We have always loved Les Schwab for their great customer service so when we needed new tires, we went directly to them but had a terrible experience this time. We took our car to Les Schwab (Spokane Valley - 15915 E Sprague) on Friday, January 9, 2026 for new tires. The brakes were fine when we dropped it off--no warning lights, no issues. When we picked it up and drove home, the brakes did not work properly, which was scary and unsafe. We brought the car back the next morning and were told a brake fluid line had "ruptured," and we were charged for the repair. What's also frustrating is the conflicting communication: we were told they "do not look at brakes," but they also told our son the car needed new brakes. Either way, the vehicle should never have been released in an unsafe condition right after service. We're very disappointed in how this was handled and we're seeking reimbursement and accountability. read more

This is definitely the Les Schwab I'll be coming to moving forward. They answered the phone immediately, let me know truthfully how busy they were, got me in same day to do my brakes and they were finished right when they told me they would be :) Other Les Schwabs have gave me the run around on time so I've set appointments only for them not to follow those apts, make me wait six hours longer than they promised and not have parts they said they would. I've experienced trying to save money by going to les Schwab competitors. I bought tires from Firestone. I had a flat and went in to have it fixed. They said I'd have to wait a week to have it fixed. I took my car to Les Schwab, they fixed it for free. Yesterday I had a flat with my Tesla. I was close to the dealership and the quoted me $403 to replace my tire. I had it towed to Les Schwab. They warranted the tire. Out the door $0 dollars. I'm never going to get another set of tires from anyone else. read more

I had ordered tires from discount tires down the road and when I had went to go pick them up the sales rep said that they had sold the tires that were supposed to be on hold for me. Being really upset I left and then called around town. This Les Schwab accommodated me immediately and set me up with much needed winter tires same day and also got a military discount!! My car battery decided to die on me in the winter time and I panicked and didn't know what to do. I called Les Schwab and asked if they could help me out and jump start my car until we get back to their building. The conversation over the phone was so helpful and they assured me that someone was on the way to "rescue me". Not even 5 minutes later Jaden came to the rescue and saved my car and told me everything that was wrong with it. Turns out my battery was rotting and if I didn't call sooner my car would die completely. Jaden was so nice and drove behind me the whole way to the building in case my car were to die again. He met me at the building and ran to the door to hold it open for me, he made sure I knew what was happening and what the cost would be. The price was so cheap and it took less that 15 minutes to change my battery. Everyone was so nice and made me feel assured and that my car was going to be alright. Went to this Les Schwab to have a repair on my right rear tire that had a slow leak. The technician removed my spare tire stating it was not repairable and that I needed to buy a new set of tires, but he would give us a $75 credit for each tire towards the new set. These tires are only two years old with little wear or tear. When questioned the technician told us it was the spare that was removed from underneath that we explained has been there forever. We explained again the issue was the right rear tire that we had been adding air to due to a slow leak. We felt the employee was trying to scam us. read more

The attitude of their employees are very unprofessional. we spent 2 hours there this morning. after not 1,2 or 3, but 4 DIFFERENT people told me my tire was FINE all I needed was a rim, I went and purchased a rim for 90 dollars, ( as they reccomended) after an hour of calling around myself with no help from them, I found one. went back to les schwab to have the work done and a DIFFERENT completely uninvolved person(reese) told me I had to pay 200 to buy a new tire to actually be fixed right. since it turns out the tire was actually ruined. somehow all 3 DIFFERENT people didn't notice? mind you the first 3 people I talked to this morning told me they DIDNT even have tires available to purchase! they are absolutely a read more

This is by far the worst experience I've ever encountered just for tire installation. Over $100 for installation for 2 tires. Then they wouldn't assist with a warranty claim that I've done with other competitors in the past takes 1-2 minutes. Didn't even carry my tires to begin with had to purchase them elsewhere. NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! For years, I used to bring all my vehicles to Les Schwab for tires, brakes, and struts, but I stopped using them several years ago because these guys just cannot figure out how to screw on a lug nut without cross threading or over tightening it. I've had to go back to them four different times to have them replace at least one, sometimes two, wheel studs and lug nuts that they had damaged when installing my wheels. I finally said enough is enough and quit getting work done there. Recently my daughter had a flat tire and brought her car to the Les Schwab east of Sullivan because it was close by. They repaired the tire and installed the wheel. A week later, when I was trying to rotate her tires, I couldn't get two of the lug nuts off of the wheel they installed. I finally had to break the lug nuts to get the wheel off. Unfortunately, my daughter didn't keep her receipt for the flat tire repair, so I couldn't show Les Schwab that they installed the wheel and lug nuts last. It cost her $100 to have another shop replace the broken studs and lug nuts that Les Schwab damaged. I don't typically write reviews, but this was the last straw. I am compelled to let people know about my experiences with Les Schwab because if this has happened so many times to me, it has to be a common occurrence for others as well. The problem is, you wouldn't know about it until you had to change a flat tire on the highway and couldn't remove your lugs nuts. Would you want your daughter stranded on the highway because of this? I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER, let Les Schwab touch one of my vehicles - even if they were the only shop in town. If you can't trust a shop to screw on a lug nut without damaging it, how can you trust them with critical components like tires, brakes and struts??? Beware!! read more

