They still are closed and my daughter is done with softball for the year. She doesn't need lessons anymore and I have contacted the previous owners and they will not help me at all. They will not reimburse me and they tell me to wait for the new Elite Sports to open with different owners, but it's been over three months and my daughter does not need lessons anymore. The previous owners are absolutely awful human beings for stealing my $500 and not reimbursing me when they closed.

We used 2 different cages they were sporadic at best and twice threw multiple balls almost hitting my daughter with 1 of the 4 balls it threw. A third batting cage did have the OUT OF ORDER sign on it, I believe ours should have. There appeared to be one good working batting cage. Had to get help at least three times because they were not working at all. The staff (who were very kind) did put more $ on our card but it did not cover what we paid for and did not get. The place is in desperate need of maintenance, upkeep, update etc. because it is a bit of a shamble. Very disappointed!!

Perfect date night or a nice gift for a family member. Additionally, they have batting cages. I have yet to use them but they look fun and I plan to in the future. They fulfilled my Groupon even though it was expired. The Groupon included batting coins, which I am unable to use at this time due to my recent stroke. They kindly allowed me to hold onto them for future use or to give to someone else. Customer service is always friendly. There's also a chance to win a free game of mini golf at the end, which my dad won! So, it is possible. Thank you for the always great experience! I look forward to being back soon!

Alyssa Buck (public information got her full name…read moreoff your company tiktok page!) the worker at the desk was absolutely the most ignorant person and came off very racist! We were on hole one we just got there they gave my father a bent putter, it was his turn to go and went he went to grab the golf ball out of the hole and the putter snapped! He went to go report it immediately and try to get a new one! Alyssa Buck (public information got her full name off your company tiktok page!) immediately accused him on damaging property and went directly into he intentionally snapped the putter was very rude and even the other customers in the place at the time said it was very unprofessional on how she handled the situation! She then asked my father to move to the side of the counter and started accusing him of trying to come around the counter said sir do not step around here AFTER SHE TOLD HIM TO DO SO! Then threatened the cops and my father told her to do so! My father then asked for the manager or owners information and told him "he's at lalapalooza he wont be answering your call" We then asked for a refund (FOR ONLY MY FATHERS GOLF TIME BECAUSE HE WAS UNABLE TO PLAY!!! So maybe ask your employee the truth)because our time that was supposed to be a good time celebrating our last time all together due to my brothers going out of state for college she told us "sorry it don't work like that "HUN" very unprofessional! Anyways we were banned from going there. Highly don't recommend people that talk to people of color like they are dogs because my family dont snap until were disrespected. Anyways heres us below!

My Groupon deal was $14 for all of that for two people - 12 batting cage tokens (12 pitches with each token) which is normally $1 per token or $5 for 6 tokens. 2 hot dog combos with chips and drinks normally $4 each, and two rounds of mini golf which is a $10 value. My friend and I went on Tuesday when it was 100 degrees out so we were really feeling the heat but I had so much fun! It was fantastic to have it all right there in one place plus their concession stand had a decent variety of drink choices and a few flavors of Dippin Dots. When we were ready for our hot dogs, we sat in a nice shaded picnic table area. All the young guys & girls working at the Hub were helpful & friendly and didn't have the lackadaisical attitude sometimes displayed by teens in their summer jobs. The Hub has a spray pool but we didn't go in there - it was filled with kids & their weekday babysitters. The batting cages were great - 4 cages with different speeds of softball & baseball pitches. Please note, I own at softball. :) The mini golf was a fun time but not the fanciest mini golf I've ever been to, pretty plain. I think they could amp it up just a tad to make for a bit more fun! All in all, I had a great time at The Hub and wouldn't hesitate to go back!

You could spend an entire day here! The family went on a Sunday to use our Groupon. We did the mini-golf which was just fine. The course doesn't really have a theme but there are lots of butterfly plants and lots of butterflies. We also visited the batting cages. My five year old had a blast. It seems you can also rent out the space for a picnic. There was a large church congregation having a picnic that day. They also have sports fields for football and whatnot.

We had tickets already so walked right in, which was nice. We were told where our seats were and walked up the stairs to get there. We had great seats -- 6th row to the right of the home plate. Before the game started we all got some food. They have a wide selection of food vendors. One of them is the Palatine Barbeque restaurant "I Smell Bacon." I got six wings and a Pepsi. (I will say that I Smell Bacon is better in their restaurant. I found the wings a little undercooked.) It was hat night so when we arrived, we were all given very colorful baseball caps. The seats are typical of ball parks. They weren't particularly comfortable, but not too bad either. They had a Junior High Chorus sing the national anthem, which was nice. We had a great view of the game from our seats. We even got to see the Boomers hit a grand slam! The Boomers put on a good show. Well worth the trip.

The team plays well and its a great local activity to do with friends, family, or significant other.
