They did - in about 20 minutes and when I realized I'd left my phone there on the charging station I called back (after hours) and not only did Bryson pick up, he waited there for me so I could come get my phone. Service is slow which wouldn't be so bad if Maggie the front of house customer service would have been honest with how long it would take to get us in and out. I realize sometimes things happen but then you update your customers of change but that did not happen, she couldn't be bothered to update us. Instead she lied, told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait to get in. Again, she lied and it was close to an hour to get in and a total of almost three hours altogether. Maggie is also rude and has resting bitch face. Not an appealing person to have answering your phones or greeting your customers. Slow service could have been minimized on the annoyed spectrum had they had good customer service, but Maggie lacked. However, the gentleman working on our car was very pleasant and courteous. Having been a Les Schwab customer continuously for 45 years, I took my mount and balance project to the W. 11th store recently. It was about an hour till closing and no cars in the bays so I asked if they had time to do my job and they said yes. The gal at the counter was very friendly and got me set up. I went out and told the guys what I needed and one in particular starting treating me like I did not know what I wanted. Remember, he was not born yet when I became a Les Schwab Customer. He said "the tires you want mounted are smaller that the old ones on the wheels". I said "I guess that is why we are throwing the old ones out". It went downhill from there. The same guy had to call another store to let me use my account and during the call told them that "I guess he bought the tires on Craigslist". I don't know why that would be a problem, even if it were true. Oh and yes, the tires I was having mounted were purchased at Les Schwab. I guess they made their own assumptions because they could not find them listed on my account. Then they made me sign for the services before I saw the invoice. I noticed when I got home, that they had over charged me. They parked my car on the other end of the building and since they could see I am recovering from surgery, I thought that was odd. I had to ask them to go get the car and bring it back. Then I found an old Les Schwab bag in my back seat. I guess they know now why I haven't bought tires there in over 5 years - only a few services since then. This experience will definitely not bring me back in for tires anytime soon ... read more

I came here for service because Kendall told me I needed brake pads about 3 wks. ago. So I go to the shop here on 11th to have them check it, since I bought expensive wheels at another location 3 yrs. ago. They did a "brake inspection" for $20, then credited the $20 back to me. Probably to show me what nice guys they are. That was 412 miles and 12 days ago they did this service, supposedly. Say 10 days, last time I drove the vehicle was 2 days ago. They told me the brakes were FINE, did not need the pads YET. So I check my vehicle before a trip, like I always do, today. THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR IS BONE DRY! Guess they thought an old lady (almost 70 next yr.) would not be checking her brake fluid anytime soon, so the brakes could REALLY WEAR OUT QUICKER, and need an expensive job with rotors and the whole 9 yards. I always keep the brake reservoir full, so I am wondering how it got so empty if nothing is wrong with the brakes? Or did they EMPTY IT when they did their "inspection"? Does ANYONE know where I can find any HONEST SHOPS? Why do people always want to think that I AM STUPID? I do not WANT TO GET MAD. Jeez, people, enough. Eh, I'm not impressed. Waited almost an hour to get a road check done for my daughter's car. That was ok since the waiting area was fine and there was both a newspaper and coffee. The road check for Les Schwabb is simply making sure the tires have the right amount of air. Surprised at this, I asked if all the fluids were up to level. The man helping me said they don't do that. WHAT? What else does one normally do for a road check? I'm unimpressed. Big shop,no sense of customer concern. Going elsewhere in Eugene. Oh and the second star is for the coffee and newspaper. I have been a Les Schwan customer for over 26 years, but that may have changes with this last visit. I expect that what I am told will happen. In this case there was ONE car on the bays when I pulled in, my first question was could the news tires be installed quickly as I was under a time constraint. "No problem, we can get right on it". I handed them the keys and waited. Other people came in, received service and left. Meanwhile my car sat untouched! After 45 minutes I asked for my keys back, told them why and got a "don't really care" attitude. I drove to Americas Tire Co. and had a new set of tires on my car in less than 25 minutes for less money! Way to lose a customer Les Schwab. read more

