Oh boy did I get the best service in a long long time. This guy Connor went the extra mile to help me. This is my second time here so I figured you get this service every time. Me being in customer service I expect a lot. And this guy gets 5 stars. He gave me detail instructions on how to clean my pool, the supplies that I need and stopped me from buying things I don't need.

Hello Benjamin-…read more This is Mark and Maria Scott. We would like to sincerely thank you for your exceptional support, attentiveness, and analytical insight throughout our spa purchase experience in August 2025 in Pomona. From the very beginning, your ability to truly listen to our concerns, thoughtfully assess the situation, and provide clear, practical guidance made a meaningful difference in the outcome. Your time, patience, and professionalism are invaluable to us. Even as we continue to work through a few remaining hiccups related to the original Pomona sale, your steady presence and commitment to finding solutions have made the process reassuring and manageable. As we shared with you, while the initial salesperson was nice, there was a clear gap... in understanding... the operational.... and functional... aspects.... of the hot tub spa we purchased. Your knowledge and clarity helped bridge that gap and restored our confidence in the overall experience. We are especially grateful for the guidance that connected us--through Alex in Minnesota--to the Spa Outlet in Brea, California. That recommendation proved to be a turning point, leading to positive results and a much stronger level of support. Your care, follow-through, and attention to detail were evident at every step, and we truly appreciate the advocacy you provided on our behalf. Mark and I genuinely value the partnership we are building with our spa support team and with you, Benjamin. Your dedication to customer satisfaction and long-term service does not go unnoticed. We will confidently and gladly recommend this Hot Tub & Swim Spa Outlet location to friends and family moving forward. Warm regards, Mark and Maria Scot

When they got there they moved the old hot tub onto the grass and placed the new hot tub but said it would be $1100 to remove it because it was too heavy. They refused to remove it for the agreed amount.

I came here with a group of girlfriends for my friend's birthday, and none of us had been to a Korean spa before. Honestly, it was confusing from the start. There wasn't much direction on where to go, what order to do things in, how the facilities worked, or what you were supposed to do if you booked extra services. We also came with one guy and a group of girls, so we didn't realize right away that we'd all be separated. Between that, people going off for body scrubs or massages, and everyone trying to figure it out as we went, I don't think we used the spa the way it was meant to be used at all. We ended up kind of bouncing around, asking what to do next, hanging out in the common area for a bit, and then leaving. The actual body scrub/massage add-on was fine, but overall it just felt disorganized and not very beginner-friendly. I've since seen friends go back and actually know what they're doing -- using the pools, sauna rooms, eating afterward, spending real time there -- and I can see how it could be a much better experience if you know the flow. But for a first-timer, especially with a group, I wish there had been a little more guidance.

A simple 9x18 pool will take them over 7 months to fully complete from excavation (Nov 2025). Your project will not be a priority because all their resources go to their other company, Modul Pools, that claims to "build a pool in 6 weeks or less". If you hire OC Poolscapes, you will have to project manage their project managers to get them to do anything. If not, communication will be nonexistent. But even with me being on top of them, they don't answer calls, return calls, or even respond to texts. Not the owner (Malkiel), not the managers (Michael, Brandon, Jason, Brendan) , not even their assistants (Ulysses, Sam, Bernardo). With 5+ employees in the group chat they set up, it's hard to get a hold of them for any updates. For some reason they also switched project managers on us 3 times due to "company structure changes". First it was Brandon, then Jason, then Brendan. This caused months of delay because no one knew what was going on with our project. Multiple times, I had to walk them through what still needed to get done. There was no handoff or communication internally. Each time a new project manager contacted us for the first time, they would promise to be in constant communication and move things forward. But, the project eventually was put on the back burner again. There have been many missed construction deadlines and tons of issues with them getting permits approved. They tore down two walls in my backyard for access that they have yet to rebuild because whatever they submitted in the permit caused the city to think it was a build to require extra engineering, soils reports, and OSHA permits as well. To this day they are still trying to figure out the permit. Not even the pool build itself needed extra clearances and reports. They say workers will be here on a certain date and then no one shows up. But honestly they don't have anyone scheduled to come at all and just say things to stall and buy time. When you call them out on anything, there is always some sort of excuse. This has literally caused 3 months of delays on their part. No weather issues, no permit issues, just them dropping the ball on scheduling. They also do not take pride in their work. They constantly leave the job site a mess until you ask them to clean up. The tile and grout finish was a rushed and left messy and has since started falling apart (see pictures). Managers do not care to pay attention to the details, despite claiming they build luxury pools. They do not send their in-house workers. They contract the job out to others. For example, I have included a photo of how "their plumbers" ran our new gas line to the pool equipment. It isn't even secured to the wall. There is no way they can be proud of this and put their name on it. I had to call them out on it to have it fixed and secured. Oh and guess who came to fix it? Plumbers in a Modul Pools truck. They best communicate when a payment is due. They will gladly send someone over to pick up the check same day, no problems. But getting someone out here to do work? To them, it can wait. They are also quick to get back to you when you tell them that you are going to fire them and take legal action or file a complaint with the Contractors State License Board. But they immediately go back to not caring about your project after they do a little bit of work to appease you. Look, I know it's a miracle anything gets built in Los Angeles, but it's a miracle OC Poolscapes have built a pool at all. There's a lot more I could go into detail about but hopefully this review has painted a good picture. But with everything said and done, DO NOT hire OC Poolscapes or Modul Pools. I am posting this review before our project is fully completed and final inspections passed. I will not be taking this down. I will be submitting a complaint to the CSLB and will likely pursue legal action as they have practically built us a Modul pool for twice the cost.

I don't usually review parks, but did this time because I knew that this beauty was not getting the flowers that it deserved. Stopped by yesterday evening for a 1.5-hour hot girl walk with a friend, and it checked all the usual boxes. Clean, well maintained, plenty of mature trees, and wide paths that make it easy to settle into a good conversation without constantly dodging people. It has that easygoing neighborhood feel that works just as well for a book club meetup, a picnic date, or a jog if you're in that 5k/marathon phase of your quarter life crisis like my friends are. An unexpected highlight for us was catching skytyping that was announcing Olivia Rodrigo's new album, "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love," which is scheduled for release on June 12, 2026. We were craning our necks for a cool 20 minutes trying to figure out what the message meant and I didn't figure it out until looking it up on Reddit when I got home. Not exactly standard park entertainment, but definitely memorable. Also worth noting, right across the street we came across a full Zumba class happening in a small private studio. Apparently it runs every Thursday evening with a $7.00 cover. If you're into that kind of thing, it could be a fun way to switch things up. All in all, Pearson Park knocked it out of the (local) park. It was interesting enough for me to consider adding it to my future routine and will absolutely be coming back.

There are many large trees around that offer very good shade. There are nice walk trails around the park but I would not advice to venture late at night as some parts of the park are not well lit.
