From the moment I walked in, I l felt welcomed and comfortable. I never felt rushed to order, and our waitress was very patient with all of my questions about portion sizes and customization options. She was friendly and helpful, which made ordering easy. The food came out quickly, and the staff was attentive without interrupting our meal. They checked in at the perfect time to make sure everything was good. Great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

Rice was tasteless, no flavor. The vegan mushroom roll also didn't have any flavor to me. My husband didn't mind it. Other friends love this place. Salad was decent. Crushed fava beans were ok too. But honestly I can not recommend this place when it cost us $100 for the two of us when the food was very mediocre. Service and ambiance is good but not much else sorry to say.

Excellent food, friendly people. We so desperately needed a good middle eastern restaurant in the North Bay. Levant is a breath of fresh air! We tried three different dishes, an appetizer and two dessert and all were delicious. The Sayedieh and Maglouba were so moist and flavorful, yet the rice still holding its beautiful shape. I can't claim I make better rice at home! The only thing that can improve and I don't know if they can influence it at this point, is that it was too loud on a busy Friday night. It's a good sign for the restaurant but it makes it hard if you're trying to catch up with friends and have a conversation. The server was friendly to chat with us about our own background and culture; I really appreciated that she expressed her personal viewpoint and recognition.

So happy to have this restaurant in town! Ate with a Palestinian friend who said everything was authentic and delicious. I agree on the delicious! My favorite was the fried cauliflower in tahini sauce, the arayes, and the chicken shawarma. The only dish that was not a standout was the falafel, which was surprisingly dry. We also enjoyed a glass of Lebanese wine. Service was warm and inviting, and the place was buzzing!

Delicious Mediterranean food, clean and boisterous cafe atmosphere, friendly service. Really enjoyed the Lebnah and the Muhammara. When spread on soft chewy pita bread, paired with a middle eastern glass of white wine, this was a perfect appetizer course. I enjoyed the Falafel, although it was dense. Great flavor and moisture content, incredible crunch on the outside, but was a bit heavy on the inside. The sauce that accompanied it was delicious and artfully spread across the platter, but I wanted more. Would have preferred a simple ramekin with enough sauce to properly dip, of spread across the Falafel. Lamb chops were seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and made for a perfect main dish served atop saffron rice. The Kanafa was the sleeper hit of the evening! I had no idea what to expect, but this savory/sweet dessert was remarkable. It was crispy on the outside, gooey and salty cheesy inside, then drizzled with sweet syrup and topped with pistachios. This dessert is 5 out of 5 stars! While everything we ordered was great, I overheard the waitress apologize to 3 different tables adjacent to us about high wait times for food. Given the restaurant is so new, I hope they are just figuring things out, and that this is not a sign of unsustainable quality. It wouldn't be the first time a great kitchen has problems scaling up it's supply to meet demand.

Came her with my sister last week. I was visiting from out of town and she was dying to try this place. It's super cute and small enough to feel intimate and special, but big enough for groups as well. We started with prosecco which came in super cute mini bottles, and Greek fries. I had never had Greek fries before, and these we fantastic! I could eat these every day!! I cannot remember the name of what I got for my entree, but it was chicken wrapped in pita, cut into small perfect bites. We ordered a super yummy bottle of wine with dinner which we really enjoyed. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was fabulous. We had a perfect evening catching up over great food and wine. I would definitely come back when I'm in town visiting! There are so many great options too if you don't eat meat.

Wanted to try this place and here's my feedback to the owners... Beef was over cooked by about 3-5 minutes longer than it should. And so was the chicken. Portions are rather small for the price, but doable. I would recommend to have the meat more medium than well done as it loses its juices. All ingredients were fresh and of high quality so that's not the issue. This place has a huge potential to be the best, if they master their meat cooking temperatures. We also had falafels, and they were delicious!

Qatayif, kind of like a crispy pancake filled with walnuts and cinnamon-sugar. Vegan! Delicious!

Levant is a true gem in the heart of Downtown Petaluma. Their food is very authentic and the portions are generous. The ambience is very elegant and tasteful yet warm and inviting. The music is lively but at a volume where you can still talk and hear your fellow dinner mates. The food came out quickly, and the service was very attentive. Lots of vegan options as well. Not to be missed: the hummus, muhammara and the kufta (I had the one with impossible meat). It was mouth watering delicious. We wanted to try even more food but we had to stop ourselves. We were so full! We can't wait to return and try more dishes, especially the Makloubeh which is hard to find on any Middle Eastern menu!

Middle eastern food Heaven is here! So good great service and fabulous atmosphere! My favorite is the lamb chops and the fried cheese for sure! Must come visit here every month at least!