DO NOT let them touch anything except your tires! I went in to get my Les Schwab tires rotated, and was greeted by fast friendly service. They rotated my tires; then informed me that my struts were leaking and would need to be replaced. They said it wasn't urgent but would need to be done. They quoted me $422.98 for the service. I thought, well, good thing the Subie is still under warranty! So, of course, with that information I took the car to the dealership a few weeks later to have it repaired under the warranty. I informed them of the problem and waited for it to be fixed. 10 minutes later they came out and asked if I would like to come look at the car. There I was informed that the struts were not leaking at all, and there was no reason to do anything with them! I will never, EVER go back to any Les Schwab, and will tell everybody I know to do the same. To look me in the eye and tell me I need to give you $400 to fix something that is not broken is shameful! If it wasn't for the kind folks at the dealership waiving my diagnostics fee, it would have cost me $100 to learn of the rampant dishonesty at Les Schwab. I remember an older lady in the waiting room with me who was informed of some unexpected problem, and had to call her husband to make sure they had the money. Beware. Third time in six months I tried to have tires fixed at this location. Each time different tires. Third time told they can't fix tire because they were unserviceable and needed replacing. Each time other stores fixed without comment. Today I took my 2014 Toyota Tacoma with just over 30,000 miles on it in to have a nail removed. Was told my tires were unserviceable and needed replacement. Three weeks ago at my 30,000 mile service Kendall Toyota service department told me my tires were good for at least 30,000 miles more when they were rotated. I have used Les Schwab for 40 years. Several different states, locations and owners. First time I have reason to believe I am being lied to for the purpose of ripping me off. My family will continue to use Les Schwab, just not the Eugene West 11th location. read more

Les Schwab as a chain tends to be just fine for what it is. Fast service, no appointment needed to get tires, as long as you're in there before closing, they'll work until your tires are completed. That's why I didn't think twice before taking my car to Les Schwab on 11th when I had a flat. The service for the tires went just fine, which is why I'm okay with paying their higher prices than waiting in line at a smaller local shop. The problem was when they told me my struts needed to be replaced. I was told of the recommendation over the phone when the service desk called to tell me my car was ready to be picked up. While cashing out for my tires, there was no mention of the struts, so I brought them to the cashier's attention. When it dawned on the cashier that yes the recommendation did exist on the paperwork that was in front of them, I was passed along to another representative to give me a quote. The quote was okay, I went ahead and told them I'd like to get the work done. I was told that the vendor would be gone by that time (no problem it was was after 5PM), I was informed I'd be called the next day with the time that parts would be in and to schedule the appointment. After scheduling my appointment, I got a call about fifteen minutes later saying that the vendor they usually use was actually of stock as well. Stuff happens, I wasn't upset about that but what did upset me was when I was told that the original quote may not be honored. Upon more research, the Les Schwab representative called me back to confirm that they'd "price match" the original quote for parts but the bad news was that they wanted to pass along an additional charge of $40 for the freight of the parts! At that point, I wasn't comfortable with them working on my car, let alone paying them even more than originally quoted so I canceled the appointment completely and took my car elsewhere. Tires, go for it! Any other services? Save yourself the disorganization, headache and some money, go elsewhere. This business has been in the area for literally decades; I have been going there for various services almost since they opened. For the most part I have ALWAYS been satisfied with their service; they have competitive prices on all their tires, wheels, etc. I have noticed a "slight" difference in their customer service issues I have had with them since the Patriach of the Les Schwab family has past away; but it will not stop me from continuing to do business with them. He always 'ran a tight ship' and I felt 'special' when I did business with them. That has slipped since he has passed away. Another issue I have had in the recent times was when trying to get service when I pull into the bay that is set aside for people that need to air their tires. A couple weeks ago I pulled in there as I needed to air up one tire. I was asked to back out of the stall and get in behind the car waiting in line because he had had a conversation with her and told her to pull into that bay for airing of tires. O-K-A-Y.. COME ON.. how long does it take to air someones tires 2-4 min or less; so I left. Last night I pulled in the bay to have the air checked/ if I needed air in one front tire. I sat there 20 minutes. I heard a call go out over their loud speaker system for an attendant to go to that area for air for a customer; and nobody responded so I left. I consider this very POOR customer service! My family has bought all of our tires and chains at Les Schwab since we moved to Oregon in 1974. They have also repaired many flats we've had. I love the feeling you get when you get to Les Schwab and the men immediately run, run not walk, out to ask you what you need. I really makes you feel like they like what their doing and they're happy to help you. In fact, they keep running the whole time. Inside the store the service is quick, prices fair and they now have free popcorn. They are the model of customer service. Look some other places might have better prices but I will come back to Les Schwab time and time again because there is no other place i'd buy tires. read more

