This is my local Le's Schwab and they still seem more like a sales organization than a tire service business. Today the employee had very little knowledge or details about the Pirelli tires I wanted to put on my wife's SUV. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I was talking about. My preferred Discount Tire in Bellevue gave me a quote of just under $1600 but this guy at Schwab gave me a more than $2200 quote? And he couldn't confirm details about the tire to assure that we were comparing apples to apples! The ONLY Les S store I will deal with is the one managed by Andy in Bellevue on Bel Red Road. His employee gave me a much better but not good enough quote of about $1750 and actually sounded like he knew what we were talking about. I still bought the tires at Discount Tire. But if you just really want to do business with LS, take the time and effort to go to this Bellevue store as the Kenmore one is really expensive and tends to have clueless employees. We took the wife's car in recently to have her brakes done and get an alignment. The service was friendly as always and it's the main reason I'm a Les Schwab customer. It did take a little while to get the car back, I think 3 days because they were backed up, but it was fine. When they called us to let us know the brakes were done we realized they hadn't done the alignment, so we mentioned it and they apologized and did it before we came to pick it up. The car is now running (and stopping!) like a dream and the whole thing cost about half as much as the dealer quoted. I will continue to be a happy Les Schwab customer as long as the service remains friendly and trustworthy. Their prices aren't the cheapest but I know I'm in good hands when I go there. read more

I really wanted to give Les Schwab a chance and also Headquarters in Oregon however without any response from either (even though HQ promised to call the next day) then all I can do is post a VERY unsatisfactory review - in fact it could have been extremely dangerous using their services. We had our kids car replaced with two new tires and the brakes - pricey but necessary and they were fair with price. When I went to pick up the car we paid and went on our way. Halfway home we were called saying they made a mistake in their payment method and that we had to come back and pay again - fine - odd but fine. The next day my daughter was on the freeway going 60+ and she said her car started shaking like crazy. When she got home she was terrified and we looked at the tire but it didn't look flat. It was odd but we thought new brakes. Then next day (thank god) before we drove it again we noticed that THREE of the five lug nuts WERE NOT IN THE TIRE! This could have been catastrophic to our family member AND how do you not ensure that all the bolts aren't securely fashioned in a tire????????!!!!!!! When I called they were first a bit snarky (when I said I left a message in the morning) but after hearing the issue they had someone come with bolts - we then had to drive the car back/forth for them to make sure driving with lose tire didn't ruin the breaks. Honestly, I'm frustrated that in this day in age its more about covering you a** then realizing you did something really really wrong and do the right thing whether it apology, discount on labor, SOMETHING! But they never apologized (we have the voicemails) and Corporate never called back. To me - if they don't see this as a problem (ensuring bolts are on a tire) then you may really want to check their handiwork if you use them. We can't trust them anymore. btw they commented below my review and said please report this to customer service and we take this very seriously. Dropped off our car for a leak repair and then told we needed to replace the tires. Thinking back, this is what this shop has told me the last two times I have taken a car of ours in for service. Usually resulting in them recommending a full set of tires and wouldn't allow me to see the tire needing repair to see that "the screw is too close to the wall of the tire". will never go to Les Schwab again. I spent $1200 on new tires for my Audi Q5. They came with a 60,000 mile warranty. 27,000 miles later (total mileage under 60k) 2 tires have blown sidewalls and all 4 tires are down to between 3/10-2/10 tread. The manager (Brian) insists the tire wear is uneven and is therefore due to a mechanical issue. In other words, no warranty coverage. I regularly bring my 2018 Audi into the Audi dealership for maintenance, and there are no "mechanical" issues that would cause tire wear. Tires have been rotated and aligned by Audi but apparently that doesn't matter. Brian immediately diagnosed my car with mechanical problems and says the tires aren't the issue so warranty doesn't apply. He was quick to offer to sell me 4 new tires. I declined. What a complete joke. The warranty is worthless. Even if the tires had worn evenly, they still wore out prematurely. (Not to mention 2 of them having a spontaneous ruptured sidewall. ) Les Schwab will never get my business again. I wish I could give them zero stars read more

I came in for a new set of tires and was able to pick up my car within a few hours. I really appreciate the staff at Les Schwab. I've actually never purchased tires from them, but they have serviced my car. The services has been top notch. There have also been times when I had a tire with low pressure and they are more than happy to help me at no cost. This branch has also supported my child's local sports team by allowing us to use their location for car washes. It's great to have a local business willing to support youth sports. read more

Les Schwab runs a very smooth ship, I got a leak in my tire fixed last night and I was in and out in less then a half hour. I was not upsold anything . Plus the patch was free ! I was listening to side conversations with other customers and they really do go above and beyond to help others. For example, a lady didn't need the battery they had in stock due to the cost and the warranty was 6 years , they printed off a list of others that could work for her car sold at auto zone and showed her how she can replace it herself, they didn't push her to purchase but still made sure she was taken care of! read more

