These service manager fixed my rakes, so I thought he did until I drive it away and tried to make a fast stop behind a stopping car! My brakes went clear to the floor!! I quickly pumped the brakes and it started to slowly stop! I had my granddaughter in the backseat and was terrified I wouldn't be able to stop! I barely did right behind the other car! Needless to say I don't trust them anymore! I had to go to my mechanic to fix the problem. Then when. I went back with the report from my mechanic he threatened me that he wouldn't give my money back if I told the Corporate office!! He finally gave me a measly $52!! What an insult!! Please be careful using this particular location!! I've heard other complaints about other locations too! I think Mr. Schwab would be very disappointed if he were still alive,!! read more

Don't come here if you're looking to get a nail taken out and a tire patched. I'm not too familiar with tires and what not but Hannah from this location decided not to service me but instead put air into my flat then tell me she cannot take the tire off because I'm missing my tire key lock so that could not take the tire off to search for the nail. I took her word for it and unknowingly went to lexus to go buy a key lock only for them to tell me that I don't need one because I don't have a tire key lock! Hannah tried selling me used tires at full value before putting air into my flat and since I said I'll hold off on replacing my tires she decided to do the bare minimum. Way to go above and beyond! read more

This place is garbage. They said they fixed my control arms but did not its still knocking. Hillsboro les schawb dont know what they are doing. I think they watch youtube videos to fix cars. $1800 for a crap job on my brakes and control arms & bushings. Save yourself a headache and go to a real mechanic. And corporate office dont care eiher ALL SCAMMERS. $1800 AND MY CAR IS STILL NOT RUNNING RIGHT. IM SUING FOR MY MONEY BACK so i can find a real mechanic to fix all the crap they did to my van. 3 times in less then a year they had to fix my brakes 3 times. When I called Les Schwab, they immediately answered and we're professional and very patient with me as I described my situation. They told me to come down that I didn't need an appointment and that they would have me in and out in 15 minutes. They kept their word. There was a screw in my tire. They did a complementary repair of my tire and I was in and out in 15 minutes just like he said. I had to get back to work so this was really important that they kept their promise on the timing. Stopped to buy snow chains and they were so helpful, even put the receipt in the bag of chains and told us if we doing use them, bring them back for a full refund! Fantastic and quick service. I got a piece of metal stuck in my tire while pulling into the Fred Meyer parking lot. When I got out I could hear air leaking so I knew I needed a patch. I was able to drive my car 20ft over to Les Schwab to see if they could fix it. I walked in and was helped within 5 minutes. They told me it would take an hour so I went and grocery shopped while I waited. It ended up only taking 45ish minutes and it was free because my car is newer. I had a stressful morning after learning that I had a screw in one of my front tires that was deemed non-repairable. I'm typically a Firestone customer but no appointment times were available. I frantically called around to Les Schwabs in my area looking to get in immediately to no avail. Luckily the Tigard store had an immediate opening and let me drop my car off right away! Every employee I interacted with was top notch! Especially Tammy! They were able to replace my tires in just a few short hours and I was pleased that they didn't try to up sale me and even gave me a courtesy quote for a future alignment. Waste of time. I scheduled an appointment days in advance for a simple tire rotation. I've always gone back to Les Schwab because they're nice enough to do tire rotations and it only takes a few minutes. Well I get in at 10am and the woman at the desk tries to upsell me on an alignment. I don't have alignment issues, but I'm going on a road trip soon and think it can't hurt. She then tells me it's $100, which I'm not crazy about but I say okay. Cut to two hours later, numerous walk-ins have come and gone, I'm still sitting there cause the mechanics are answering the phones instead of working on the cars. The guy finally calls me up and says they can't do the alignment because I need a separate service first that will cost an extra $200. No thank you. I'll just take the rotation like I should have from the beginning. If you're gonna try and upsell your customers you should make sure you're not wasting their time first. How unprofessional to try and squeeze me for an extra $200 on top of the $100 service you couldn't perform and made me wait two hours for nothing. read more

I scheduled an appointment a day ahead of time took time out of my busy work schedule to come in for a tire rotation at 5pm. Arrived to my appointment early and the gentleman working the front desk says " it should be done around 6pm." Now in my opinion you schedule a appointment for the purpose having the job done when you scheduled it. What's the point of scheduling a appointment if there gonna make you wait an hour just to rotate tires???? Not to mention I got there at 5 and they didn't pull my car in to rotate my tires until 5:45. What a joke. Disappointed by a employee. Dropped by to get nail removed. A teller took all info and told us to wait 30 min. All of the sudden the guy took info gets off the work. After more than hour different guy shows up, asks what is business as if we just walked in. At that point we could leave or anything since they took the key. We told him here to remove nail and other guy told us to wait 30 min, then he laughs at us first, and told us there isn't any work order for such. We asked to get the key back but they could not find it. After 30 min he literally throw key back at us and told us never seen the car coming in. Went to get a flat tire repaired, cost me 20! The guy called me, asked me to call him back about my tires. When I called he told me I needed front brakes, and rotors. He quoted me 279 for brakes and with rotors 600! What a LIE! I did not need rotors! Got my brakes done for 185.00 from a HONEST shop that don't rip people OFF! Will never do business with them again! I just wanted to express my thanks to a young man by the name of Noah who was not only happy to help even though I caught him busy doing something else. He finished up within probably about 15 seconds da and asked me, "what can help you with?" as he was wiping off his hands with a shop rag. I explained my tire situation (tire pressure sensor needed to be reset and some other rear tire pressure glitch) anyways, he has me pull in front of a bay and and checked all my tires then reset the sensor in under four minutes. No arguing I needed to go inside the store and wait or even try to give me a pitch on new brakes or calipers or whatever. I was outta there. Quick. Friendly. Not overtly expensive. This location in particular is great because it's close to work. I can really say that I've only come to Les Schwab due to low/flat tire fixes. The other day my low pressure light came on so I pulled into the parking lot. As soon as I got out a guy was running....yes running...(ok, or perhaps slightly jogging) his way toward me. Talk about service! I should have said I was just going to the sandwich shop. Tee-hee. Anyways, I explained my problem and they were able to get my car in right away. Not but 20 minutes later or so they noted I had a screw in my tire. They fixed, didn't charge, and I was on my way. This is why people keep coming back! read more

