My husband and I are fairly new owners of an 8' x 8' x 8' x 8' hot tub. We didn't feel we were given very much information about the care of the water from the seller who is a 45 minute drive from our home anyway, so inconvenient. We went right down the street to Leslie's in Gastonia where Luke spent a considerable amount of one-on-one time with us to learn as much as he could about our struggle with keeping the water clear and the tub walls clean. He did not over sell us on products, simply sold us the basics of what we needed to start "ground up" by draining the pool, cleaning the walls and starting over with the water using the education he gave us that day. He asked us to come back in with a water sample so that he can test it and at that point will be able to begin suggesting specific chemicals and cleaners our tub/water may be in need of rather than just randomly sending us home with an assortment of things to try. I find this more economical than someone selling a whole bag of things that may or may not work plus Luke makes us feel like he wants to build a relationship with us that will be on-going. The other associate that day, Wolfe, engaged in the conversation as well and was also very nice and helpful. The hospitality they both showed that day and the attention to detail they demonstrated as well as launching us into an great educational tutorial about our tub is going to make us life-long customers of Leslie's in Gastonia, NC ! I absolutely love it ! Every time I come I'm always greeted & get everything done in a timely manner. Especially one employee in particular, Jada. She always welcomes me every time I come in the store, and majority of the time already know what I come into the store to get. She is an amazing person & a extremely hard worker. And her personality and determination is what makes Leslie's Pool Service the absolute best. I have to say that the guys at Leslie's Pool on Franklin Blvd in Gastonia are hands down the best. Luke and Mark have been extremely helpful in getting our pool chemicals adjusted. It's such a seamless process - you bring your water sample up, the guys check it and print a report that gives you detailed instructions on how to achieve perfection. My first visit to Leslie's Pool Supply in Gastonia at the Franklin Square Shopping Center was excellent! I was having major issues with my 'older' pool vacuum, and Leslie's had all the parts that I needed to purchase, and Wolfe kindly installed them / rebuilt my pool vacuum completely free! My pool vacuum, which originally cost me almost $700 years ago, is as good as new now, at a pittance of the cost of a new one. I'll be back!! read more
