Out of the blue my tire was loosing pressure. I came in and they filled it up. I noticed when I arrived home the pressure dropped. I went back and unfortunately my tire was not fixable. It was now 4:45 on a Saturday (they close at 5pm). Did they assist and get 4 new tires on my all wheel vehicle within 20 minutes? Yes they did!!! Beto was so helpful and by fixing my car I was able to continue my life without waiting until Monday. I appreciate the team staying a few minutes late to get me back on the road. Asking me for the receipt when the tires were purchased WHEN INRECEIVED THE SERVICE !!! I came here to purchase chains for my car since we had a sudden, severe, and unexpected blizzard. While this location didn't have chains that would fit my car in stock, the employee who helped me very graciously offered to check other locations. She advised me of two other locations that had them in stock, and was kind enough to give me their addresses so I could see which would be more convenient. I purchased both chains and cable chains at one of the other locations, and returned the actual chains to this location after verifying that they were not compatible with my car (per the vehicle's owner's manual). The same very helpful employee took care of my return, and the entire process really could only have been easier had they had what I needed in stock at this location. The interior is very clean, bright, and roomy. There's even a popcorn machine, with complimentary popcorn for customers. Simple, fast and average priced service. They replaced my car's tire in a short time and did it for a more affordable price than I expected.

Went here to get a tire patch and after sitting for 40min I was approached by a tech who then proceeded to tell me because my tires have minor tread wear on the outside he can't patch the tire and actually has to replace all 4 because that's what's recommended by the manufacturer. At this point he took me back to see the tire and then I explained that I just had my back tire replaced and they were not trying to change all 4, I then went on to ask if this was policy and he said no but it's what your car's manufacturer says so we follow it. At this point I'm pissed off and said look here, your in business to replace and repair tires right? So I just need mine patched and your refusing to patch it because it has minor wear on the tire. He said yep! So then his coworker piped in and said it is policy - of course me being me i said so clearly you don't know your policies so weres your manager? So I went inside only for him to tell me the same thing. He did say they do not have a policy but because it's recommended we follow there policy. FYI- I reviewed my manual and the manufacturer recommended areas and the tires only say this "It is best to replace all four tires at the same time. If that isn't possible, replace the front or rear tires in pairs." As you see it don't say you have to just that it's best to. It also say I could replace both front of all four isn't an option. So why didn't I get the option? So overall if you have an AWD car and it has any and I mean ANY bit of wear on the outside rim do not take it to them. They will not repair it or replace it without replacing all 4 tires. They have no justification or policy in place and literally could care less about your needs. They are only trying to make money. *Positive note-I went down the road to another shop and they patched my tire and sent me off in less than 30 min. Without the stress and full replacement. $20 later!!! read more

The guys came out and took a look at my tires, told me I have another 6 months of life. I love the honesty, I'm not just a dollar bill. They told me my tire size and showed me my options, and I have options. I can stay with the meaty type that makes the truck look extra awesome, but not really practical. Drove my truck in for an alignment. After looking it over for about five minutes, I was informed that they could not perform the alignment due to a bend in my frame. Disappointed, I drove home. My neighbor, a service manager for Firestone was outside and I filled him in. He dove beneath my truck, looked things over, took a few measurements and told me that my frame was fine and if I brought it to Firestone, they'd align my front end. We come out running? More like, we can't be bothered by you pesky customers. These people wouldn't fix my tire despite calling in beforehand to verify they would if I got the tire to them by 4:00 PM. I called in to verify they could fix the tire (about 3:00 PM), rushed to get it off the vehicle, handed it to them at 4:15 pm (they closed at 5:00) and they still refused to change it (despite telling me they would over the phone). I was left with a stranded car that had to be towed. Need anything beyond the standard tire service anywhere close to closing time, forget it. I wouldn't bother calling them either. read more

