Over priced pool store. This chain of stores always has new stuff and just wondering what's going on in that store. Some of 'employees are very rude and sarcastic. Maybe that's why they always have new faces in their Leslie's pool stores. At one time the Centennial store they had great people and after few months or so all of them were gone and they had only one woman in their store that day and I asked her to where's the good stuffs and she just smiled. read more

There were many locations to choose from to write this review. I chose the Buffalo store because the manger there has been the most professional of all the managers at all locations. However this review is specifically for the district manger named Ryan Alexander. I'm so impressed by him. Not only does his professionalism exceed my expectations, he has been able to turn a bad situation into a positive one. Service techs, named Jason, Fousse, and Daniel, exhibited exceedingly poor professionalism. Daniel was the worst. He yelled at me and blamed me me when he spilled primer on my new pool pump. When I tried to use my cell phone to video tape the ruined pool pump, he tried to prevent me from doing so by trying to knock my cell phone out of my hand. He told me I had no right to video tape it. On another occasion, I had asked Fousse to leave. He put a big scratch on my digital pad of my new pool pump. Then he kept saying really dumb things. He finally left very angrily. He stayed in front of my house afterwards for at least 30 minutes, and kept waving and blowing kisses at me. I guess you could say he was harassing me. And Jason, well, he was very nice, just not too sharp. He also installed a damaged pool pump. I think he dented it when he was trying to install it. Then he wouldn't correct it with at least some spray paint. Overall the installation of a good pool pump was quite fortuitous. Then enters Ryan Alexander and Ruly. As you can see, I left 5 stars for Leslie's because of these 2 men. They were amazing. I don't say that lightly. They were both very professional and very knowledgeable. I received a new pool pump that was beautiful and functional. Ruly was so intelligent and tried to teach me how to set it as it is all digital. He wasn't impatient with me at all. He is a very smart person that I appreciate. As far as Ryan Alexander is concerned, there are simply not enough words to express my gratitude and appreciation for his patience with me and his innate ability to turn a negative into a positive. He is indeed an excellent manager who possesses great skills in solving problems. He is kind and professional. He is one of those people that when you finally meet him, you know that he cares. He was and is an amazing human being. I'm glad I met him. And I'm glad he was born into this world because he is an asset to God's plan of doing good to others. I don't have enough words to thank him for his effort. Hopefully, their supervisors will read this review and understand how valuable these 2 men are to the company. Not many people can turn a negative situation into a more than positive one. Look at our politicians! So thank you Leslie's for hiring them. I'm honored to know that people like these 2 men are still around in this messed up world. read more

We are trying to do all of our service ourselves due to the fact that finding a pool service company that does a good job has proven to be impossible. Pentair Pressure gauge price at Leslie's $45... online at other pool supply companies (same product $20) with 2 day shipping. 4 Pack of Clean & Clear PLUS 420; 105 SQ.FT. Cartridge Filter Element at Leslie's $340 and up plus tax... but online at another company $152 (including 2 day ship & quality product made in the USA). Long story short, if you plan your pool needs you can SAVE BIG TIME avoiding the price gouge and the rock star clerk attitudes by shopping elsewhere online. read more

I moved to Vegas about 1 year ago and have been a customer there for about 1 year. I went there on Saturday 3/12/16 to have my water tested & to buy pool supplies. I was the only customer in the store and the clerk was in the process of testing my water. Just then, another customer (customer # 1) came in and picked up a pool sweep to buy. The clerk stopped what he was doing with me, turned his back on me (with no explanation to me) & proceeded to wait on customer # 1 with the pool sweep. He never said: Excuse me; I have to take care of this customer first, nor offered any explanation at all to me. Customer # 1, however, felt bad and said to the clerk: I don't want to go ahead of anyone; he (Meaning me) was here first and u were waiting on him. The clerk (with his back to me) proceed to offer an explanation to customer #1, which he never offered to me. The clerk said: we only fit the people here for water testing between the customers here to buy things. (More or less meaning: we don't care about your (meaning my) business; we cater to paying customers and I'm only testing your water for free; can't make any money off you. The reality was that I was having my water tested, but was also there to buy a bucket of chlorine tablets (was out of) which cost about $70.00, plus Perfect Plus which is about $40.00; so, I was to spend over $110.00.). Anyway, customer # 1 didn't have his rewards number so, the clerk proceeded to try this name, another name, then, a telephone number, log his points, ring him up, get his receipt, etc. This took a long time; more time than if he had finished doing my water test. Customer # 1's item came to about $13.00 or $14.00. Then, while the clerk was doing this, in comes Customer # 2. Customer # 2 gets a bottle of some chemical and the clerk proceeds to wait on him. Again, no explanation to me. This is where I proceeded to leave. My concern was: What if customer # 3, or customer # 4 came in? How long would I be waiting? The clerk waited on these 2 customers and made about $35.00 & lost my sale of $110.00, plus all of my future business.
