Their fried mozzarella is literal disks of mozzarella that's battered and fried and served with an incredible sauce. They were THE BEST I've ever had. Ever. Hands down. Which is saying A LOT. We have been living in Ocean Beach for just over a year and we have ordered Leucadia Pizza on countless occasions. I don't know what it is about their pizza but it is life. We had a bit of a mix up with our delivery being accepted by the next door neighbors but they were awesome about it and made us an entirely new pizza free of charge to compensate for our pizza mishap. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, and of course the pizza is always super hot, and fresh. I highly recommend this pizza spot to everyone. read more

I've ordered pizza for pickup and delivery from here several times. My favorite is the pear Gorgonzola arugula! It's so good! But all their pizzas are delicious. I tried the lobster Mac and cheese this time and it's very cheesy and a good portion! I was a little disappointed because I tried to order the lasagna, fettuccine and any of the salads but it said they were not available. Not sure if they just sold out or no longer an option. I ordered a couple pizzas for delivery and they showed up very quickly. The one gluten free seemed very dark almost burnt so I called back to let them know. I am not one to usually complain but I figured it was an accident to send it out so burnt. The next thing I know they have sent another larger gluten free pizza in replacement and added desert too!! I was totally blown away by how awesome the manager was, she even called me about an hour later to be sure I was satisfied with the second pizza. My kids loved the regular crust too so win win. I hate to say how often I order pizza from Leucadia but hey... it's amazing. We often get the two mini cheese pizzas and it's a great deal and plenty of food. Two mini pizzas are roughly $5 bucks each and considering one slice on Newport is $5... this is worth it. Doesn't hurt that the food is amazing! New favorite pizza joint :) read more

Regardless, my children will eat any other pizza in the neighborhood (NY Giant, Buona Forchetta, even Papa Johns) and they won't eat Leucadia. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE FROM START TO FINISH! Goat Cheese pizza arrived hot, timely, and deliciously perfect! Hot Cheeesy bread was scrumptious,, topped with melted slabs of cheese. Yum yum! Full size antipasto salad was great, but lacking in everything but lettuce; More meat, cheese, etc was needed, along with a lot more salad dressing! Pretty bummed about our experience here. Wanted to try the new pizza place down the street so I called in an order for pickup. Very clearly stated that I wanted a large half Hawaiian, half pepperoni and olive. The guy on the phone repeated it back to me at least twice and even while I was on the phone with him asked someone next to him if that was how to enter half toppings properly. Before he hung up, he confirmed my order and said it would be 20 minutes. So I show up and he repeats the order back as "half Hawaiian, half pepperoni and SAUSAGE." I was like no it was definitely supposed to be olives not sausage. He looked at the pizza in the back and the manager came over and offered to make a medium pizza to make up for the half that was wrong. She said if someone will eat the sausage then I can just have both pizzas. My thought was awesome I'm sure my husband will eat pepperoni and sausage. So I asked her to make the medium with pepperoni and olive. I waited 15 minutes while they made it quickly for me, took my large and medium pizza out the door and headed home. TIP: DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR PIZZAS. Really with the number of mistakes made as seen in other reviews this is something that they should be doing...showing you your pizza to make sure it's correct before you leave. When I got home I opened the medium which looked great, pepperoni and olive. When I opened the large I was instantly disappointed to find it was half cheese, half Hawaiian, pepperoni and sausage. Yuck.. who would order that?! And to make it worse they put cinnamon on their Hawaiian pizza. So my husband took the large pizza back since we had paid for a large and it was 100% not what we ordered. The manager said she had already made it right with me and she owed him nothing. He explained to her that the entire pizza was wrong not just half, but she wouldn't listen to him or do anything to fix the issue. At the very least we should have received a refund of the large pizza we paid for since we only left with a medium of something we actually wanted. Just ordered a large meat combo pizza and was so disappointed, I went here a few times during the winter (from date posted ~6-10 months ago) and from what I clearly remember the pizza was absolutely perfect, everything was so well balanced and the crust was sturdy yet soft. There was barely, if any at all grease. But this time it was all soggy and greasy. The taste wasn't necessarily bad but the quality has gone down a ton. The workers there are always kind and listen very well and they do have good service, but the crowds nearby are absolutely horrid. It's always overcrowded, walkways blocked and they're extremely snobby, rude and judgemental, and they're all in very close proximity to the pizza place so there isn't any avoiding that. The parking is also nightmarish. The atmosphere is cute but this place has officially gone down the drain. Too expensive to not be 100% loving the food. The travel over to dominoes on West Point Loma IS worth it no doubt. Again this place might look cute but the crowds aren't and it's too expensive. read more

Love having this joint just down the street. We've tried several, but the Pear Gorgonzola Arugula is our absolute fav. Highly recommend!!! I really hope this place will last. You really only have two options: pick up or delivery. Picking up is quick and seamless...if you can find parking. I've never had to circle around more than twice, but don't plan on parking in the lot (it's saved primarily for the restaurant is shared a wall with). Tip...look for a spot off the alley in the back. Also, they send out deals via email pretty regularly if you sign up for their rewards. All in all, a solid and quick pizza spot. Price is reasonable...especially with a discount. Now for a quick segue...tonight when I picked up our pizza there was a guy who walked in first. He is clearly a pizza aficionado (sarcasm here) and complained about there not being extra cheese on his pizza. I was shocked at how he interacted with the lady - super patronizing. Douche to the worker - "Does this look like extra cheese to you?" Lady to the guy - "It's not up to me. If you'd like us to remake it, we'd be happy to." Douchebag - "No. I just wanted you to know that I know this isn't extra cheese." He rambled a little longer before finally leaving. Here's the deal, I know it's frustrating when you pay for something and it doesn't come out like you expected; but it doesn't give you the right to treat people so indignantly.