Talk about happy tastebuds. Our main dish was a beautiful salmon fillet prepared perfectly with just a hint of lemon rubbed on, and presented on a bed of shelled brussel sprouts lightly roasted. The coup de gras was the dessert: a slice of peanut butter and a flourless chocolate cake. Luis recommended a sangiovese for my wife and she enjoyed it immensely. This restaurant I would proudly recommend to all my friends. I would have rated it higher than a five if I could have.

Service - the gal behind oysters bar was very skilled, very informative, and kept the food comin'. She created I wish I could call her out by name but it wasn't on the receipt that was texted to me. Food - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was an 11! * Lemonade was had good lemon taste and just the right acid/sugar balance. I learned that a batch is made each day, and occasionally two. The best I've had anywhere in Sonoma County or Marin County! * I order the first three items on the oyster list (this time two of each) and came up with a new favorite. Then I added four more to the favorite. At 81 I don't do well on short term memory! I love that what was done so right was the lemon and the mignonette (sp?) sauce that was exactly balanced. The last restaurant in Ptown and two absolutely terrible with a red and a white. * Next I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail. They screamed fresh, perfectly boiled that let the shrimp flavor out, and again the red sauce was perfectly balanced between flavor and heat. Had to made in house. And they just nicely crisply cool, not in a cold place that overwhelms the flavor. I don't think I've every had one this good! * Next was a pair of fried oysters. I was prepared for some oily, bready things that would ruin all of the above. BUT NO, the perfect balance was incredible!! * Last was the clam chowder. I'm soooo fussy about this after growing up in the NorthEast (Connecticut) and 4 years of college in Maine blew this one away. It lacked the perfection and freshness of my East Coast standard. But I finished with the last of lemonade and all was well. My standard has never been "perfect." I don't meet that standard, so the chef shouldn't have to either. Hey, maybe he's never been in Maine! P.S. there's not section for this, because the above doesn't happen without OWNERS that create processes and hire people that and buy the best incredients. Kudos, gals!!

One downside is that drinks are slow to come out. The restaurant shares the hotel lobby bar. If that bar is busy, it seems like the restaurant dunks are lower priority. The bar and the dining room area appeared very modern and clean. Started our meal with the Gochujang glazed cauliflower wings and they were phenomenal! Beneath the deliciously flavored glaze was a crunchy fried cauliflower that maintained its veggie tenderness! The allium dip was a bonus because it elevated the flavor to another dimension. This was definitely one of our favorite items of the night! The Parker rolls were served with a homemade butter and they were light and airy which made them pair nicely with the fresh golden beet salad. They served a very generous portion of lettuce and added all kinds of goodies in it- the burrata, pumpkin seeds , homemade french bread croutons , tomatoe and beets lightly coated with the balsamic dressing - yum! After seeing the menu, my number one choice was the beef Wellington, second choice would have been the Bijou Burger. My SO wanted the Oxtail, but was thinking of an appetizer that would be just right. so the Trout Dip was chosen. This was a half processed fish and half avacado packed into a bowl. Scooping both halves was the best of both worlds. The dip was smooth and great flavors, I would get this again. Then when the entrees came out, and we started eating, half way throught both items were quite heavy and we started to feeling full. The beef Wellington was cooked to a medium consistency, the crust as still firm and mushroom filing great. The oxtail was so tender, it falls off the bone. A different flavoring but fantastic. We ended up taking the oxtail home as it would be diffcult to reheat beef Wellington. No room for dessert. It felt like mostly repeat locals dining here as they chatted with the wait staff a lot, but feel this deserve the hour drive to get here. Parking is avalaible street parking but there is a multi level parking garage near by. We were going to order only 1 churro but the server offered that the churros are gluten free so we ordered two orders! The menu doesn't say this, so FYI. They were one of the best potato preparations I've ever had. Shockingly fluffy and light inside literally like a potato cloud. Maybe the cheese helps with this? I don't know but get them. Salad was good, nice mix of greens. A little wet for my taste if I'm choosing but I'm also not complaining, it was yummy. The potatoes were a perfect dish to come with the salad since otherwise it didn't have a crunch element. This is the first time I've gotten the collar and it was as meaty as it is. I've ordered at other restaurants before and it was not as successful of a dish as here. Loved the sauce and flavors on it. It was kinda sticky due to the sauce but I mean that in a good way, to add to the flavor and overall balance of texture and flavor The snapper lettuce wraps were also yummy! Kind of laborious to get the fish to eat ready but worth the effort, same with the collar too, but also worth the "work" to get the meat off the bones. The snapper has a lot of pin bones but otherwise really yummy bite. The rock wall in the alley creates a whole vibe with the lights and such. It is also one of the oldest walls in Petaluma, which is pretty cool. Slim menu but excellent. The restaurant is tiny, like 6 tables. Being on the patio was nice, more room. Our meal split 4 ways was delicious and filling but also light and sat well in our bellies. I'd absolutely come back again.