Our family was in Eugene for the U of O freshman orientation. We are from Sacramento and drove up. The front brakes on our Jeep Commander suddenly went bad. They were making the wrenching metal against metal sound. On the recommendation of a friend familiar with the Eugene area (and a fellow attorney), I took the car here. Coming from out of state, and with repair garages in particular, you feel like a sitting duck waiting to be ripped off. Not here. The estimate was extremely reasonable, and they went out of their way to travel to another Schwab store for a needed part. They were professional, polished, and had the car ready when promised. I've been to this Les Schwab a few times, and they've done a good job and offered good service compared to other shops that I've tried. They have their act together, they work quickly, and their prices are generally good. The only reason I'm deleting two stars is the sales pitch in which they try to convince you that you need four new tires when you really, truly don't. I have a new car with 14,000 miles on it and the guy checking me in tried to tell me that the tires were really worn, and probably couldn't even safely be rotated, and they could TRY to rotate them if that's what I really want, but I'd be better off just buying all new tires. I declined, and they went ahead and rotated the tires with no problem. In the end, I walked out with exactly what I needed at a fair price, but I'd feel better about it if they weren't slimy with trying to make an unnecessary sale. read more

I was a Les Schwab customer in Eugene for about 20 years. You can not beat their service! They have an excellent warranty, and locations all over Oregon. Unfortunately, you pay a premium for this level of service. I have switched to Costco for my tires, and although I always get a great deal, their service does not even come close to Les Schawb. For me, this is a trade off I reluctantly accept. read more

I went to Les' with my RV and a front end shimmy problem. They told me I had a bent wheel and sold me a new one. Left and I still had the shimmy, went back and they tried to sell me two new tires, but I only wanted them rebalanced so that's what they did. Shimmy got worse. I decided to go elsewhere and was told my new front wheel was bent from factory. They replaced wheel, rebalanced and all is now OK. So did I really have a bent wheel when at Schwabs? I got my purchase price back but not my original wheel. That plus all the running around will keep me from EVER GOING BACK there. Beware! Tire store that fixed problem guessed it was Les Schwab that sold me bent wheel from China. I wonder if I'm not the first one they screwed. BEWARE!!! read more

Absolutely great service, warranty and guarantees. Plus they have many locations. Prices are extremely high, though. I hear a lot of complaints about people getting "Schwabed" with inaccurate diagnoses costing hundreds of dollars. I took my vehicle in to get an alignment and they told me they couldn't align it because of bad ball joints and they didn't charge me at all. The estimate to repair them was extremely high and I decided to look at them and possibly do it myself. I also questioned whether they were actually bad because of past experiences. Turns out the ball joints were actually bad, but I could buy high quality Moog replacement ball joints for a fraction of their estimate and install them myself in a couple hours. Saving me the around $1000 quoted. The 4 ball joints only ran $150 total. In the end I'm glad I did it myself, but I would not have known they were bad without them telling me for free. I guess this is an example showing that they are correct with some diagnosis and they don't always "Schwab" people...except with prices... read more

