We went on a Friday night and there was live music with a guy and a guitar singing cover songs. We really enjoyed our food, the drinks, and the service. Great find on Yelp! My Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful (not fishy). My strip steak was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. My wife had the prime rib sandwich, which was perfectly cooked at medium rare and the thin cut fries reminded me of Houston's. I highly recommend this restaurant in Haslet. This is a must visit restaurant in Haslet. With tons of restaurants in the Presidio and Alliance area, you have to be outstanding to compete, and LeTara Grill doesn't disappoint. My wife tried this restaurant with her quilting friends and couldn't wait to take me there. She's had the crab cakes and the mahi fish tacos, I've had the homemade veggie burger. Everything we've tried so far has been excellent. The service from our waiter was attentive but not overbearing - a perfect balance. I can't wait to go back and try the Tres Leches dessert!! We tried LeTara today after church. The atmosphere is clean and classic but the treat is the charm of the staff which evidently aim to please! My daughter had the French toast which was supposed to come with a pork side of bacon or sausage. When the manager found out we do not eat pork he came by and offered our choice of chicken strips grilled or fried at no extra charge. A class act! Now for my meal I was not completely happy with the taste although the presentation was excellent and I was offered whatever I asked for to make it better. I had the fish tacos which today were made with mahi-mahi. Usually I like mahi-mahi but today it was off tasting. The slaw was a too small portion and I was not liking the addition of peppers to the slaw. The guacamole had too much lemon for my taste. My favorite part of my meal the rice and black beans. I honestly would come in and order that by itself. The menu here has many options I am definitely willing to come back and see if we can get this review up to a 5 Star. I would recommend! read more

I really enjoy this restaurant. I originally visited when it first opened, and had a poor experience overall. However, since then they have really stepped it up and are a great place to eat. Food: I've tried the salmon and a grilled chicken sandwich, as well as their French toast when I went for brunch. All three were really good, and I would definitely recommend them. Service: On my first visit, it wasn't great. Again, complete 180 on my last few visits and the staff has really been fantastic. Just the right amount of attentiveness, without being bothersome. Decor: It looks really nice inside, especially the bar area and the restaurant is always clean. The booths and chairs are also comfortable. Nice restaurant addition to the area. We look forward to returning in the future. We started off with the crab cakes (special for the day) with a salad for the side. We really enjoyed them. We paired this with a couple of Chardonnay wines. My wife ordered the cedar plank salmon and was pleased with it. There was a little of it that was under-cooked to her liking but overall she was pleased. She especially liked the butter mashed potatoes that she paired for the side. I had the skirt steak medium rare (something that I usually would never order out at a restaurant) but I had read some prior reviews and decided to give it a shot. It came out about as flavorful and juicy as I have ever tasted for that cut of meat. I am really happy that I tried it. I paired this with the Buena Vista, Count Founder's Red and it accompanied it nicely. I added a salad (the shallot vinaigrette was amazing), and a side of broccoli. The broccoli was served a little firmer than most would like, however, I appreciate a little more crunch and I was perfectly happy with it. Our daughter had the Calamari and liked it very much. Lastly, we split the Key Lime pie and found it very refreshing. We will definitely be back to give the weekend brunch a shot! read more

Great new addition to Haslet. Ordered bbq chicken, ribs and chicken enchiladas. Everything was delicious and service was great!! Chicken was smoky yet moist, bbq sauce was flavorful. Husband had ribs and coleslaw....both were great and nicely priced. Enchiladas were good with chef's enchilada sauce....could have had little more snap but good. Decided to get key lime pie....delicious and mounded with whipped cream....plate had garnishes of lime zest. Delicious and great end to the meal. Restaurant lighting was a bit bright....easily fixed with dimmers. Area residents should definitely support this place!! Yum!!! read more

This place in my 2 visits has been the absolute worst-- today i spent 91$ on brunch and it took 2 hours, find another place please. I am a business owner and i couldnt imagine being the owner of this place and thinking that its good enough. Food is not bad but imo its so much more than food. I will NEVER be back and honestly hope that they fail completely. There are many small businesses struggling and i only want the ones that have a clue to get out of this mess covid has put us in!!!!!! This is a hard review to write because there are a lot of things I do and don't like. The space is split with the kitchen in the middle, which I think is a good way to keep it more quaint. But there wasn't any music so it was actually uncomfortable to talk because everyone could hear everything. It kinda felt like a cafeteria with how bright the lights were and how the booths were set up. The server was young and seemed like he was inexperienced. We ordered wine and both of ours tasted like they had been opened then sat for too long. We ordered the salmon and medallions with potatoes and Mac and cheese. It was good! There wasn't a lot of food and we waited awhile to get it so we were very hungry. I didn't get my mac and cheese until I had already eaten the rest of my meal. The food was very good, so we got dessert because it was our 5 year anniversary and we went there to celebrate! We got the cheese cake and it was good like normal cheese cake. What got me was the bill. Oh my gosh. I can't believe my bill was over $100. For the experience we had, $100 seemed to be extreme. We go to 5 star restaurants and spend about the same, but feel like we are fine dining. This was not fine dining. We left there feeling like we threw money away and spent our 5th anniversary at the wrong place. I doubt we will go back simply because the price doesn't match the experience, but the food is very good. read more

However, employees were so overwhelmed by the thought of a "rush" that it turned out to be a subpar experience. The food was nothing to rave about. The choices are very limited, which is not a big deal. However, when there is a small menu, I expect for everything to be great. The vegetables were not good at all. The desert was also bad. Had the key lime pie. A server can make or break a meal. In some cases, a great server will redeem an experience. Unfortunately we had to break our server from his daze and beg of him to engage with us (he never gave his name or said hello). All in all, this might be a decent place on a normal night but this surely can't become our local favorite that my husband hoped for. read more

Thank you for the great service! Between all of us we enjoyed calamari and trout dip (awesome) to start. Visited here on 10/21. I got the scallop salad. There was a mishap where they prepared it with nuts which were not mentioned on the menu & I am allergic to. Luckily, I visually caught the error before consuming the food. The server was extremely apologetic & they made me another salad. I do think the manager should have also came out to apologize for the error as it could have sent me to the hospital. Unfortunately, a lot of establishments don't take food allergies serious.
