It also had its engine light turn on two weeks after I bought it, and both the headlight and taillight went out as well. During my test drive I noticed the truck was "pumping" to a stop when i used my breaks meaning the rotor was warped and Carlos blamed it on the bumpy road. I knew he was lying about that but didn't realize the full extent of how bad the truck was. Carlos doesn't return my calls anymore, he's a very shady salesman and runs this dealership with his partner. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

There was no hours of haggling and going back and forth wasting the most precious currency that we can never get back, which is our time. I got a great deal on the car i purchased and could not be happier, I wanted to make sure the car was in the condition that was claimed as it was my first experience with this dealership, and he agreed to allow me to take the car to a mechanic to have the car inspected. There were no issues with the vehicle just as he told me, mechanics went over it for about an hour and a half and even told me of new parts that he had gone out of his way to replace so the car would be at peak performance. I purchased the car right after the mechanic double checked it to tell me everything he said wad correct! I was very worrisome about buying a vehicle after the last dealership I had gone to, but JR is an honest and good man and I was relieved to be in good hands with the cars condition, I got my title in a very timely manner. Some used car dealerships will sometimes do shady business and lie to you about the status of your title coming in but that was absolutely not the case with Caribbean Motors. They also offer their mechanics to service your cars for good prices and he gave me someone who could program a spare key for me at half the cost of the dealership! I could not have asked for more and could not be more happy with my vehicle, I have since told all of my friends to shop with him. Great dealership!

I previously paid $145 in December 2025 for the same one which I thought was expensive then. He explained the rising cost of labor and parts. I declined and went to Firestone for their Full synthetic oil change and was charged $98 with a $25 coupon plus I received an additional $25 Mastercard gift card. I looked into what I paid on my other cars for their oil changes. My 2020 Dodge Ram, I paid $80 for my oil change in April. My 2014 BMW, is $199 for three oil changes on promotion and My 2012 Honda is $80. Due to this absurd quote that Hendrick quoted me, I asked several of my friends and family what they pay on average and no one has paid over $100. $185 is concerning, considering when I purchased the vehicle in 2020, I was paying $99 for oil changes. That is a 187% increase!!!
