Way over priced for the area. Small (10 inch) bbq pizza is nearly 14$. 2 blocks away little Ceasar's 5$ for a xl pepperoni pizza. Also the place is super quite, no energy, no music, can't really figure out how they plan on getting the support of locals at this price point and in this type of establishment. On top of this. We've ordered from Leucadia Point Loma several times and it's ranged from ok to not so great. Last weeks order probably pushed us over the edge to not order from here any more. The food has been hit or miss but we like the fact that they offer a single serving pizza because my husband and I don't like the same toppings and I have a small appetite. My husbands pizza arrived cold (which is not a deal breaker) and burned. They should never have allowed this pizza to leave the store. Not the first time that the food was sub par. I have tried to go three different times and all times there has been something wrong with my order. First time, they estimated my time to be thirty minutes and knew my name without me telling them they said they read the caller I'd. so I walked over after 35 minutes and the lady told me that they didn't have any of the product for my sandwich. She didn't even suggest anything else. I asked why I wouldn't have been called and she blamed me for not leaving my number. I decided to try again. I ordered online this time. I walked over and they didn't have my order at all. I tried one more time because I eat so much pizza and having a new place right near home was so exciting. I love to support local businesses and had high hopes that were mostly dashed. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt being this is a new location. Both web sites down. Impossible to view menu. So ordered large, 3 item pizza and 1 small desert. There was uneven distribution of the items and some pieces had just cheese. Unacceptable! You kidding me $35.00? To their credit the thin crust was perfect and desert very tasty but portion way too small. Delivery was fast and friendly though we live blocks away. Each time I've ordered Leucadia they always come through with the best quality pizzas. Thin pizza, great for feeding a large group. Their delivery service is also easy. I personally don't fancy pizza that much which is why I love that they have "mini" pizzas with only 4 slices. I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't try Leucadia sooner! We thought it was so delicious that we ordered it twice in the span of five days. We ordered half portions of two pastas and it was plenty of food for the both of us. The pasta also came with four pieces of garlic toast. We also ordered the five cheese pizza and I highly recommend. Simple but so delicious with all the different ingredients. I'm already planning when I'm going to order from Leucadia again. At first, I was thrilled to know there was a location near me. When I visited (for the first time at this location) I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the service I received. During the time of service there was a woman at the counter. She was incredibly rude, disrespectful and gave off a feeling of extreme judgment as she took the order from my party. This individual sent me waiting for my pizza (took an average amount of time thanks to the hard working individuals in the kitchen) with a nasty distaste for my experience here. I left with an uneasy feeling of the management and/or ownership and how they treat their customers. Definitely will not be returning back to this location to avoid being treated rudely, however other chain locations have my respect and business. read more

This place is a very welcomed new restaurant in the Point Loma/OB area. The owners are super friendly and very willing to satisfy the customer. I have tried the Cheese Raviolis as well as the lasagna. I love the Raviolis in a pink sauce(custom request) as well as in their vodka sauce. The lasagna was also delicious but i prefer the Ravs. My 5yr old really likes their pasta as well so its win win in my house. After about 15 minutes, another lady asked what order I was waiting for. She then informed me that something broke and they had to remake the order, and that it would only be another 5 minutes. I ordered a half and half pizza. The pizza was delivered in correctly and called to ask for it to be either re delivered or a smaller pizza delivered for the half that wasn't made correct. I live near Leucadia Pizza and was happy there was a new Italian addition to the neighborhood. I visited on a not very bust Friday afternoon and got a Chicken Parm to go. It was a long wait, which I attributed to making the item from scratch. The take out service was decent, the people polite. The food was marginal--not all the cheese was melted, bread was average, the marinara sauce was good, though. It was not cheap, but nowadays most everything seems to be too much--at least too much for me. The portion was good, and the chips were a nice touch. I don't think I would go back to try the pizza--the reviews of that do not seem great. Nor the Chicken Parm either. Maybe it the start up learning curve, so I'll give it a few months. A significant draw back is the parking--there is virtually none in that little area. read more
