My long time Les Schwab Tire Center location in North Seattle on Aurora/99 closed permanently to relocate and consolidate services further north in Edmonds. Overall Les Schwab is my go to because of their availability Mon-Sat, free tire air pressure checks, rotations, and tire evaluations. The latter has been a life saver when I've had punctures from nails and screws and the tires have been able to be salvaged by successful patch repairs. The folks at my previous location have provided peace of mind from their trustworthy and timely customer service. After a routine car appointment at my usual Toyota dealership back on 10/18/25, I decided to obtain estimates for new all weather tires from the Les Schwab in Shoreline's North City location afterwards. I was able to stop by and pleasantly greeted upon entry. After providing information needed to locate my centralized Les Schwab records, I was given a printout of various types of tires based on brand, mileage lifetime, and price. This allowed me to compare prices from Les Schwab versus my Toyota dealership which was very helpful. However, I am a bit wary though about pursuing further service here though after reading through Yelp reviews. It's a wide spectrum from either solid 5 stars to 1 star experiences. Yikes! **Note: This post is solely for requesting on the spot tire estimates at this North City location.** I'm still pondering whether to bring my car back here or heading north on 99 to the Edmonds site (both have 4 Yelp stars). Went there to check my passengers right side tire. The place was packed of cars and people waiting. Nothing wrong with my tire, they asked me to come back if the sensor will lit again. 4 generation Les Schwab customer here. I loved the one on Aurora. For years I was treated with respect and not talked down to but it closed so I went to the one on 15th for a new tire. My wife and I were greeted by a bald dude with a condescending attitude. Long story short, he tried to sell me 4 new tires for 700 dollars without even looking to see if I needed 4 tires. I had come in earlier in the week and the tech said I only needed one. I found the one tire they apparently don't carry anymore, even though the Aurora store did, at another tire dealership. So I bought 4 new tires for 250 dollars installed! This was after he told my my tires were REALLY rare. Ladies beware! Sadly I wouldn't trust that dealership. read more

I'm just honestly horrified how a business can run the way this place does. Me and my family have been coming to Les Schwab for many years and this will be the absolute last time. Our battery to our car had died and we brought it to Les Schwab to get charged, keep in mind that the battery is only a year old (if that). We get a call the next day being told by ERIC we need to buy a new one because the one we have is totally dead and it would cost around $120. We went in with the intention of buying a new one and another employee helped us (won't go into detail about him because he actually was helpful and don't want him to get reprimanded for being honest) and he told us a new battery would be $200. He also told us that we would be better off taking it back to where we had bought it as it is only a year old. So instead of buying a new $200 battery we went back to the other spot (Napa). Come to find out that Les Schwab was really trying to trick us into buying a whole new battery because the one we had was in PERFECT condition. After we found out we went back into Les Schwab asking why they would run their business like this? And rather than being apologetic the Eric guy was legitimately defensive and rude. No accountability. Be careful when coming to this place. They're just trying to take your money. Thank you to the one guy that worked there that was actually honest! I woke to a rusty construction nail positioned sideways though my tire and I wasn't going to make it another day before I would be on a flat. I was panicked and went to several places on a Saturday afternoon and no one was available to help me. Here comes Les Schwab to the rescue!! Les Schwab is as great as it gets. No steaks but quick service, fast, friendly, reliable. My SUV was taken in immediately and the bad news was as expected, I needed a new tire as it was not repairable. I chose this tire center based on the Yelp reviews, booked my tire replacement appointment (plus alignment) online. When I got to the shop at 8am on 8/20, Nick advised that I supposed to have all Run-Flat tries instead of just having 2, so I ended up getting 4 new tires instead of 2. I waited for an hour for the replacement and was told that they're only able to do a visual alignment as the service technician had a full schedule. They scheduled me to come back Monday (8/24) at 10 am which I ended up cancelling. I re-scheduled it online today to come in this Friday! Overall experience here's great - Nick was friendly and sincere. He gave me a fair price for the 4 tires. Charlie's also nice and friendly - he assisted me with the paperwork and payment. I'd like to say this shop will be my go-to when it comes to tires and will probably use them as well with the other services they offer when necessary. I waited 2 weeks for appointment to fix a bad sensor. After waiting 2 1/2 hours they called me on my cell to say it had a bad sensor. Nothing had been fixed or done to my vehicle. I'm not sure why they called my cell, I waited and watch from their lobby all they did was drive it into the garage. Just grumpy now. I couldn't stand it any longer I asked for my keys and left. I thought they fixed all tire related problems. Just crazy since I bought the tires from Les Schwab. It seemed like they didn't really want to do the job. read more

