I love this place! It's a hidden gem with great food. The place is definitely short staffed but that doesn't stop them from getting the food out timely with a great attitude. Also, the prices are fair for the amount of food! The beer menu could be expanded but overall it's a cool place to have dinner or even a late lunch. I've dined three times and the service was consistent. The place is clean and they don't rush you like most seafood restaurants - I'm looking at you Kickin Crab! This place has been one of my top go to spots for quite a few years now, so I feel like this review is long over due. I honestly feel that places like Boiling Crap are over-rated so I wasn't too sure I was going to enjoy this place when I saw it had opened up near my hood. After that first time, I haven't been able to go anywhere else to get my shrimp fix. The staff has always been super friendly (put it this way, before the pandemic, I would come in and staffers like Cindy would greet me with a big hug). I will keep it real, there have been a few times where I've taken a big group and they may have forgotten a thing or two from our orders in the past which didn't settle right with the people I was with, but they've always been pretty accurate with me. Other than that, the restaurant itself is pretty clean and the food is incredible. The only 1 star I would have to give about this place is now my cholesterol is pretty high cuz I keep coming back. HOWEVER, after having to wait and call out our waiter repeatedly (despite our table being the ONLY customers on this day), having a waitress who lost our receipt, and being forced to pay for a 15% tip for a large table, I really can't love this place too much.. Not alone that I really didn't like the seafood soup I ordered. Too sour and too fishy. Also, why doesn't seafood soup have ANY shrimps!? Had to give it a star to write a review: 1) no wait time which was great 2) food was good 3) service HORRIBLE we ordered for our food and had to ask 3 different ppl for spoons; lemon; salt and refills but dropped off the check and walked away; didn't wait for us to request Togo menus or dessert 4) I paid 109 in a $61 check. Used my paypal card they swiped and used $47.