No idea what happened to this place, but speed, quality, and knowledge is a challenge to me here. Let me start off with the suggestions for chains or socks on particular vehicles when I know for a fact they're not ever recommended. On these vehicles, only all weather tires or studded tires are recommended. One person was smart by checking the manuals before moving forward. I understand that walk ins tend to complicate the order of everything, but a certain group should be designated to handle them since they can't be avoided. Having said that, I can't believe we had to wait 6 hours to have tires (already mounted on wheels) to be swapped and tire pressure adjusted. 6 hours?! The old crew from 4 years ago and back would have handled that within 2. Also having rechecked my dad's car with the work they have done in the past, and I'm shocked at what I had found, or should I say missing or poorly installed/reinstalled. Super shoddy work if that's what you wanna call it. I was a technician before and people should ask themselves "would I be happy giving this to my mom or dad?"... read more

I've purchased tires here in the past, and I've always had a good experience. What keeps me coming back is the quality of service. In my most recent visit, another driver had signaled to me that one of my tires had an obvious object embedded. I drove to Les Schwab and asked for them to check it out. True, I was there for about an hour and a half, but that's because they had cars with previous appointments already in process. Eventually they got my car in, removed the bolt, repaired the damage, and sent me on my way ... all for free. While I was there, in every single case, the employees were friendly, polite, respectful, and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that all customers were given as much help as they were able to offer, and they listened rather than interrupted. I do not trust this shop with my vehicle. After coming in for creaky noises in my suspension they diagnosed it as needing a strut replacement. After picking up my vehicle one of the employees let me know there was still a slight noise but the overall sound I came in for originally was no longer an issue. We talked about it for a bit and he assured me the main noises I was dealing with were fixed. However, after pulling out of the lot I continued to hear the same exact noises throughout my daily driving. I reluctantly booked another appointment and tried to explain what was going on. After dropping it off for the day they said they were 'unable to recreate the noise' and I was even told again by a different employee that he could not hear the noise when he drove it. I pulled out of the lot again and what do you know? Start hearing the sound before I even get home. Trying my best to be understanding but the whole experience feels shady. Troy was awesome! I showed up about 45 minutes before they closed with a nail in one of my tires. All my mechanic friends told me to come to Les Schwab. As a female who has automotive industry work experience the last thing I want to do is have some guy at the tire shop "mansplain" my own car to me. The moment I made it clear I knew what was going on with my car I could almost sense Troy's mindset shift. I mentioned I was interested in getting new wheels for my car some day and he grabbed a brochure and even helped me look at a few different options. I love Les Schwab the company, their service is usually fantastic, they're amazing at what they do, but I think I have to break up with this location. Trish is absolutely awful and I've been in so many times now that it's not just her having one bad day -apparently every day is bad if you're Trish. Today I got to witness her being incredibly rude and impatient with an old man that was asking perfectly reasonable questions in a perfectly reasonable amount of time. I've complained in the past, my family has complained in the past, the reviews show that we're not the only people having a terrible time with her, and yet... She is there and she is ruining the experience. And it takes forever and they're really bad at giving you time updates; they said an hour; I waited two without a single check-in. Was in a jam as my battery died. The guys were attentive, informative and made sure I was getting what I needed. They noticed I had a nail in my tire and even though I bought the tires elsewhere, they fixed it for no charge. I will be coming here for my tires in the future. Be ready to wait but in doing so realize that it is RARE for shops in the area to take same day appointments, this seems to be the only shop that does. read more

First of all, my in-store experience was fine, no issues there. 4 stars for that. 1 star for their severely poor handling of credit, and not doing what they say they will. I had bought tires on credit from another other store years ago, and paid off that credit. When I came to this store, I was told my credit account had to be moved from the other store to this one(this honestly should have been the red flag to go elsewhere). After the "account was moved", I was able to get my tires installed, and I was on my way. When it came time to make my first payment, I logged in, and found that the site was still showing my old paid off line of credit, and I was unable to make payments. After calling in about it, I was told it would be fixed the following Monday. It was not, and from here on, it was a game of phone tag where at best I was told to come into the store to make my payments(during my working hours of course). After ~2 months of this they finally fixed my account so I can pay online. A few days after I send in my first payment, I get an email informing me that my payment was rejected, and sent back. I'm now in a position to get fully caught up, including the late fees that are the fault of LS, but now my account is disabled. Unless you can pay up front, and will not need to use a line of credit, avoid like the plague. read more

I have been a Les Schwab customer for years after this experience I will never go back to a Les Schwab again. If you can avoid this Les Schwab I would. I needed two new tires which they didn't have. They had to order my tires and stated that my car would be done Friday. So I rented a car. Then my tires were not in as promised. They proceeded to tell me Monday once again my tires did not come in. I ended up getting my tires late Tuesday. It took a week for my tires. The only reason I gave it a two star was because one of the receptionist Cheyanne was very nice but the other receptionist not so much. Honestly, this was a very disappointing experience from the tire service to their customer service. read more