I went to this store yesterday (1/12/2022) to have four new tires put on my 2010 Honda CR-V. I had made the appt. online. I arrived about 10 minutes early. I opened the car door and there was a nice dude (didn't ask him his name) already set to greet me. Awesome service, part 1. He asked me what kind of tires I was looking for. I told him not the most expensive and not the least. Something in the moderate range. He checked some info and then walked me inside. He printed out a quote with three options and explained each one. Not pushy at all. Awesome service, part 2. My vehicle was ready much earlier than I had expected. Awesome service, part 3. Aiden handled the final paperwork and payment. He also added that the rest of my car was in good shape. I appreciated that because I really do try to keep my vehicle in good shape. Awesome service, part 4. First class service. I was met in the parking lot and escorted inside as I explained I only need a 5k tire rotation on our new 2103 Kia. I had called a day or two earlier and was told the fee was $ 25 for rotation service. I waited only 15 minutes while the rotation was performed in a clean customer room to the delightful aroma of fresh popping corn. When finished, they waived the $25 dollar fee and performed the work as a customer courtesy, even though they had not sold me the tires. Their prices are extremely high and when I asked them to meet a Tire Rack price they declined. There is a reason there are no auto magazines in the waiting room. You can't compare prices. I had great service at this location on 12/23/2008. It was almost closing time (or so I thought) so I went up to the door to check if they were going to be open the next day. While I was reading their sign about holiday hours, an employee came and opened the door and invited me in. I had no intention of buying my chains that day, I assumed they were closed or about to be. They invited me in and helped me out, and were super nice. Then about half way through our transaction I learned they had been closed the whole time I was there and helped me anyway! They also showed me how to take chains off my tires. Many places show you how to put them on, but what about removing them? I loved it and couldn't have been happier about my experience there. Luckily I didn't need my chains for my drive from Oregon to Washington that year, but I chose not to take them up on the full refund and keep them around for the next time snowy weather hits the northwest. read more

Have taken my autos to Les Schwab my entire life- will never take again. Started process at the Harlow Rd location- tires had uneven wear. Bought new tires which had to be ordered in, waited 5 days, asked twice if alignment could be done- yes as long as coil springs and not air suspension-- great we have coil springs. Original tires were run flats that came factory direct from Porsche- Harlow rd said no can do on run flats, Porsche no longer recommends. So have to go with different tires. They install and then tell me they can't do alignment. On the drive home I have alerts going off like crazy- the shop filled the front tires to 49 and 45, and the rear to 45 and 44, I call and they say come back we forgot to check final inflation- recommended is 31 on front and 36 on rear. I then have to call and schedule the alignment to be done at their West 11th branch, they can't do it the day the tires are done Natalie's- I have to wait till Saturday.- I ask how long about an hour- schedule for Saturday morning at 930- write it down in two places plus scheduled it on my phone. I get here this morning- first guy says we can't do alignment on Porsche Panamera- I Day but Randy said as long as coil springs-- then guy says- we'll your appointment was at nine- now we have to keep it all day---- this is the worst service I have ever experienced from les Schwab. Will never return with any car that I care about. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I just tried to take a bad battery back for a warranty replacement and they refused without a receipt. Of course I lost the receipt and they want 120 bucks for a new battery. Every other establishment I have used warranties batteries no questions asked without receipts. Oh and their batteries are expensive and poor quality. I have had a similar experience with tires in the past with them too. Save yourself 30% and go to America's tire and get the same poor service and flippant attitude. Bought four new tires that they picked for me....1 year later they are worn out. I take them into Les Schwab and they tell me that they wore out early due to our shocks....why they couldn't tell us that then. Next I bought a 4 year battery from them. It has been three years now and it is dead. They tell me that I bought an inferior battery...THEY sold me the battery! These people were really honest but I find them now to be completely deceptive. We're regular Les Schwab customers but after my stop in today, I felt I should leave them a good review. I had an appointment for an alignment that I missed earlier in the week due to a busy schedule and stopped in this morning to make apologies and schedule a new appointment. They were able to fit my car in this morning for the alignment while I waited and took the time to go over all the specs with me and explain what had been adjusted and why. I have an older Saab, which can be challenging to work on and they took extra time this morning to not only make sure my alignment was corrected, but gave some recommendations for keeping my tires wearing evenly in the future. When I decided to also go ahead and replace my tires, they got that done while I waited as well. As always, super friendly service and we've always had great luck with the quality of their work. All reasons my folks have been lifetime customers, as well as ourselves. read more

