Got a flat on my utility trailer tire. So, I pulled it off and took it in to LS. They immediately greeted me when I arrived, took the tire back into the shop; removed the screw that caused the flat and put a plug/patch on it in less than an hour...NO CHARGE!! Well this use to be the only place I would take my cars... not anymore. I have taken probably 5-6 different cars in for work over the years and until today service had been flawless. So a couple days ago, my car starts having this obnoxious alarm going off every time I started my car, telling me I have low tire pressure. No no deal except my idea of fixing that is just guestimating and putting air until the alarm and dash symbols are gone. Had a blowout on my boat trailer while heading to Shaver Lake. It was over a hundred degrees, while I put the spare on my wife found Les Schwab about 4 minutes away. I had purchased tires at another shop but kept having to put air in them so finally went here to see if maybe they were leaking air and it was seriously like the commercials the guy came out to greet me and great customer service. I came 30 mins before closing and he said not a problem I wish I could remember his name but he was great. Took my info and was nice to. My daughter even though she was having a terrible two moment lol. They had coffee and popcorn and a coloring table for kids. The first guy that helped me was super friendly and helpful but a different guy checked me out and he was RUDE RUDE RUDE and completely useless! He was acting irritated that I was asking questions and to get his input on what the heck I should do. They put air in my trie for free but I left confused and irritated it was a waste of my time I will never return because of that jerk. Upon entering I was greeted and informed I would be helped out soon. Luis's service was courteous and professional, he had given me the experience that regardless of the size of the issue Les Schwab will handle it with their best expertise. My issues was resolved in mere seconds once my vehicle was brought up to the line. Best thing, since the issue was just the tpm, Luis had handled it right there and then. I rated Les Schwab back in February giving it 5 stars. I love using this place and it has been great. I have taken several different cars there and it has always been a easy process. Recently I took my 09 Lexus to get the struts replaced as they are reasonably priced as always and can get the work done in a day. There was a problem that developed with one of the struts, there was several attempts to fix the problem that took a little time and effort to get repaired and some missteps that occurred. But they got to work and figured it out. You always hope that you will not have any problems on any repairs, but that isn't realistic in this world. You really find out who is good and who is bad when a difficult problem comes up. That is when you really find value in a company. That is when you find out if they care about their customers. The wait didn't take long at all and this location was not busy during the hours I went. They have coffee and some vending machines and even free popcorn. Drove up and parked and friendly staff right away came up and help me. I had a nail in tire and needed it patched. They said it will take 45 mins, not a problem since there were customers before me. Place was CLEAN and had plenty of seating and some with tables. This place was cleaner than some fast food restaurants. Tire got fix for free and i will definitely come back to Les Schwab. They told me to come here get it fixed for free and if they couldn't fix it then for me to go back over to Honda for them to sell me a tire. I thought that was wildly disrespectful. I'm giving 2 stars when I should be giving 1. 5 stars for the staff and how pleasant they are, BUT their work quality is something else to talk about. After having a simple tire rotation they told me i need new struts and a control arm bushing replacement ( which is like impossible to see with out removing it). After hearing what they would quote me, I went home overwhelmed with the price of replacement parts. My dad looked at it (being a mechanic for 10 years) and all that was needed was the tightening of two bolts holding my strut tower to the rotor, that by the way were tight when I went there. I don't trust people who A). Don't tighten things back up all the way and B). Try and make profit off a mistake they made. I will not be returning. read more

