Good Food, Terrible Service. I placed an order that included carrot sticks, and my order called out as "ready." When I arrived at the counter to pick it up, I was only then informed that they were out of carrot sticks. No apology was offered, and no substitute or compensation was suggested until I specifically asked, "And how are you going to compensate me?" Only after I asked was I offered fries instead. What made the situation more frustrating was that the fries were not started immediately. After already waiting for what was supposed to be a completed order, I then watched the chef begin preparing another customer's full order first -- including setting up patties, buns, and curly fries -- before finally going to the freezer to start my replacement fries. I stood there for several additional minutes waiting for the final part of an order that had already been marked ready. During this time, the chef also insisted that I move out of the way for the order he had prioritized ahead of mine, despite there being more than enough counter space for both orders. I moved slightly, and the other customers were able to receive their food without issue, but the chef continued complaining as I apparently did not move far enough and eventually said, "Are we gonna have a problem?" I responded, "No, just get me my fries." After that, the chef muttered "asshole" toward me before finally handing me the fries so I could leave. The entire interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive. The restaurant failed to verify ingredient availability before marking the order ready, no apology was offered for the inconvenience, I had to request compensation myself, and I was treated as though my order had become a low priority because of a mistake the restaurant made. The chef working around 1:30 PM on May 28, 2026 handled the situation poorly and escalated what should have been a simple customer service issue. In the end I know I am going to be the one declared at fault. Because of myself not moving immediately regardless of the fact that there was more than enough room. The fact that the other customers got their food just fine with me moving only a few inches means nothing. read more

I haven't had Monsoon Burger in years, so I decided to give them a try again. Unfortunately, their burgers and fries are still a hit or miss. Some days they taste great, while other days they are bland. There were numerous times when I or a family member ordered DoorDash from Monsoon Burger, where they didn't include all of the items we ordered as well. The service is still alright. The staff are well-versed with the menu, which I do appreciate. The ambiance is pretty chill inside of the restaurant. There are a few TVs in the back, so you can watch whatever while enjoying your meal. Overall, I'm still not a fan of Monsoon Burger. Today we placed an order online for pick up while in FF and when leaving to go get it, our car battery went out on us. The first time I visited Monsoon Burgers was a few years ago during jury duty. I remember one of the other jurors enjoying an order of garlic fries. Years later, I visited with my husband before we were to attend a meeting with the Solano County Sheriff's Department. The staff was extremely friendly; my husband was happy to see that he had a variety of sides to add to his Bacon Cheeseburger. I had the Fish & Chips with curly fries. This business was not super busy so I think my expectations should be manageable. The restaurant was dirty, sticky and kind of gross. They had all the opportunity on the world to pack tons of flavor into a burger with pastrami on it. It was bland and boring. Tipping Culture is Insane. Beware, you may be on the receiving end of some passive aggressive cashier if you don't tip her a dollar or two for ringing up your order. Stopped in on Wed night (4/23/25) around 8. Ordered some food and sat down. The young cashier girl starts a conversation with the cook, and begins to loudly complain about how people don't tip. To which the cook stated that he always tips even when he goes to subway. Good for you I guess? Mind you, we are the only persons there (we did not tip) and the game was on the TV. Clearly, we were meant to hear her rant. The shameless sense of entitlement is sad more than anything else. I don't tip the McDonald's employee, or the gas station attendant, or any other fast food employee; nor do they expect it. You did not take our order at the table, bring our food to us, refill our drinks, or take our dishes away. Just because you put out a tip jar asking for change doesn't mean you are entitled to it. Maybe you hate your job, I dont know. What I do know is that displacing whatever grievances you have on your patrons will not get you very far in life. Also, never use the sauces here. After refilling the monsoon sauce container, the cashier wiped the tip with the dirtiest rag I've ever seen. Simply amazing. How is this place still in operation? My family came to eat here, there was myself and 2 others we each got a small burger with fries and only 2 people got a drink and it was over 50.00. The only reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's very pricey. I also think that's why the restaurant wasn't very busy because the food is great.
