Geoff, owner and operator of Majestic pool and spa, responded immediately and came across as a very nice individual who was extremely accommodating. He was able to come within 2 days to close my pool. I am beyond impressed with his communications skills and appreciate the fact that he is always available to discuss my needs in a very genuine and sincere fashion. I already scheduled the opening for next year with him, as it was truly a no brainer. After all why not? He was there for me when I needed him and his price was even more affordable then the company I was using for 19 years. I cannot recommend Geoff with more passion or vigor, he absolutely earned it, Thank you my good and new acquired friend.

The lead guy suggested we can continue to enjoy the pool as it was a gorgeous pool day and said it was no problem for them to come later in the afternoon. When they failed to show up I contacted Gardner who was as rude as I ever heard him not only to me but to my wife as well, denying his employee ever said that, and as a result of the delay he was not able to come till 3 weeks later. My wife who usually never get involved with contractors simply could not bear to be subjected to his abuse and grabbed the phone to verify what we both heard earlier from his lead guy, after all if we were led to realize that it would have delayed the closing by 3 weeks we clearly would have got out of the pool and let them close it. Gardner's vulgar voice overpowered my wife's and he eventually hung up on us. What an incredible customer service oriented act. Needless to say I regarded this incident as the last encounter with this company. In short to sum things up, I strongly advise anyone to refrain from subjecting yourselves to this horrible abuse. Stay away from doing business with Gardner and LGB.

I really appreciate being able to depend on the guys at LGB to help me out when I call with a problem. During that time, I was told by their salesperson I could change the door style, and I have emails confirming this. Later, they refused to honor that agreement and only offered to cover 50% of the cost, leaving me to pay for installation. After weeks of back and forth, I had no choice but to file formal complaints with the BBB and the CT Department of Consumer Protection. Poor communication, poor follow-through, and a lack of accountability. I would not recommend them.