I went in with my 2014 wheelchair van for a cracked boot. They ruined my car. They didn't know how to work on one of these and they messed up the alignment. My steering is off, my alignment is shot and who knows what sort of other damage they caused. I am appauled. Absolute complete crooks. There is no other word for it. Why do you feel the need to scam people? I drove my very reliable and in good shape chevy Tahoe to Les Schwab the other day for new tires. As I'm driving away after the new tires are installed suddenly it pulls to the right and starts shaking at speeds above 60 mph. Drove it back 3 times after a tire weight flew off 1 block down the road, they said they fixed it but definitely not. Same problem exists! Funny how my reliable vehicle of many years now just suddenly is all screwed up just because I wanted new tires. These problems did not exist before going to Les Schwab! I've had multiple issues with this location of Les Schwab, first time I went in asking to have my shocks checked because it felt and sounded like they were needing fixed. They came back after a check and said they looked great, no problems! Got to driving around a week or so later and heard a loud pop and one of the shocks went out. Brought it back and asked them to check again and magically now we needed new ones. Another trip after we had got new tires, went to get the rotation done and they had a 3 hour wait. I asked if they could get me down for an appointment and I was told "Nope, but you can go home and set one yourself." When I finally got an appointment set for my rotation, they said they couldn't do it and that I needed to buy new tires. When I brought up the fact I had just bought new tires a year ago, I got a blank look and a "we would recommend getting new ones". I left that location and went to another one to explain my situation and the fact I had just bought new tires, they were able to order me a new set and work a deal with me to get my problem taken care of. I had 2 batteries for the truck and one of them gave out and I had a guarantee for both of them so I came back and bought explained what happened and the guy at the desk didn't believe me we argued abit then he just said come back in a couple hrs so I left after 4 hrs or so I came back and yes the battery gave out but the guy charged me around 300 for a test he didn't even mention it then wanted to charge me another 120 to send to the manufacturer to see so they were absolutely sure that the battery actually gave out even tho the guy said that he ran a test he said that if we send it to the manufacture if it's actually broken they will return 120 and we sent it off now I'm waiting for the result. Sometimes when I need tires or a car battery I search the Internet for deals, coupons etc. Then I remember why I always end up back at Les Schwab. 1. I talk to employees and I've only heard good reports - one from a person going back to school so he was leaving the company. 2. I like to do business locally and you can't get much more local than Les Schwab and Burgerville. 3. No ticky-tacky BS. For example two years and two weeks ago I purchased a battery with a 6-year warranty; full free replacement in the first two years then pro-rated. The battery failed and instead of prorating which they every right to do they replaced the battery for free. Most tire dealers will warranty the replacement for the REMAINDER of the ORIGINAL warranty. Les Schwab gave me the full six year warranty no questions asked. read more

My parents, whom are in their 80's, came in to fix a leak in a tire. The employee told them a screw went into the the sidewalk. They were told that they couldn't replace just one tire, that all 4 needed replaced at a cost of 780.00. Mind you that the vehicle had only 7000 miles on it. After they told the employees they couldn't afford that they put the tire back on and sent them out , and told them to take it across the street to another parking lot to change the tire. This is an 80 y/o man doing this in the heat!!! After removing the tire, they took it to Hwy 99 tires, bought mounted and Installed a new tire for $46. Came back and put it on for them too. Wow, shocked at poor service at this location. Like everyone in the NW, been to Les Swabs all over and they usually are efficient and professional. But this store is not like the others. I have a 3 year old car finally needed tires replaced. Went in on a Monday and made an appointment for 3 days later to get expensive new tires and alignment. The price quoted was the exact same as the new car dealership but I have had a good history with Les Swab and wanted to support a NW business. I specifically explained the dealership had told me that morning I needed an alignment and I had hit some pot holes hard. Showed up as scheduled several days later but the male clerk on Monday had not included the alignment in my appointment, just the tires. The new female clerk said there was nothing she could do because they were full, but I could come other day. Explained this was on them, not me and I didn't want new tires put on without the alignment. So we started to reschedule. While I looked on my calendar, she went to the back and came back and said, actually it was okay, they could get the alignment done if I was willing to wait. Perfect, again said I didn't want to have new tires put on without it. 3 hours later, tires are on, but now they say they can't do the alignment again because they don't yet have the manufacturer's computer software to reset the lane change software on the vehicle. Wow. 3 yeses, we can aligns + 2 nos we can't = I did not get what I specifically asked for. Of course they aren't going to take them off and put the old tires on are they? They wanted the$1100 sale on those. I specifically and repeatedly told them I wanted an alignment and I did not want new tires put on without it. The time to tell me the don't have the equipment was the day I made the appt or when the clerk said they could squeeze in the alignment. Not at the end. No apologies,no ownership of their failures, no offers to mitigate their mistakes. They provided lot of rationale for their actions (new clerk on Monday, tires wont show wear for a while, I can come back a second time- great idea!, the car manufactures don't share the software for 2- 4 year, everyone else but them) and the female clerk has clearly taken customer service training and kept saying "I hear you" when I explained I didn't want to do it her way, I wanted the tires and alignment at the same time, my way. So I guess she heard, but didn't care? Or maybe they are incompetent or I was scammed? Who knows. Go to a different Les Swab. read more

