    I tried to purchase a car over there and was looking at another one at another dealership too. The other dealership (that was owned by the same owner) gave me a better deal. We were down to $500 and Lexus would not negotiate any further. The awesome salesman (Kelvin) tried really hard to get this done for me but apparently the finance manager would not budge. Im really sorry that Kelvin did not get this sale as he worked really hard on it. I did bring my new Lexus over to the technology department the day after I purchased my car from the other dealership and I would like to give Amber a 5 Star review for her helping me. She is a sweetheart and showed me so much on my car. I really appreciate her and she deserves the 5 Star Review. Please give this to her, I could not make a 2nd review on this.

That introduction likely says enough, but I would not recommend you bring your car here for service. In June, Compact Car Service replaced the front axles on my 2014 Honda Civic, a car that has an automatic transmission. However, instead of installing axles meant for an automatic transmission vehicle, they installed axles meant for a manual transmission vehicle. I had two different shops diagnose this same error, including an actual Honda dealership. As a result of the wrong axles being installed, my car was completely destroyed, I broke down on the side of the road in a different state and had to have an entirely new transmission installed after having the car towed back to my house. This was an extremely expensive and time-consuming endeavor. I had been taking my Civics to Compact Car Service for seven years prior to this error with only good things to say, and I completely understand that mistakes happen. The most egregious part of the entire experience was their response. When I reached out to Compact Car Service informing them of the error, they informed me that there was no possibility they could be responsible and would take no steps to even look at the car or acknowledge the possibility. Since they would not acknowledge any possibility of wrongdoing, I was forced to file a lawsuit. Compact Car Service, I imagine through their insurance company, brought a team of lawyers to argue that no wrongdoing had occurred. Fortunately, the judge agreed with the findings of the other mechanics, and they were obligated to make a $5,000 payment (an amount that does not come close to making me whole, but at least it's done now). If you come here, hopefully nothing goes wrong with your car because if it does, it will be a six-month legal battle and extremely expensive to get them to take any form of accountability. I imagine someone from the company will contest the contents of this review, but the case and its conclusion are public record for anyone to see for themselves. I advise in the future that Compact Car Service understands that mistakes can occur and at least tries to act like the responsible small business they claim to be.

    It's 4am right now and I'm angry so bare with me as I type this please.. so I dropped my car ( 2020…read moreHyundai Accent ) because my car was over heating . The man in the front told me it would be done at 2pm ( it was currently 8am ) , so I walked home and waited because I live nearby . Told my boss I would make it to work by at least 3pm. At 1pm I got a phone call from the same man telling me that they accidentally ordered the wrong radiator and my car wouldn't be done until tomorrow . I told him I had work and it's very important I get this done .. he couldn't care less at all honestly . Day 2 , I call at them now for check up on my car , it's 1pm , but a different man answers and tells me my car should be done in 10 mins , so I started walking . While walking I apologize to my boss for not being able to be at work AGAIN but I'll be there for sure tomorrow 100% . When I got to the Firestone , I was given car , and when pulling out the parking lot my car wouldn't accelerate over 20mph for some reason . I slowly pulled into the Firestone again and told them . After 4 hrs of looking at the car it was closing time and they told me to bring the car back tomorrow . BUT .. it drove pretty fine on my ride home surprisingly , got up to 50mph but my check engine light is on . Day 3 ( it's 3:27am and I have to be at work at 4am ) I wake up and try to drive my car and it won't even go to 5MPH now ! My boss texted me saying how he's disappointed and how he needs me today and everyone cant keep covering me . Mind you .. I've NEVER missed a day at all until now . I feel so bad for my co workers but I need my car for my family ! And it's really Firestones fault !

Kevin charged $150 to diagnose the car and said that payment will be applied to the total fix the car. I was ok with that. He made his diagnosis then ordered parts from advanced auto parts. He calls me when he's picking up the part saying the store ordered and quoted him for the wrong part. At this point I'm completely understanding. He sends me a link to order the correct part. I ordered the part and then let him know it arrived. He came out to fix the car. I told him I was at work so my mom would be the primary contact and told him to reach out to her for anything. He comes out and starts working. I get a call from him at work. He didn't want to call my mom because he knew she was going to be livid. He couldn't do the job. He said there was a part that he needed that he didn't have. I'm irritated at this point but I appreciated him not doing a janky job just for the money. So I called around and eventually found a shop to tow the car to. Come to find out the part he had me order was the wrong part. So he was completely incompetent when it came to this job. Now I have to start completely over and I paid him $150 for him to give wrong information. I will not be calling him again and neither should you!
