I needed 240v outlet for a Level 2 EV car charger. Kevin gave me a fair quote. He scheduled the work really soon, which is what I wanted. He reviewed the requirements that I gave him and discovered that I was requesting an ungrounded outlet for an ungrounded charger, which is a much higher risk situation. I cancelled my Amazon order and got a better charger for just a little more. I am very happy with the installation. My car charges lightning fast compared to the 120v solution I had before. The installation looks professional and high quality. I feel safe that there are no risks. I would definitely use this company again for changes to my electrical system. read more

Kevin came by today. I had 4 jobs to be done. Rewire a 3 way I had not wired correctly. Install a Ring Video Motion Light. Hardwire a CO detector. Fix a light in the guest bathroom. Very easy to schedule, communicate with in advance via email and the Yelp app - I felt like he came prepared for the work, based on what he learned by requesting photos of my electrical panel. While at our house, he was friendly, warm and easy to have around. Zero concerns. Pricing was very fair. In the past, I have been rather suspect about the prices/markup electricians charge for parts like breakers and wiring. With such a small project, on semi-short notice, I was bracing to pay a premium for the visit and parts - but I was pleasantly surprised by Kevin's pricing as well. Very fair. While I'm rambling incoherences into Siri, I would also like to add that Kevin was not only a pleasure to work with, he was also the only one of three electricians I contacted via yelp who made themselves available to do this work within 72 hours notice. Of course, everyone's schedules are different - but the other two highly rated companies I contacted did not offer alternative calendar options, they simply declined the project citing their availability for a Monday project. If they didn't have availability, suggest alternate times, if they didn't want to do the project, because they don't install energy monitors, tell me they don't perform that work.
