Black Sesame Milk Tea with Boba

Flavorless and disappointing boba. I ordered DoorDash from here since I was craving boba and it was nearby. However, regret paying premium for this. I ordered the Black Sesame Milk Tea and it wasn't good. I ordered it with oat milk and it just tasted so milky. It was flavorless and I couldn't taste much black sesame. I spent an additional $1.50 for black sugar boba to be added and while the texture was good, it wasn't flavored at all. They just put regular boba without the black sugar. It was so flavorless as well. The portion size and amount of ice was good, but that doesn't mean anything when the boba itself isn't good. I would not reccomend this boba shop to anyone unfortunately as it was below decent.

Stopped in after shopping in the Beverly center. Small shop but good amount of options. Staff were quiet but friendly and efficient. Drink was good. I ordered the passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly- I like that the tea had fruit in it too. Overall a good mall option.

Was surprised that there was a boba shop in the Beverly Center since there aren't many in this area so I had to go and try. I ordered the original Let's Boba milk tea and was very impressed with the taste! Smooth, creamy, and not too sweet for having no modifications. Just the way I like it. Definitely would go back. It also had a nice vibe and gave us a good break from shopping.

After trying several boba spots in the area, this is the best so far! It's located in Beverly Center so it's a nice treat while shopping. Easy self-service ordering. Drinks came out fast. Clean & spacious interior. As soon as I saw black sesame milk tea on the menu, I was sold. The drink was yummy! Brown sugar boba was flavorful, soft & chewy. I do wish there was more tea to balance out the sesame & milk. My boyfriend got the brown sugar milk tea that comes with brown sugar boba & he really enjoyed it as well. Just the right amount of brown sugar / sweetness. Oatmilk & almond milk are offered as milk alternatives. Would be nice to also have soymilk & low fat milk. Will definitely return to try other drinks like the taro milk tea :)

Best boba I've had in a while. We got their Oreo and brown sugar milk tea and they were both really good! Check them out!

Friendly staff and very quick service. Drink also tasted great! I got the watermelon green tea with lychee jelly because I was craving something light and fruity.

    4. Strawberry Green Tea

Went to this boba place last week, I ordered Chocolate Cream Cheese and got Strawberry Green Tea for my friend. Both drinks were really delicious! I love that their cheese foam is cheesy and slightly salty which balanced the drinks perfectly! The boba was soft and chewy, just the way I like it! Their fruit teas are on top too, I have also tried their Lychee Lemon Green Tea which is super refreshing! It's my favorite in the fruit teas! The shop itself has a nice vibes and have plenty of space to just chill and take pictures! Definitely worth visiting if you are a boba lover!

I got the Daisy Chains limited edition flavor, as well as the apple cider donuts flavor from the September apple series. They both complemented each other fabulously since the Daisy Chains flavor has pink frosting and sugar cookies in a vanilla base, whereas the apple cider donuts flavor has a lot of cinnamon and some caramel adorned inside. I also have routinely skipped out on their waffle cones -- a crime because they taste superb and smell even better. It holds a surprisingly generous amount of ice cream and doesn't melt so long as you stay inside or are not in hot weather.

Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

They have so many locations and only wish they had more. The closest to me is about 20mins away but it's worth the drive every time. I love this location especially. They give you tasters on silver spoons and you drop it down this hole when you're done. It's literally their culture to give you a taste of everything on their seasonal menu so don't skip out on this experience. It's the best way to try their ice cream. FUN FACT: they also have 1-2 flavors that are considered "last chance" flavors which means they are about to run out so get it before it's gone. Each month I go in to try another tasty flavor and it never disappoints but I am sometimes that girl who tries the new stuff but ends up getting her usual order (chocolate brownie) and am always happy. Just the smell of sugar cone alone when you walk in gets you hooked. The atmosphere is just so welcoming. Don't be intimidated by the many flavors to choose from because there are a lot. I like to get their double scoop in a waffle cone, but they also have awesome split scoop options for those more adventurous and want to try multiple flavors in one scoop.