One word, terrible. I went in just to get a simple alignment, and they let me know that I need much more installed and brand new rear tires for them to be able to do that. I agreed only because I work out of town m-f and have no time to do it myself. When all was said and done I ended up owing 1400, for that kinda money you'd expect everything to be good and not have to worry. First thing I noticed were my brakes, they were making a clicking noise on both sides, so I took it back. They the proceeded to put new brakes and calipers on my truck. When I got it back they were still doing it so I took it back again and the tech (noah) that worked on my truck said there is 1/8 inch of play and there's pretty much nothing he could do about it. The brake specialists were trying to convince me with pictures on the computer that theres nothing they can do to stop the noise, isnt that great. So I took it back a third time and had the manager (robert) do it himself. He succeeded and I was happy for a couple weeks. Today I looked under my truck because my truck is pulling when brake. My caliper slide pins had almost fallen out, they were installed backwards! All four pins were coming out and if they had that would've been very bad. This is the manager who did this, the MANAGER! Now I'm back for a fourth time at a different location and hopefully they can get this situated for me because apparently this location just cannot. read more

There's a lot of 1 star reviews so I can tell I'm not the only one who felt this way. Every les Schwab I've been to in the last 12 years has been fast, friendly, and a great vibe. I experienced the opposite here. I had one flat tire, easy fix. No greeting when I pulled up, no greeting when I walked in the lobby. After a 10 minute wait I was abruptly greeted, and told I'd have to wait until the next day to get my tire fixed. I come back the next day to get my tire and was told by Robert I'd have to wait "awhile" to get my one tire put back on. We all know that's fast and easy to do. I told him I'd do it at home because I didn't have time to wait and he took it personally, like I was doubting him. As I paid for the patch he didn't say anything. As we finished the transaction he was rude, brief and didn't say thanks for coming in. I won't return to this location. Robert, being emotionally aware is a standard human function, hope you can figure out why you're so cranky. read more

I want to say thank you to Robert, the manager, who knows how to treat his customers. I had just replaced my tires at this location and within a week or two, my front tire went flat and the wheel it was on cracked on a road reflector. Les Schwab put the spare on and unfortunately I had to buy a new matching wheel, which costs $200. Ok. After a day or two, I stopped in and spoke to the person at the front desk. I asked if Les Schwab could help me pay for the wheel. My logic: the flat tire resulted in the cracked wheel. Had the tire remained full, a road reflector would not have cracked the wheel, and I wouldn't have to spend $200. The person at the desk immediately declined to help. "The warranty doesn't cover that". No rapport, no acknowledgement, no alternatives, no help. You're doing it wrong. I asked to speak with a manager. "I'm the Assistant Manager". I asked again and that's when I met Robert. He did not immediately decline or quote the warranty. He asked to look at the damage. We went to my car and took a look. "I can meet you half way". Thank you! That's customer service. He didn't have to meet me half way. He could have quoted the warranty, or say "tough luck". But instead he did the right thing. I've managed teams and served customers for 20+ years and as we all know, customer loyalty is real, because it acknowledges the value of service and it's rooted in trust. Lesson: Use F.A.T.E - first acknowledge then explain. Also, when there is no direct evidence and plenty of circumstantial evidence that your product failed, meeting a customer half way can be as good as meeting them all the way. Thanks, Robert. I just got home from visiting Les Schwab on 99W. I chose to take my car there because I knew they could do the job. I'm so glad I did. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. When you've got two kids with you, time is precious. Jarred was so kind when we walked in. He knew exactly what the problem was as I was describing it, got the car in and out, and as per their usual amazing customer service - no charge for the flat repair. Dropped my vehicle off today and was quoted 2-3 hours to have tires balanced. I went back almost SIX HOURS later and they hadn't even started, and the employee said that it would be another half hour if I still wanted them to do it. Six hours?? Ridiculous. No apology or anything. The guy that gave my keys back just said "Huh, she must have misquoted you." They could have called and said they were running behind or something so I could have the opportunity to take it somewhere else.
