I found this place nestled in a small shopping nook near apartments and residential homes. Service was friendly, the atmosphere is chill, and a nice outside dinning on a sunny day out. Their menu consists of sandwiches, soups, and salad which all sounds scrumptious. I just settled for turkey and provolone (small) which was just enough to fill my hunger. They do have medium and large as well. I also had the lavender peach lemonade which doesn't look like the picture but the taste was definitely there and on point. Thank you Levain Bread.

I wish this was a picture of a good salad the topping high-quality, but the lettuce seems like it was from a week ago.

Takeaway salad really bad brown wilted lettuce like it was cut and put in the bowl two days prior. I've had the same salad inside the restaurant multiple times. It was great the only other time I ordered takeout it was the same quality. I don't know if they are packaging the lettuce in the bowl, ahead of time and then just adding the toppings that's what I'm assuming. I don't know that to be fact, but that's the only thing that explain the difference between in and out. I've had several sandwiches from here and they were great.

This review is based on a delivery order as I have never been to the establishment itself. I was craving a sandwich and decided to give this place a try since it's new to our area and we don't have a lot of places to get a great sandwich. I ordered the Turkey Pesto on a sourdough roll and was pleasantly surprised when I opened it up, it was beautiful. Packed full of turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and oozing sauce. Nothing worse than a dry sandwich! I'll definitely check out the actual restaurant and order again.

This place was so good. I am happy there's a good sandwich place close to home. We ordered the bbq sandwich, tomato soup, cookie, latte and lemonade. I can't even begin to describe the flavors and freshness. I would say this is a 4.5ish establishment but considering others have rated it so low I figured I'd do it justice since it's definitely rated higher than its showing. Portions were decent. We have to keep in mind that EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE is expensive these days. You can't even go to McDonald's without spending 25-30 bucks. That said, this place was priced appropriately for the type of food they are serving. Everything was fresh and it had cohesiveness. My only recommendation would be for them to work on their customer greeting? Not sure how to say it but the service was good yet needed that special touch that makes you feel welcomed and invited to come back. By no means was it bad but if they want to stay competitive and inviting they will need to improve on this. The inside of the restaurant was clean and we loved the style. It was relaxing and we enjoyed every part of our meal. Hope it does well.

Fresh and flavorful sandwiches with amazing bread! Dined in for lunch on a Sunday. We were the only ones there when we entered but some more customers came in after us. We placed our order after having a chance to read the big menu in front of the register. Here's what we got: * 6"/medium size caprese salami sandwich ($12.99) - my fiancé got it on sourdough and said it was really good! He had the option to order it hot or cold and went with hot. * 8"/large size BBQ brisket sandwich ($13.99) - I got it with Dutch crunch and loved it! The fried onions and the coleslaw matched well with the brisket. And I liked how the Dutch crunch was soft and didn't hurt my mouth but it still had a satisfying crunch to it. I was full after finishing this. * 12 oz bowl clam chowder ($9.99) - flavorful and not too salty! Loved how it came with 4 slices of sourdough. The sourdough was warm and chewy and had the perfect bite. I enjoyed dunking the bread into the chowder. * Oatmeal raisin cookie ($2.89) - chewy, sweet, and pretty big! Just how I like my oatmeal raisin cookies. * Chocolate chip cookie ($2.89) - didn't get to try it, but my fiancé said it was good! Seemed to satisfy his chocolate craving. * 12 oz chai latte, less ice ($5.50) - not too sweet and had just the right amount of milk. Everything tasted fresh and was served to us quickly. Service was friendly and I didn't feel rushed when deciding what to order. Plenty of seating inside and outside the restaurant with easy, nearby parking. I can see why some may say it's pricey, but I feel like the quality justifies the price. I'll definitely come back to try the southwest salad and Mac n cheese! Glad to have a local, yummy sandwich place!

The crave for a sandwich was strong this morning and I was quite interested in the Dutch crunch bread that Levain had to offer. I came in around 0830 on a Monday morning and was the only customer for the morning. The cashier was very friendly since I asked what they'd recommend - it was between the turkey pesto or the bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. I opted for the BLT with Dutch crunch. I didn't have any expectations but was pleasantly surprised by the sauce that they used. It's similar to an aioli with a kick which is was totally not what I was expecting. The sandwich was good, I probably would try the italian over the BLT. The dining area was large and clean. Parking was easy and there are EV charging a little walk away.

Okay tasting sandwich. Young lady who served me was very pleasant. She helped me pick out a sandwich she thought my son would like. Place was very clean. I want to come back to try some of their beverages and other sandwiches.

I came here for the first time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The sandwich was very good. All the ingredients tasted fresh. The bread was very soft and fresh as well. The inside is aesthetically pleasing with wall art all over inside. I recommend paying them a visit if you're looking for a good sandwich.

Giving this place a 3.5-3.8, but not a 4. Tried this new spot, reminds me of a Sourdough and Co. type place. Ordered the bbq brisket sandwich. For a Large, 13.99 is quite pricey especially when it's small. It tasted quite good, bread was fresh and meat was tasty! Had an iced latte too. You order and have a seat, place is pretty open and clean. There's other places to get more bang for your buck.

Great sandwich shop with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I really loved the sandwich I ordered. The tomato soup was rich, comforting, and the perfect match on the side. A bit on the pricey side but def will retrun

Hopefully, next time will be epic all around! (as far as ambience, it's a cute little place, the music was decent, and the tables were well appointed. As I moved now to Cordelia, I got the opportunity to stop by Huckleberry's in Fairfield. I was super thrilled that they actually had a patio. We were able to bring our pups with us and really enjoyed our time together. With that said that, I'm giving this place two stars. It was great that we got to be seated instantly I didn't have to wait because we were sitting outside. The outside back patio had a whole bunch of picnic tables and all of your utensils and extra ingredients were on top of the table. The menu you had a whole bunch of southern choices. I was super thrilled to see that they had fried okra and fried green tomatoes. Recently visiting Charleston, I really enjoyed their fried green tomatoes. So I said why not give it a chance here. I asked Jennifer, our waiter, what she thought about them and she said they were good. I also made sure to ask what the thickness of the tomato was because I actually like that flavor. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, and two double bloody Mary's. The bloody Mary's were delicious and they came out with bacon and all the garnishes that usually come with it. The fried green tomatoes, were horrible, it was basically batter, you didn't even get to see the tomato inside of it. The dipping sauce was OK, I usually don't do this, but I had to return it because I'm not eating dough! BTW... It also came with a really dirty nasty plate. Secondly, we ordered the fried steak and country gravy. We went for the side potatoes. And we asked for extra gravy. That dish came out pretty well and that's why it's getting this two stars. They definitely need to use a little bit more salt and pepper to add to their food for flavor. Thirdly, we ordered a second round of drinks, this time I ordered their jungle juice, which was huckleberry lemonade and vodka! It tasted water down and like there was no alcohol in it. Even though I asked for a double? At the end of the day, will I be returning no.
