I feel like I have written this review 5 times since my visit, as I cannot get this little shop out of my head. I trekked up with a gf to her cabin to haul back a boat over the weekend. Just a quick trip with my gal pal so she didn't ride alone. When we came through town, she pointed out the coffee shop and said it's her go-to spot when at their cabin. Ok - had to try it. Clearly the word is out, since the line was almost out the door when we arrived for coffee the next morning. Easy to park, but not on a main road. Wrap around porch provided plenty of distanced seating. Since they have coffee and a few baked items, patrons were coming and going. It was easy enough to find a seat. We ordered our coffees and shared a slice of some blueberry item that was excellent. The latte was so good, I went back for another. I know that options are limited in this small town but man is this place a homerun. They have some Michigan Art works on the walls for sale. A few snacks and other drinks too. Definitely a must-spot for coffee when nearby. I don't know that you will get better than this even if you were able to find a Starbucks. It's that good, for sure.

Great little coffee shop, looks like it was renovated recently. It has a beautiful wrap around patio with tables. Nicely decorated. The oatmeal latte i had was very nice. Highly recommended. I'll be back!

Clean and friendly and full of delicious house-roasted coffee and fresh-baked goods

What a welcome addition to Cedarville! High quality house-roasted brews, fresh and homemade baked goods (like scones, cinnamon rolls, biscotti), and the perfect friendly community feel of your favorite local coffee shop. The owners, David and Jennifer Gough, have been roasting for a few years and opened the shop here in April. Chances are you will see them working in the shop and good thing too, because they are friendly and fun to talk to. They plan to be open year-round - woohoo! So glad to also see their coffee served at the distillery restaurant across the street and sold at some local stores. The coffee is very good. We tried the Sumatra and the Brazilian blends which were both excellent, smooth, and drinkable, and came with a full description of tasting notes from David. The shop itself is bright and clean and has free internet. Plenty of seating and tables. There are mugs and bags of coffee and other merchandise for sale. Parking next to the shop in the dirt lot. Accepts credit cards. LC Coffee Co. fills a great need in this community and I am so glad locals and tourists alike have a place to gather and enjoy great coffee.

The coffee is really good, and so are the delicious baked goods! While I was in town, I came here for breakfast every day!

It was warm, delicious, very tasty , a bit spicy and served on a really good soft bun with crispy edges. Perfectly cooked the sandwiches are served with orange slices , which is a nice break from chips or fries ! They have numerous coffe and matcha drinks hotv& cold. I tried the cold match blackberry lemonade and it was good and my hubby had the matcha raspberry latte and he really liked his. You know it's a great place when you unexpectedly run into the bride eating there the morning after her wedding!!! The only thing keeping me from giving this restaurant 5 stars ( because the food quality IS there !) is the bathroom situation. There's a very tiny sing men's and women's with a sink to wash hands inbetween. I didn't mind the " closet bathroom stall - I minded the dirty floor and the fact that when I went to wash my hands in the shared sink outside the stall in between the bathrooms , barely any soap dispenses! I went under 4 x just to get enough soap to get the buffalo sauce off of my hands. This is concerning because it makes you wonder if the cooks are bothering to try to get any soap on their hands ?! . Roast and Toast : *Clean the bathroom floors and get a new soap dispenser and I bet you'll get the stars and reviews your food deserves !

Because the place was populated (but not crowded) and my order was simple (a matcha and cranberry chicken salad) Filling my order was a lay-up. The drink came in a timely fashion but my sandwich was nowhere to be found. Add to that I was sitting in the very visible window seat, by myself...a fact made more obvious by the fact that no one was near me and I'm a black dude in a very white restaurant (basically making me even more obvious). Now to be clear: I DO NOT think this was racially motivated, I DO think , however, it was due to inattentive staff. Personally I'm also not a fan of having to go get my food when they call my name, ESPECIALLY if the drink and the food come out at different times. Too much up and down for me. Cute place but I was disappointed...which bums me out because I really WANTED to like this place. This will probably be my only time here (as I am just passing through) and, sadly, this was the impression I was left with.

Our server Lisa was so warm and friendly (as if she was your mother) and took great care of us! Got the parmesan topped whitefish with creamy mushroom soup and coleslaw. The mushroom soup was creamy and hearty. I liked the coleslaw - just the right amount of sweet and sour for me. I enjoyed the fish very much. We would have gotten some desserts but we were so full. We did see that the cheesecake slices were huge! Would definitely recommend this place!

To place a carry out order, you must come inside and sit down at a table, then tell your server that you want to place a to go order. Lisa was helpful, told me the order would be out pretty quickly, and she brought me a glass of water for while I waited. I ordered the mackinaw burger with onion rings, and hot ham and cheese with fries. I also ordered a coconut cream pie and a Dutch cherry pie slice. All of this was to go, and she packed it up and brought me carry-bags for it. The coconut cream pie was good. The Dutch cherry was ok but, I have had better. The French fries were good--crispy and lightly seasoned. The onion rings were large and hot/fresh, but they are battered (I prefer breaded), and they are pretty greasy. The burger was nice sized and cooked well done, which I like. It came with cheese, lots of pickles, relish, lots of mustard, and just a little ketchup. The hot ham and cheese was okay. I chose white bread rather than rye or wheat. The bread was not special--seemed like white bread you'd buy at any grocery in a plastic wrapper. There's an up-charge for the onion rings. I say skip that and get the fries. For the 2 sandwiches, 1 with fries, one with onion rings, and 2 pieces of pie, my bill was $51.36 before any tip added on. I get that it's a short season up north here, so I expect everything to be a little pricey. If the burger had a bit of char and came on an upscale bun, if the hot ham and cheese came on a thicker toasted bread, I'd say ok. But for what we got, it was overpriced.