Dropped off a tire that needed to be patched up the night before. Was told I could come in the morning to quickly get it changed. Took them 45 minutes to get my car in. Asked after half an hour what the hold up was, was told they would pull it up immediately, didn't pull it up for 15 minutes. Was quoted it would take 5 minutes to change my tire. 5 minute job, but takes almost an hour to finish up? Interesting and horrible service. Didn't charge me anything, probably because they knew the horrible service they provided. read more

I bought a cheap 2001 Ford Focus recently and it needed 2 new tires. I asked to have the 2 new tires placed on the front and put the old tires in the back because I have a front wheel drive. They only had one tire they could put on the car which was there basic 60,000 mile tire. After the service, they recommended new struts and shocks because the left side was leaking. The lady at the front who took payment for the tires was unprofessional, impatient and not very pleasant to deal with. After I paid and drove off I noticed shortly after that the new tires where put on the back of the car and not the front like I had requested. I made an appointment for the following week to do the recommended struts and shocks so I thought I'd find out why they put the new tires in the back when I brought the car back in. When I asked why, Ray said it's better to have them in the back according to some studies. Strange, when the man who sold me the car recently told me it needed only 2 tires and to make sure to put the new ones in the front. So I told Ray that I was experiencing spinning while going up hill (its a manual) and so then he says maybe you need 2 more new tires in the front to fix that. I just wanted the new tires in the front, I don't understand why that's so difficult. They quoted me one price when I made the appointment the previous week, then changed the price 3 different times during the span of 7 hours. My appointment was at 9am and the car wasn't ready until 4pm because apparently they needed more parts. During this time Ray called me a few times to ok the new prices. It went from 760 to 1200. I declined and wanted to just reschedule and pick up the car. Nope, they were in the middle of it all and were demanding more money. I would have not agreed to such a large repair and needed my car back. In the end, they were willing to do just the left side because the right had already been done before I bought the car. Ray quoted me 650 for the struts and shocks on the phone but then later charged me 950. I do not recommend you take your car here in Kenmore Wa. In fact, RUN! read more

Ladies Beware! One of my tires was leaking air and my indicator would go on every month or so. I took my car in to this location because it was on my way to work. I had four different technicians tell me 4 or 5 different times that my tires were balding and one of them told me I was almost at the illegal state of having bald tires. They did put air in the tire but when I asked them if they could patch and fix my leaking tire, they told me it was beyond repair because it was too bald with no treads and that it would be illegal to put back on. BULL!!!! I took my car again to the Kirkland Les Schwab and a handful of times to the Lynnwood 196th St Les Schwab and they did not mention once that my tires were un-fixable. In fact my husband took it to the one in Lynnwood, they patched it up with no charge and didn't mention once that it was at the illegal state. Because it's NOT!!!! I also had my mechanic take a look and he said they sell tires like mine at used tire stores and they have many more miles on them. I get so peeved when I drive by this location and it reminds me of the unfair treatment I received from them. Maybe they are low on their sales or they like to target women who look like they wouldn't know anything about their vehicles but it is so rude and dishonest! read more

On my way to Chelan with my camping gear & my dog, I Checked in at 20 to 1pm for a pre-trip inspection. 2 other people were in the lobby. Was told it'd take about an hour. An hour and a half later my Jeep was still where I parked it in the lot. I asked what the eta was. They finally backed out another car & drove my Jeep in. I was given an estimate for new tires. I'm still waiting for them. It's 20 after 3pm. I expect to have been here 3 HOURS before I can hit the road. I've otherwise had good experiences with Les Schwabb, but this is by far the worst of any auto maintenance situation. Giving a star back for Jason the manager comp-ing me for the labor. I have been going there for years. Today I took two cars in to get our winter tires mounted. The price for one car was nearly double that of the other. When I enquired why, the lady said it was because I didn't buy the tires from them. Seriously? They charged me an extra $15 per tire. I replied that when I originally needed to buy the tires, they didn't have any. They have now burned me as a customer. I'm done with this crew. Enough games, and upsells. Oh, the tire pressures? Check the muffler bearings? This Les Schwab store is staffed by complete crooks. They overinflated my tires (50 lbs!) which distorted the sidewall and then told me my tires had bubbles in them and need to be replaced. As soon as I deflated them back to 32 lbs they were fine. Les Schwab used to run out to the car and offer great service. Now you have to wait at the counter for 10 minutes to get anyone to help you. They used to do flat fixes for free so you'd buy tires from them. Now they charge $12.78 a tire for that. read more

I went in for new tires and an alignment. My tires were in stock and were changed in a timely manner. It turns out I needed a part ordered before they could complete the alignment and they were patient and thorough in explaining why I needed the part. Once ordered, the part arrived in 2 days (which is pretty quick in my experience), they saw me the day the part came in and completed the alignment. Tires are one of those car owner maintenance costs that always seems to sneak up at the worst possible time, but this Les Schwab location had great prices and even greater customer service.