Woof- Bad. I guess they closed the store on Aurora. My store. The good store. The store I've went to for decades. The Shoreline store has the "we are so done" vibe. I made an appointment for a nail repair and rotation. About 15 minutes of work. It took almost half an hour to get the car into the bay. I'm sitting there reading a book, and after about 20 minutes, I look up and see my car back in the parking lot. It's done. No one tells me it's done. I get up and stand by the counter, and several people go in and out past me doing whatever. I start pacing to attract attention. Five minutes go by, and finally someone asks me if I've been helped. I explain that my car is ready. Took another ten minutes to get the keys and a receipt. Thanks for wasting my time. They gave me a quote for new tires, which included a tire pressure monitor system rebuild kit. The what now? My car does not have a tire pressure monitor system. I tried to explain that to the "technician" and he was having none of it. Lame. I think I'm done with Les Schwab; throw them on the pile of "used to be good". read more

I had a slow puncture on a second vehicle that I'd never taken to Les Schwab before. I had read about the free flat repair service but always thought it was for tire or car that you'd had serviced there before. No. I dropped off the wheel/tire and within an hour was able to pick it back up with nothing to pay! They'd replaced the core of the valve and pumped it back up. Awesome value and I'll certainly go there when I have other tire items that need servicing. read more

Twice already I've been there with a low tire and twice have they assessed AND repaired the tire for FREE. And quick too! Folks there are always friendly. I have purchased a chain sleeve from them too once at a reasonable price. You can also just pull up and they'll fill up your tires for ya. Can you ask for a better place for tires?! This was my very first time visiting a Les Schwab location and I have to admit it was worth it to drive out to this visit. I purchased a used car with tire problems and the dealership has an ongoing business relationship. Jerry took care of the problem and was very professional and had me out of there within an hour. The lobby is clean and offers freshly popped popcorn, coffee, a TV with ESPN on it and a few other goodies.. I was also surprised at how clean the bathroom. Stopped at the shop to get a tire leak repaired on Tuesday morning (11/26) and was told the wait time was about 90 minutes. The person at the counter told me I could schedule an appointment on the web site so I went home and scheduled the appointment for 9 AM on Friday 11/29. On Friday I went to the shop at 8:40 to check in and was told the wait would be about 90 minutes so I said I would be back in an hour. When I returned, I was told the wait time was still over an hour. That's when I decided to go to some other shop. read more

Be prepared to wait a long time on any given day or time. After dropping off my car at 10:45 yesterday, I was told my battery would be done at 1:30 so they had time to pick up the battery I needed at a different location and so some of their guys could have lunch. I had told them it was no problem as I had to be at work at 4. I didn't get my car finished until 3:30. They hadn't even touched my car when I had called at 2 to check in. I'm amazed that it took so long to get and replace a battery on a car that's almost five years old. read more

I had a great experience at this location. I needed to stop by the tire shop last week because I had ran over a small nail on my way to work. I didn't have appointment but they were able to quickly fix my tire in less than 30 minuets. Not only were they able to quickly take care of my issue, but to my surprise, they didn't charge me! I know that it's not exceptionally difficult to fix a nail hole in a tire but I don't expect to get any automotive work for free. They are always ready to great you with a smile and will make you feel right at home. They will even let you bring in your service animal while you wait. I replaced my tires at this location recently. I usually go to a different Les Schwab, but this location provides the same high quality help and service you would expect. I recommend calling ahead to make sure the tires you want are in stock. I made an appointment on-line thinking the service would be faster, but I had to wait for the tires to be delivered, and then waited an extra hour to have the tires installed along with the other walk in customers. I had a bolt stuck in my drivers side front tire from driving by machine shop. I called this les swab on Friday night explained what happened. I was told that if they were les Swab tires they would fix for free or it would be a $15. On Saturday an hour before closing my family and I brought car in. We had known the tires were factory owned and not swab tires so we're ready to pay the$15. I noticed the employees were very friendly and talked to customers like friends. It reminded me of how businesses used to be. It had a family run feeling to it. The tire was fixed 25 minutes after bringing in. And we were told no charge, just to think of them if we ever needed new tires. I really appreciate good customer service and if you do as well think of this swab to go for tire needs. read more