I was in last week because I had a "low" tire, the gentleman said, no it is flat, no reading. He suggested I get my tires rotated and get that tire repaired, he did fill it. Today I had an appointment to get this done. Everyone was nice, work was done very quickly. Oh, yes, no charge since we always get our tires at L.S. although these were purchased in Oregon, no matter, still GREAT service. We have been loyal customers for over 20 years. Have had some problems in the past with other locations but this place did right by me. A few weeks ago I bought a car from AutoNation with studded tires, the dealership then replaced them with the wrong size tires for my car. Rather than continuing to deal with the stress I took my car elsewhere, and Les Schwab pointed out that my rims were bent and that my dealership had pulled a fast one on me. They took me into the shop and showed how badly off balance the one rim was. They were also much faster than my dealership, but note that I arrived at 7:30 that morning to beat the lines. My only gripe and reason for a 4 star review was that the woman at the front desk did not have a good customer service attitude, no smiles, and looked at me as if I was inconveniencing here. I've been here before for flat tires or when I need a tire change. The customer service here is bar none. They fix flats for free (If you've bought the tires here) which is a huge plus in my book. I went to this Les Schwab today to have my summer tires put on my car. This involved removing my snow tires from the rims and putting my summer tires on those rims and then putting the tires and wheels onto my car. This was my second trip to this store. The first time I visited, I was told that one of my summer tires was damaged and could not be put on my car. I was able to find two new tires to replace the damaged tire and brought my car and the new tires back to the store. I left my car and several hours later, the store phoned and informed me that there was a surcharge on the service because I did not buy the tires from their store (they do not carry Pirelli tires and I wanted to stay with the Pirelli brand. The surcharge was $170. I did not buy any of my tires from Les Schwab and they have never charged a surcharge for other tire changeovers I have had done. The total cost to get my snow tires put on was to be over $300. I picked up my car and I will not go back. read more

They just put my new snow tires on, and in spite of the crowd (this time of year) the service was excellent. There was follow-through from everybody from Jacob to Annette at the counter. These guys really know the tire business! I am a 30 year customer of this company and the last 20 have been here in Spokane with this branch. Excellent in my opinion. They said it would be about 4 hours to change out my snow tires which are mounted on wheels. 6 hours later I am still waiting. I used to believe the life-time tire change was worth it...now not so much. I know this is a busy weekend for such things but they could have given me a better time estimate. read more

A flat tire on my F-150 turned out to be a complete set of tires. I had some idea this would happen considering the tread life was gone. I phoned the store and spoke with Jeremy about a few options and decided to come in. He carefully explained the options and listened to my concerns. We decided on a set of back country tires. I just had an AWESOME experience with Les Schwab (Veradale)....I'd say the best yet! I was out of town on vacation and an air bag (suspension) blew on my trip. They were able to fit me in their schedule and had it fixed within 1.5 hours. In addition, Bill diagnosed the alternate side, fitted a new air valve and hose, and made a new spacer for the affected side as well as the alternate side...all included in the very reasonably price he charged me. I would definitely recommend this Les Schwab- they couldn't get better than this! If you go there, ask for Bill..he'll take great care of you and tell him the camper lady with the air bag referred you! :) read more

I called ahead and they said it wasn't busy so come on in for snow tires. I get here and there is no parking in front so I pull my compact car in a space to the side of the door. While standing in line the lady at the counter says I have to move my car. I tell her I don't want to get stuck in the snow in the lot in back. She says "You can't park there. Park in the back." (Insert rude snippy tone) I lpull my car around the side and get stuck in the snow. Then they say it will be "a couple hours" which sounds a lot like two hours. I'm on hour 4 and ther are still 9 cars in front of me. Not coming back! Terrible service, rude employee and not good at managing customer expectations. read more

Well my experience with this company started off great. it's winter and I slid on some ice and slammed into a sidewalk. I ended up bending my rim, and cutting up my tires pretty good. I called to see if they had any openings ,they said they were busy but I could bring my car in and they'll check it out once they had time. I was very pleased. I dropped off my car and went to work.they called me at work and left a message saying my car was ready.after work I stopped by the shop hoping the damage wasn't horrible and wouldn't cost me a arm and a leg. I get there and I have to pay 275 I was pleased with that. Than I saw the work they did. All was done was a tire change and a rim change. The rim was a 50 rim. This was unacceptable. I was than told I would have to bring my car back for the alignment. So I brought my car back, dropped it off and went to work again. Again I got a call saying my car was ready. After work I went to pick up my car and was charged another 100 for them just looking at my car when I was told they had finished working on my car. I am very upset with this company and will NOT be bring my business back. I well also be telling all of my friends and family of the service I have revived. read more