Driving up with my flat, I took note of multiple "TIRE SALE!" signs, and half-expected to be conned into buying a new set of tires. Nope- quite the contrary! I was helped right away at the front desk, but he said it would be about an hour wait before a spot opened up. During my wait, I meandered over to Hollywood Video across the street. Fred Meyer is also within walking distance. The Les Schwab waiting area is clean, lined with padded chairs, and features a wide variety of magazines, free popcorn, and television preset to a sports channel. My total wait time was around 50 minutes- an employee then called my name to return my keys and sign the receipt. "How often do you check the air in your tires?" he asked. "Not often enough, I guess!" I joked. "Try to check at least once a month" he replied. He had me sign the receipt; after scanning over it & failing to find any charges I asked, "So do I pay here?" "We're not going to charge you for that," he replied, "I parked your car right over there!" Awesome! The commercials are true, Les Schwab employees are super nice and they don't take advantage of customers. This is evident by my experience as well as the conversations I eavesdropped on during my wait. read more

On Christmas Eve, I discovered I had a screw in my tire. I went back to this location, expecting a 2+ hour wait. I was pleasantly surprised to be in-and-out in just over 30 minutes, even though it was a holiday. The repair went quick and smooth, with the technician pointing out a tire that was starting to wear out and asking if I was interested in a quote for replacement. It remains to be seen about my previous review related to price quotes. As a followup to that situation, it turns out that the store doesn't have an ability to reply to written (via US Mail) complaints, and the corporate Customer Service department similarly doesn't address these types of situations. However, a letter to their CEO yielded a response from their executive service team (in this case, Nate). We traded a few emails talking about the pricing concern, and he let me know that I should have asked for a manager on the spot, as they do indeed have the ability to honor mis-spoken prices. As of today, I still haven't heard anything from the store manager (Nate claims they have reached out to me, but no letters or emails were received from them), but it's comforting at least to finally get the response from the corporate office. Although... I feel it shouldn't have taken three letters and their "Feedback About Your Experience" form just to get that response, though. While I will still be cautious about the price quote to ensure no confusion, based on my 12/24/20 visit, I'll be giving them another chance when it's time to get new tires for my car. read more

Les Schwab is a great store with good customer service at times. People most of the time are always trying to help. Products offered are excellent and not much cheap junk. Prices on some items are a little high but what for a sale. I have one complaint and that is when you buy tires you are supposed to get rotations for free. For the last 2 years I have had multiple appointments to have that done but the wait times were still over an hour and w/o an appointment could be all day. So they have never rotated my tires after 3 sets of Toyo's. I do it myself or have Toyota do it. You think they would have a team ready to do that. I know they can because they were able to install my Toyo M/T's 5 mins before closing on a Saturday. I was grateful for the installation but I wish they could just rotate them in less than a hour with or without an appointment. read more