What a great experience! We recently moved from Phoenix and my husband needed 2 stems replaced for his tire sensors. The local dealer cost was $145 and didn't have them in stock. Of course it was one of those things I thought I would ignore until I actually got out of the car at work and looked at my tire and realized THE LIGHT WAS NOT LYING! I quickly jumped in the car and headed to the first place I could remember, Les Schwab on Herndon. Someone came out of the store and met me in the parking lot and looked at my tire and told me he would take it right in. I was in and out in less than thirty minutes... AND THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME! From December 2015: I went in because one of my tires had unusually low pressure - thought I might have a slow leak. As other reviewers have noted: the customer service person met me at my car and took my vehicle information in the parking lot. All interaction was friendly and professional. Clean, roomy waiting area: separate areas for waiting, clean restrooms, popcorn and coffee, wide screen TV. After 15 minutes in the water tank, they couldn't find a leak - no charge for the service. Great customer service experience. But since I was waiting, I looked at some of their tires. A good selection of Toyo (Japan), a few Hankook (Korea) and some Cooper (USA). The other brands were low-end Asian manufacturers: Maxxis (Taiwan), Federal (Taiwan), Venezia (China), Wan-Li (China), Thunderer (Thailand), Sailun (China). 4-stars for this single experience. The next time I need tires, it will be interesting to compare their pricing. But my gut feeling is that Toyo and Hankook are the only highly rated brands they sell. read more

Needless to say a new tire was not on my agenda, but Andy gave me multiple options and guidance that was genuine and transparent. I am admittedly quite impatient, however, the men here treated this in a manner is best described as, "I've been there before, too." There is something to be said these days about a business and employees that realize customers and (hopefully not too soon for my sake) repeat customers will lead to continued business success. I experienced a total lack of competence from one service technician at this location this week. I brought my vehicle in for an alignment and lower ball joint. Two days later I received my vehicle after several hang-ups, mistakes, and flat out lies. Keep in mind this is a job that can be completed in minutes all while waiting in the lobby eating popcorn. Parts were broken by the tech and badly repaired thereafter only when questioned, improper installation of serveal items, a major safety concern by myself was denied and claimed to be okay. My obvious concerns and questions about the botched job were only met with more untruths designed to get me on my way. Even with as much confidence that was lost from my visit at this location I still needed answers and corrective advise. I decided to go to a second Les Schwab and discuss options. To my surprise I was met with the BEST SERVICE I've ever had. Thanks Benny!! All the items I knew we're wrong and damaged we're corrected in mere minutes giving complete validation to my concerns. I'd love to name this individual that totally lacked good sense, workmanship, and customer service but in view of common kindness I will not. Maybe it was just a bad couple of days for this technician. Who knows! Unfortunately I got the short end on this visit. Oh yeah, and I did pay for the one item I thought was done correctly only to find out from the second location that it was not. Maybe corporate can help with that. read more

BEWARE! RIP OFF! LIERS! I'll never, ever take another vehicle to Les Schwab Tire Center at 1635 Herndon Ave. They have lied to my family for the last time. They told my wife that her battery was almost dead and needed to be replaced. We didn't, and AAA checked it for us and the battery was fine. It still works months later. Now, a brake job turns out to be a con job. The "Les Schwab Way" is bogus. They insisted that the rotors were bad and couldn't be machined. Wrong! They insisted that the "Les Schwab way" how they do it, is to not only replace your brake pads, but that the calipers must be replaced as well. B__ S__! I've had brakes done many, many times over the years, and never had to replace the calipers. Let's cut to the chase. I warned them over the phone that I would check this out, and that I didn't give a rip about the "Les Schwab way". I want only what needs to be replaced. The guy on the phone insisted that this was the ONLY way they could do the job. I even told them they would lose 4 automobiles, service, tires, etc. if they didn't do it the right way. They wanted over $800.00 for the brake job. I picked up the car and took it to a great mechanic. Guess what? The rotors were machined within proper specs, no calipers needed. The front brakes still had 6,000 to 10,000 miles left on them. No replacement needed. The job was done properly for $425.00. So, they have lost my business, and everyone I ever run into that mentions Les Schwab, is going to hear the truth about this rip off location. They lied, they lost my business and didn't seem care about it. They put making money ahead of doing what is right and fair for me, a repeat customer by the way... Oh, and they charge over $60.00 for an oil change that any place will do for $35.00. When I bought two new tires recently, I asked them to put them on the front and move the front tires to the back.
