We were in San Diego over the weekend for a family wedding. We spent the whole day at the beach on saturday And got back to the house late. With seventeen of us hanging out, I said to myself....PIZZA! Most of us are from New York and set a high bar for a pie. Well, we ordered four pies, and they were delivered in less than an hour on a saturday night in the middle of summer. The delivery boy was from Philly! What a nice kid! We ate every last crumb of those four pies. I'm a crust man! The crust and the sauce were superb on my Super Cheesy... My sister in law is gluten free, and she said the barbecue chicken pizza with the gluten free crust was the best She has ever had! We came in at 5pm on a Thursday. It was pretty empty. We opted for by the slice and was pretty bummed at the lack of life in these slices. I can appreciate the size but it really should've been more fresh. Their made to order full sized pizza looked much better! read more

We got in late to the hotel due to an unexpected flight delay. I was searching reviews for a pizza that could be delivered to us in Mission Bay. This company came up with some pretty solid reviews. It took a little while, but it was right at dinner time and I definitely understand how that can impact the delivery window . The delivery person was very cordial and polite. Our group is from Las Vegas and we have an absolute embarrassment of good pizza right near us from individual restaurants . I have to say all four of us gave this pizza a thumbs up! Ok, so this is probably & hopefully not an accurate review on how slow the service really is. But it was our first experience it was during spring breaks & we ordered in a pizza were told it would be 30 mins. Perfect we thought no problem. Well I went to pick it up and that's where things went downhill. It wasn't really until after an hr after promise time. We found out that someone had called out on St. patty's day & it was just two employees trying to man the place & a girl doing deliveries. What I couldn't understand is they kept telling all the walk in guest it would only be 20 mins!!! They should have just stopped taking orders till they got caught up. The service was terrible. We chose to eat in & waited 45 min to be overlooked and orders that came in after us were finished. We checked to see where our order was & a pizza sitting aside & forgotten not boxed up was apparently ours. They quickly ran it thru the oven again to warm it. No apologies or acknowledgement they had messed up. In their hurry to get our pizza to us they forgot the ranch we paid for as well. I think the pizza prob fresh could have been pretty good. But reheated was tough & greasy. Great pizza, toppings all tasted super fresh and the dough was really good. Wish they cooked it a little bit longer to make it crispier but otherwise great pizza! Brought my son to stay at The Beach Cottages because we weee going to Sea World. He wanted pizza on the beach so we found this cute, little pizza place. They only had one option for slices that was prepared which was the Hawaiian. We decided to try it. We took it to the beach with us. The slices are big and thin crusted. It was tasty.
