I've been a loyal customer of Les Schwab since they opened in Cedar because they have consistently delivered outstanding service. That's why today's experience was so deeply disappointing. I arrived with a scheduled appointment at 9:00 a.m. to have the rear shocks replaced on my vehicle. The service technician assured me the job would only take a few hours. By 2:00 p.m., with no update, I called the shop. I was told they were behind and hadn't even started on my car yet, but they promised they would begin work at 3:00 p.m. When I still hadn't heard anything by 5:00 p.m., I returned to the shop and found my vehicle sitting untouched in the exact same parking spot--eight full hours after I dropped it off. The technician then admitted they were running far behind and said they would start "right away," estimating the job at about 30 minutes. At that moment, I was tempted to just let them finish, but the complete lack of respect for my time and my appointment left me with no choice but to take my business elsewhere. My car sat idle in their lot all day while my place in line was repeatedly pushed back. This level of poor communication and disregard for a confirmed appointment is unacceptable. It has significantly damaged my trust in Les Schwab and unfortunately overshadows all the positive experiences I've had with them in the past. I expected much better. read more

I brought my 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 into this location here in Cedar City. I called and spoke to a gentleman at the desk who was helpful and polite. He quoted me the cost to balance and rotate all four of my wheels and tires. Normally I go to Big O Tire but I was pretty close by to Les Schwab and heard good things. The service was quick and done well. Only complaint I have which is not small. They put 3 pretty large scuffs out of the inside of my brand new machined method wheels. They are ceramic coated as well so they managed to not just scratch them. But go through the coating and into the wheel itself. Not to mention they did it 3 times on the same wheel. read more

Within moments, the shaking became so violent that we could barely control the car and were forced to pull into the emergency lane. Thankfully, the Cedar City exit was close, and we spotted your Les Schwab location at 1403 S Providence Center. We limped in and explained our frightening situation. Jonathan LG immediately took charge. He pulled our vehicle right into the bay, put it up on the lift, removed the tires, and thoroughly inspected everything. He discovered the front tires were out of balance and added a .75 oz weight to each. After a careful test drive, he confirmed the vehicle was safe and smooth once again. After the local Jiffy Lube lost me as a customer forever, I needed a new spot for my oil changes. Les Schwab wasn't what immediately came to mind but they are more than just tires. Clean, comfortable waiting area and friendly service reps. It isn't cheap but quality seldom is. They are my new go-to for simple maintenance needs. read more

We were driving to St George and the skid plate under the front of our car caught in the wind and was hitting the ground - we pulled off in Cedar City and pulled in to Les Schwab, and they graciously helped us out by removing the plate. On my way to Vegas, stayed the night in Cedar. Woke up with a flat. Took it here and they repaired it for free, There was a razor blade in my tire. How that got there is sus, but Les Schwab made it less painful. I'm almost happy about it, thanks to a group of kind humans. read more

I had a positive experience in the Cedar City location with Traeson as he attempted to repair 2 tires from Southwest Car and Trailer sales that came with purchase of my vehicle a year ago. I ended up having to purchase two matching tires for my jeep 4x4 on the rear. FYI. If you purchase a vehicle from Southwest Car Trailer Sales have them give you an cash allowance for their four new tires they put on . Because they come without a balance, ​ warranty or road hazard when they put them on buying them in bulk. read more

We ran over a nail on I15 about 15 mi south of Cedar City UT. Our Mazda tire warning light instantly screamed at us. I was fortunate that there was a rest stop nearby. Tire was totally flat. Put on the mini spare but knew I could not drive it at 80 mph all the way to Salt Lake. Called Les Schwab in Cedar City (about 10 mi away- lucky) and they were able to fit us in within an hour. They did not charge us and reinstalled the spare and miscellaneous tools in our trunk so it looked like nothin ever happened. Thanks for being there for us. They made lemonade out of a lemon experience. read more

I've always heard such good things about Les Schwab and their customer service. in fact a commercial awhile back about their service led me to use them. we travel for rodeo in a motorhome and horse trailer when we got a flat 100 miles from the closest Les Schwab in cedar city Utah. we put the spare in called and talked to George told him the situation and he was super helpful on the phone. I told him the scenario and we had horses in the trailer he told me come right on in we will get you taken care of and back on the road. I got to the location and they said would get the replacement mounted. ( the tire only had 5000 miles and was SHREDDED!). I thought great just like the commercial. the technician showed me where to pull our large rig and said I'll bring the tools out and get ya switched out! 1/2 later while we stood through the garage bay and watched 3 yes 3 technicians stand around we were left to stand by a stack of pallets and ignored! finally a guy named Mitch? or Mike? came and ask are are you being helped to which I replied unfortunately no! he then proceeded to tell me they have a couple others waiting ahead of me! which I could understand had this been communicated it would be that long of a wait we would have left and went somewhere else! but they all said we will get right to it only to ignore us. calling 2 hours ahead you would think that would be ample notice but it was the way we were ignored and left to stand by discarded pallets that just felt unprofessional! Fantastic service. I rented a car from Avis that had tires on the brink of failure. I tore through one of the tires and brought it here to swap out. The team explained the issue very throughly to me and showed me the damage and pointed out that three of my other tires were on the brink of failure as well. So they very well saved me from a potential accident. The team was extremely friendly and patient waiting for me to get approve from Avis to replace the tires. They worked with me every step of the way and explained everything they did in layman's terms. I worked with Jayce S. here the most and it was the best customer service I have ever received for the reasons stated above and he was so friendly and knowledgeable as well. He helped me prepare documentation for my reimbursement case for my rental car to help prove that the damage was long term and not from my driving. I came in to this location to get a set of new tires for my enclosed trailer before we went on a trip. We were leaving to the next afternoon and explained my situation to the manager Johnathan and he told me he might have them in before we left. He went and picked them up himself and made sure they were at the store so we could have these tires before we left.
