Another recent reviewer described the host as rude after being told to wait outside in the rain and wind, and another specifically mentioned that the hostess was not helpful when they had questions. Unfortunately, this makes my experience seem much less like an isolated incident and more like a recurring customer-service problem. My own experience involved someone at the front who was unnecessarily difficult, unwilling to help with basic questions or alternatives, and ultimately refused service when I asked to speak with management. What is even more concerning is that I subsequently tried multiple times to reach management about what happened and did not receive a return call. When several recent customers are independently describing similar experiences with front-of-house staff, I would expect management or ownership to take those complaints seriously. Based on my experience and the pattern reflected in other recent reviews, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that values its customers and treats them with basic courtesy and respect.

After a small accident at our table where a glass broke, instead of handling the situation with kindness and professionalism, she loudly announced that the table was reserved and made us feel embarrassed and disrespected. She even argued with another waiter who was being polite and trying to help, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. It's disappointing because the rest of the team provided excellent service, but this interaction left a negative impression. I hope the management is aware of how Minji treats customers, as her behavior does not reflect the quality of the restaurant or the excellent service provided by the rest of the staff.

I got the udon combo but found it to be A LOT of udon, so I would probably just get the gyu katsu separately next time! The service was on top of it, they were quick to switch out the hot slabs when it got cooler or reignite the flame! The restaurant is pretty small and a nice place to enjoy their happy hour! They do offer lunch specials, and I'll definitely be back to try those. The restaurant is well maintained, with a clean dining area and bathroom.
