I went on a Saturday afternoon, parking was pretty packed . The line to order wasn't bad though we waiting a few minutes to take our order so that gave us some time to go through the menu. We decided on the weeks special called "The Sinatra" which has White clam sauce, garlic, parsley, lemon, pecorino Romano , house cured bacon, and fresh clams. Also I got my favorite sandwich called the RockyTop -salami, calicos, mortadella, provolone, arugula, pepper relish, garlic mayo, and lemon vinaigrette Both 5/5!!! After ordering our food we got some seats and it was so beautiful. The pizza is good though I'd stay away from the more experimental specials if you're going in a large group or are not feeling adventurous. They're very hit or miss. The Elvis, Rossi, Sting, and Queen are really good. Buyer beware with the Elvis, they do not hold back on the arugula and it ended up feeling and tasting more like a sandwich (still good though). The NWA was interesting but I could tell they're more of a pizza place. I will give it points for how filling it was. I deducted one star for two reasons: 1) the pizzas are ridiculously overpriced. I'm willing to overpay for a quality pie but they are not big and you need to get several. 4 adults could easily spend $100 on just the pizzas (no drinks or anything else). That is a lot considering people go here for a casual dinner at what is essentially a food court. Also, the guy at the register can be a little snappy. He moved out of the line just as I stepped up to order because I hesitated with a "Let me get a..." I get the place can be busy but he could stand to wait 5 seconds. I was overly polite to him in response and he warmed up. I noticed he was like this on both occasions I went so I don't think this is an isolated incident. Despite all this, the review stays at 4 stars. The pizza, especially if you like Neopolitan-style, is very good. You can taste the quality in the dough and it's not too salty. Also, seating is relatively easy. You can eat the pizza inside Deft as long as you order drinks there, which we were happy to do. Both times we went, the outside seating was packed. The first time because the alumni association of University of Dayton were having their watch party there and the second time was because they were having some trivia night. Anyway, worth the stop. I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon around 4 PM. The food truck is located right inside of the biergarten. They offer a great selection of pizzas, along with starters and sandwiches. One thing worth noting: happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 3-5 PM, and they offer $5 pizzas, which is a great deal. I ordered: * Pork Soda Pizza: Absolutely delicious. The crust was thin and crispy, and the balsamic drizzle really added to the entire dish. The service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and one of the chefs even came out and handed pepperonis to the dogs on the patio. The space itself is spacious with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to hang out with friends, family, or your pup. Located right next to deft brewery, in their little beer garden, this pizza joint has connected with the other businesses in this courtyard in order to bring customers a top tier experience. You walk in, seat yourself, and the pizza menus are layed out on every table. You can either get beer, go get mead, or enjoy some wine with your pizza. There's numerous seating spots for you and inside the brewery itself. These guys at the pizza place will ask for your table number when you order food, so they can personally deliver it to you. The pizza is New York style thin crust. I ended up getting the Elvis which has prosciutto, arugula, and cheese on top of it. It was cut up into 6 slices and was very large portions. It was great, fresh, and hot. The only downfall was how burnt my pizza was, which I appreciate because I can tell it was house made to order. My two favorite regular pizzas are The Queen and The Soprano. I also enjoy their weekly specials, because you never know what combination you might get. One of my favorites recently had corned beef and pickles on it. They offer gluten-free crust, the first time we ordered it. It was so tasty. I thought they accidentally messed up our order but my friends and family with us with celiac disease were not affected so it's proved that it was legit gluten-free. Such a cute beer garden with wood fired pizza and beer, cider, and wine!!! Parking is a little limited but there's a dirt lot at the end of the street. Not sure if it's exactly for this spot, but we parked there and it was fine. The space ain't super big but there's a large variety of table options for different group sizes. There's also a little stage for live music. Both our pizzas were delicious. Lovely char on the crust and tasty, fresh toppings. The salad on the other hand, was just ok. This is the food vendor at The Garten which is an outdoor courtyard in a cluster of industrial warehouses in the Linda Vista neighborhood. There was no dedicated on-site parking lot so you had to find a curbside space on one of the side streets. Pizza Cassette was located immediately to the left when you walked into The Garten. Menu sheets were placed at the picnic tables that were set up in the middle of the common space. There was an evenly divided number of pizzas between the red pies and white pies on the bottom part of the menu. Appetizers and sandwiches made up the top half of the sheet. I wasn't hungry enough to order a pizza so I pivoted to the latter category. From the list of five sandwiches, my pick was the Korn(ed) Beef which cost a hefty $20. House brined and smoked pastrami was dressed in Swiss cheese, kohlrabi slaw, and Dijon mayonnaise. I sat a table to wait for my order which took about ten minutes. A worker handed me a wrapped package that was quite heavy. I then understood why this sandwich was priced as such because it was the largest one I have encountered in a while. The layers of meat were densely packed between the bread. It needed more slaw and dressing as I found the pastrami to be dry because there was so much. Two meals at home were what it took for me to finish consuming the sandwich. I will return and either try another sandwich or pick up a red pie as I had a positive experience at my initial visit to Pizza Cassette. read more

