not fixed. They did not want to replace the fridge even though on at least 4 separate occasions the freezer got way to warm and Leo's did not replace it until another 10 days went by. I had called to talk to the general manager, Bob, who did not call me back until 10 minutes before closing by his own admission he kept me waiting on any response. He preceded to yell at me about not replacing the refrigerator and that all the spoiled food that I had to throw out was an accident! So he would not cover that. The general manager, Bob, had at one point sent me an e-mail in the beginning to present him with a challenge that he could do for me, price, terms. "Allow me the chance and I'll get the job done!" Well he failed completely. I will never recommend Leo's; in fact living in an rv resort, I have let my horrible experience be known so people are aware to stay away! read more

We purchased a brand new motor home from Leo's in 2008, and purchased a full 7-year warranty along with it. We have had nothing but problems with our motor home since the day we purchased it. We have brought the vehicle in numerous times for repairs of the same problems, and still we cannot seem to get them fully and finally resolved. When we call to book service, often nobody even answers the phone in the service department. When we finally get the vehicle scheduled and in for service, it takes far longer for the repairs to be completed than we are told up front - and yet often the repairs are still not acceptable when we go to pick it up. One of the biggest disasters of all has been the vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bath areas. When we initially purchased the vehicle brand new back in 2008, there was a hole in the linoleum flooring, which we made note of at pick up. Over the past 6 years, we have had the vehicle in over and over again because they cannot seem to get this fixed. One solution they performed was to cut an even bigger square hole in the linoleum (around the imperfection) and stick another piece of linoleum in that spot - of course, as soon as we used the slideout, that square was torn up. Next, they replaced the linoleum altogether, but they "taped" it down and as soon as we operated the slideout, once again, the entire floor was torn apart, leaving a huge gaping hole in front of our dinette. In addition, they did not re-connect all of the toilet hoses, so as soon as we used the toilet, water started spraying everywhere when we flushed it. Now, they refuse to do anything further to correct the damage - which they have made worse with their numerous unprofessional attempts to fix. I would seriously advise you to think twice before you purchase a vehicle/camper from Leo's - they just don't perform warranty work that comports with any acceptable standard of performance, and become nasty when you have to again return the unit for the same issue. I wish I could provide a better review - but I have to be honest - RUN, don't walk away from this business! read more

I have never dealt with a worse representative than the woman I just spoke to in the service department at Leo's. I'm upset that the only response I can get after my camper has been at the service department for over a month is "it's unrepairable," but aside from that, this woman was combative, unwilling to help and downright rude. She interrupted me more than once as I tried to ask questions to determine if my camper is safe for use and how a 1" pokehole in the roof from a fallen branch makes an otherwise perfectly great camper a giant piece of junk. We called in February, were told that the earliest appointment was for mid-April and found out on 25 May that the camper is "unrepairable." Three months of waiting to get a two-word response that doesn't make sense is unacceptable. Even a wrecked car would get a quote detailing what components needed to be fixed and the overall cost; I understand if they don't want to do the work because they have bigger jobs or things that are more cost effective, but don't write off my business because you think it's not worth something to me. read more