Brought my Volvo V40 into this Les Schwab location. I had a couple of instances of my car not turning over, producing a clicking noise, but eventually it would turn over and start. I suspected that my battery was going bad. I had Les Scwab test the battery. They said the battery was fine, suggesting it was my starter. I made an appointment with my regular mechanic, whom I trust completely. My car, unfortunately, couldn't wait for the appointment. I was left stranded with a car that would not turn over. $125 tow fee later, I am told by my mechanic (whom I trust) that it is not due to the starter, but due to A BAD BATTERY. I called Les Schwab and spoke to Jerry, the manager. I explained that his company was wrong and cost me money. He just kept repeating how reliable their tester and technicians were and if the tester said the battery was good, then the battery was good. He now suggested the battery went bad in the interim due to some sort of draw on the battery or short in the system. My Volvo specialist said they tested for any draws/shorts in the system and found none. He stated he was 100% certain that the battery was no good. Les Schwab...WE HAVE A PROBLEM...but hey, it's only your customers losing money so what should you care? Lost a customer for life. Now it's you who lose money. DO NOT RECOMMEND LES SCHWAB TO ANYONE. My mechanic stated that he is so confident that the battery is dead that he will pay to have my car towed to his shop if it turns out he is wrong! Free tire rotation!! The waiting room is a regular ol waiting room. They have water, coffee and tea. I hit the curb with my wheel so they weren't able to fix it. They worked really fast! New tire plus balance and tax came out to $113.53. All of the employees were very nice and helpful! They don't do oil changes here btw. read more

I've been here before and always have thought highly of them, their service, prices, and expertise. But, yesterday I went in for what another mechanic told me was the back, passenger tire. The guy at Least Schwab look at that tire from multiple perspectives and couldn't find anything. When I told him the other mechanic had just rotated the tires and, so, perhaps they indicated the now wrong tire, he patiently and with a good attitude went back and inspected further. In the end he found and fixed the bad tire. When I got up to the counter, they told me it was free! I'm so impressed! They've earned my future business for sure!! Huge rave for the team at this shop. They were so incredibly kind and resourceful in helping solve my problem. The customer service was respectful, personal, innovative and done with ease as if they weren't doing me any huge favor at all. I had been running around all day dropping the car off taking buses to get to work leaving work early taking buses to get back there before they closed and showed up with about 20 minutes to spare before closing time. I knew that the work done would be impeccable and the price was more than fair for the amount of work that had to be done but getting all four brakes done at once was a very costly investment just the same. It was my pay day and I knew the money was in the bank to cover it but when they ran my card it was denied. I called the bank and was told that there was a daily limit on my debit card and they could not do anything about it. The only way around it was if I went to a bank branch and took out cash. Given the distance to the nearest branch and the time until closing that was not an option. With the creativity of the young woman at the front desk and the permission of her manager they ran my card for the amount available within my banks spending limit and let me take my car home, trusting me to come back the next day with the $600 balance. I was seriously ready to sit down on the floor and have a good cry up until that moment. In this day and age it was really a remarkable vote of confidence that my neighborhood Les Schwab was willing to take a chance on me and turn the tables on how my day had been going up until that point. When I came in this morning to pay and brought flowers for them they seemed genuinely surprised that they had done anything short of spectacular. They arranged to have the set of tires delivered within the hour, and offered a great deal on the tires PLUS an alignment. The whole process took about 2 hours, and I was on the road again. Yes, they are that good. I went in with my 2008 Nissan. One tire (they came on the car, folks, I did not buy them there) had taken a nail and was flat. Drove in on the donut, they fixed that up, and also checked all the other tires. Got me in and out on a Saturday in 30 minutes. Me: "How much do I owe you?" Tire guy: "Nothing.