My wife and I have bought tires several times here over the past few years and have come back because the service has seemed pretty good. However, today I came to them because a pair of tires on my wife's car were worn out well before the mileage warranty was up. As I pulled out the paper work I discovered that when the tires were sold, no specific mileage amount had been checked on the warranty form. Then when I got there I was told that edge wear showed the tires hadn't been rotated enough and that the middle still had good tread, so no warranty adjustment would be available. Because of the faulty paperwork, I had to take the person's word regarding the mileage warranty on these tires, but even at the low number he quoted these tires were bad after only about half the warranty mileage. I asserted that the middle of the tire was definitely not acceptable, and so I should be able to expect a warranty adjustment regardless of the edge wear. The service rep refused, so I walked out, went down the street to a competitor and bought a pair of equivalent tires at a lower price than Les Schwab had quoted. Their poor paperwork and failure to give me any consideration in regard to tires that clearly hadn't held up was enough to lose me as a customer. However, there's more. When I got here on Yelp to write this review I read another customer's story about being told of leaking struts which the dealer then said were actually fine. And so I remembered that the same thing had happened to me last year when purchasing tires here for our other vehicle. Les Schwab wanted to replace struts to the tune of several hundred dollars, but when I checked with the Toyota dealer they said the struts were fine and did not need to be replaced. So there are two good reasons to avoid this place, their failure to honor a tire warranty and their total dishonesty in regard to recommended part replacement. Stay away! And if you do buy tires here, make sure they mark your warranty certificate with the tire mileage they quote you. read more

Customer of 10 years, but I was mistreated so many times this last week it is sickening! I went in to purchase at least 1 tire, but decided to buy all 4. My car was taken to have the tires put on. I was then informed that they just have too hard of a time removing the lug nuts and they'd really appreciate if I'd buy all new ones because they are damaging the ones they are removing. $60 additional unplanned dollars I paid to help make their day easier. Then they busted one of the lug nuts to the point they could not remove it. I was asked to bring the car back the next day. I made them aware of the time I got off, and was still asked to bring it back. I did. I got home from dropping off my car when a technician called me and told me I needed to make an appointment and was rude, accusatory, and mean especially when he suggested he would be damaging my wheel to fix my problem (which was actually caused by them). His voice was raised, and never once asked me anything just proceeded to yell at me about how I needed to not assume he had time to do the job and I needed to make an appointment. I corrected him and made another appointment for Saturday. When I picked my car up the gal at the desk told me that it was a miscommunication and he needed to order parts. I asked her about what parts he needed to order and she told me parts to fix the problem. I brought it back Saturday and was told between 2-4 hours. It took them 7. When I went to pick up the car, I was told I needed to pay $145.00 for them fixing my problem. I told them I was not paying to fix the damage they did to my car, additionally they damaged my wheel for which they did not mention to me at all. When the assistant manager was brought over they immediately backed off charging me for what they did, but proceeded to tell me they worked 8 hours straight on the car (even though they'd only had it for 7, and had told me they were working on it in between other jobs). They lied over and again, trying to guilt me into pay additional money for their mistakes. They blamed everyone but themselves, they blamed me. They kept telling me it was all just a miscommunication. All I did was trust them to be the same reputable business I had been working with for years. Dealing with them was an absolute nightmare after the first night. I only paid for the lug nuts the first night because while not my fault the guy I was dealing with was honest and kind. But apparently that ended when his work week ended. read more