I feel really late to the party on experiencing this place - great vibe, good food, live music. Love the courtyard with multiple complimentary businesses, seat yourself with counter ordering. Its a great place to meet up with friends. I actually discovered them on my Instagram when they were featured by a local food influencer account and started following. When I saw a reel on their special of the week (Notorious F.I.G.) I was finally prompted to check it out. Pie prices are steep but on par with most good pizza places these days. Their special hovered close to $30. I would say the pizzas are larger than a personal size, a modest shared pizza for two (but if you are ordering other things, totally appropriately sized for 2). Sadly, they ran out of burrata for the evening so my pizza wasnt really as intended. I inquired about some fresh mozz instead which they brought over but that was cold slices. Still not quite the same but they tried to be accommodating. My pizza was an "eh" opinion (its honestly more flatbread), esp for the high price tag of ingredients I didnt get to experience fully. Thank goodness we also got the Fungadelic (salami, mushroom, mozzarella,parmesan, garlic, shallot) because that pizza is BOMB. Wow delicious. I would come back every time for that one. The evening we came (sunday) they also had live jazz music and it was a great vibe. Given you seat yourself, order at the counter and provide your table #, and its quick fired pizzas, it is a very efficient place for a meal. Great for a large group to not have to worry about bill splitting, and great for when you are super hungry as they are very efficient. We'll definitely be coming back and bringing friends next time! Been here twice and it's absolutely amazing! We've gotten the Rocky Top (Italian sandwich) twice and me and my boyfriend both think it's the best Italian sando we've ever had. Having a few extra minutes gave us time to look through the menu without feeling rushed. We ordered our pizzas to go. These were still delicious after a 20 minute drive. Crust was thin but chewy and tasted like it was made with lots of love and good quality ingredients. Toppings were generous and evenly distributed on each slice. We had the H To The Enzo, Lemon Song, and Parliament. The Enzo had a nice little kick to it in some bites. It was my favorite of the three. The Lemon Song was good but my least favorite. The lemon slices were tart and not bitter. I wish I would have taken photos because they were so nicely thinly sliced. The reason this was my least favorite is because the crust was pretty blackened on the bottom of this one so it had a strong burn taste to it. The Parliament was really good two. We ordered the meatballs and two different types of pizza. The meatballs I had seen on other people's tables looked great, three large meatballs. When we got ours, they were two small meatballs and some chunks of a third meatball. I am guessing it was the bottom of the pot and they hadn't made new ones yet? They were tasty, but as soon as you stuck a fork in them, they were falling apart. A little bit disappointing. We got the lemon pizza and although the crust was excellent, the toppings were very bland with almost no salt or flavor. The other piece Pizza we got with red sauce, had a bit more flavor, but that one didn't have as much good crust as the lemon one. Pretty good pizza but extremely hampered by the overall service/logistics, my experience at Pizza Cassette was frustrating to say the least. It's located in an outdoor patio (communal) area alongside other drink stores and when we went, there was a live band keeping the energy and atmosphere very fun and lively. Firstly, you have to find a table before you get in line to order. There are signs at Pizza Cassette that call this out but for first timers, it's not the greatest system (especially if you are dining solo) since you need someone to hold down a table (which is already hard during crowded times) while someone goes and orders. They bring the food to your table (you tell them the number) vs just being given a number+table holder which in my opinion would make things a lot easier for the guests. Plus, there were no menus readily available while waiting to order so once you get to the front, you basically are looking at the menu and deciding. We made our order and I joined our group at the table. In hindsight, the cashier didn't let us know that you have to get your own utensils/plates which were off to the side. It wasn't very obvious and the fact that they didn't say anything was not great. (Plus I had to ask where to get water which is located inside one of the other shops). We got the dessert (Pumpkin Cheesecake special) immediately. It wasn't very sweet at all which was fine, but the overall flavor was lacking. Next came the olives which were very nice and addicting! And then the waiting began. I understand that it was busy but we kept waiting for what felt like forever. After 1 hour, I went to the cashier to ask about our food and she said that we were next up. Then right after I sat back down, one of the workers came over to ask if we received everything for our order or if they missed anything. This was bizarre because it came off as they messed-up our order/lost it and didn't acknowledge or apologize for the overall wait (since the cashier literally just told me that we were up next; I highly doubt we were). And then after that happened, we finally got our 2 pizzas. The Fungadelic was very tasty and I really liked the shallots on top. They added a nice little crunch to each bite. The crust and dough were nice, but the overall pie was a bit too wet. You couldn't pick up a slice without some of the toppings and cheese falling off. The Canned Heat was good but it really needed more of the house-made hot sauce. That sauce was really good and it was lightly dressed on the pizza. This pizza had a better structure to it where it didn't fall off when picked up. If I was just given the slice of pizzas and rated it off of that, then this would be much higher recommendation, but the overall experience was not great at all. read more

obsesssssed with the location of this pizza shop. also obsessed with their constantly changing menu! i feel like you can taste the quality of all of their ingredients, and i think for a specialty shop the prices are really reasonable. reason for taking off 1 star- for the fig pizza I was just expecting a little bit more fig but I felt it was overpowered by the cheese on the pizza. thats just my opinion tho! otherwise super solid pizza read more

The Fungadelic pizza (with lemon sausage replacing the salami) was delicious. Our big surprise though was the gluten-free pizza crust on the second pie we ordered. Best GF crust we've ever had, and they make it from scratch in-house. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at the Banks Street location in The Garten in Bay Park with a brewery, winery and meadery on site. read more

Really cool spot, good pizza, has a meadery and brewery attached so there's a few options for drinks. I will say that it's not as family friendly as most pizza spots as Friday nights have live music where you cannot escape how loud it is. A few kids from our group were crying about how loud it was but the majority of seating is outdoors so we had no choice but to bear through it and move to a corner once one opened. The pizza takes a suuuuper long time to come out, no matter if it's a simple cheese pizza or a more complicated one. The food was really 5 stars. The sandwich prepared on their house made bread, super fresh. Mozzarella and tomato salad, heirloom and sprinkled with sea salt. Lastly the pizzahhhh the crust alone was chefs kiss. The service was quick, they crank out the food pretty quickly for being an outdoor kitchen. The restaurant was at an unexpected place tucked in between commercial buildings in the Morena Blvd district.
