Y'all I see the good reviews, but they're from over four years ago and I am telling you not to go…read morehere!!! I normally go to Pinch a Penny but Leslie's was closer to me at this time, and they seem to have slightly better prices so I gave them a try. Worst pool store experience I have had yet. There was an old gentleman there that was cranky, and slow, and didn't seem to care about what I personally wanted . I went in to get specific items and had them test My Water and all he did was try to sell me on several different things I know I didn't need. Plus, they didn't have the item that I actually needed . I left and went back to pinch a Penny and told them some of the information the guy had told me and they said that was completely wrong and that it should be illegal to give out bad information They have someone working at Pinch Penny that came from Leslie's and he vouched that they were only told to upsell, And had very little training . I will happily spend a little more money to have knowledgeable and friendly service .

Tammy Haessly is so positive, informative and professional!! Ask for Tammy, she is outstanding! We even bought our salt water system from her when we moved here 3 years ago; she use to work at the SW Cape Coral location. Now we call to see where she is and drive extra to get her professional advice. Thanks Tammy!

BEWARE of this location of Pinch A Penny. We hired them to service our pool. They did not perform…read moreservices they were hired to do. In fact, couldn't tell me the last time the salt cell was cleaned. My husband cancelled service the last week of May 2026. Since they bill in advance, we should not have been charged for June 2026. Which we were. I have called to speak with the owner/manager 3 times. He is never there and will not return my calls...or issue my credit.

I am surprised the location on the parkway in Cape Coral by the UPS store is still in business. I…read morehave dealt with unprofessional people in my life but the lackadaisical attitude of this employee just blew me away. I will keep this short. I use their liquid chlorine jug program and have never had any issues until the last trip. I routinely get 4 jugs refilled, store them in the garage. I got home, unloaded them onto the floor, later that night I was in the garage and smelled a "clean" smell. I didn't pay attention; my wife uses bleach on the whites when she washes. The next morning, I was back in the garage and as I started walking towards the jugs the smell got stronger. I looked down and saw that the jug had slowly leaked onto the floor. I took it and placed it on a concrete bench out by the pool. That jug was the first jug I started using, it also leaked onto the bench. Today, 7/9 I took only 3 jugs to get refilled. I had purposely written with marker, "hole in jug" to make sure I didn't get the same jug. The black-haired employee after I told him what transpired with the hole in the jug and wanting to exchange the defective jug with a "new" one, I would have to pay 10 dollars for a "new" jug. I explained the situation again and his was response was the same thing. I will NEVER use that business again, I should have looked at the reviews and gone elsewhere for my business. I just filled my 2 jugs, paid and walked away. As I was reading some of the comments the only replies Pinch A Penny sends are on reviews that are positive. I wonder why....
