Service has gone downhill! The staff has changed. Poor communication. Customer service is not a priority.

Mediocre equipment. Hot trash for customer service. Long time customer who has had constant issues since day 1. You have to HAUNT these people to get customer service. They don't respond to phone calls. They don't reply to emails. Oh, you want a service? Well first you'd better open a ticket with Dynamark (the actual monitoring company) AND GOOD FUCKING LUCK IF THEY REPLY. It's a giant circlejerk of terrible customer service. Since day 1 we've had sensor issues and false alarms. Level2 isn't responsible for the police fees for false alarms, so they don't give a shit. The whole thing is ponzi scheme and love triangle mashup. Level2 blames Dynamark. Dynamark blames Level2 - and all the while the customer just gets stiffed. read more

The installation fees were almost half the price of ADT and Others, just depends on your home and what type of sensors, cameras, glass breaks and home automation you desire. Install was not great. Installer asked me where I wanted the motion sensors but he placed them about 2' feet from the ceiling (my ceilings are 10'), so it looks out of place. Didn't want another hole in the wall so just left it in place. The increase in monthly price is questionable...for example mine went up to $56 due to automation and $60 plus with cameras. read more

One of the most dishonest misleading companies I have had the misfortune of dealing with. First of all, where do I start? When I signed up they told me that if my business were to shut down I would not be binded by a contract. The business getting shut down would satisfy the agreement. They also said the equipment would be owned by me outright. And it would not need to be returned. THEY LIED! I got harassed over some ridiculous payment to buy out the contract. They sent somebody to my house to collect the equipment. And they also lied about the original credit check not being a hard inquiry (which it was). I wrote a well deserving, 1star Yelp review and was called by the company who "all of a sudden" cared. I made them a deal and that was to remove the hard inquiry and stop harassing me over a contract buy-out and I would remove my yelp review. They agreed. It has been months now and no more harassment. But I still have a hard inquiry on my credit report. I expected to see this removed after patiently waiting for the bureau to update. But now it has been months and the inquiry is still on the report. OBVIOUSLY, Level 2 never removed the inquiry. read more

My installer Angel came in Today to my shop and installed an alarm system and camera setup. Angel was extremely professional and polite and efficient at installing everything. We first discussed where the camera placement should be and then he gave extremely good advice based off of what I wanted to view from the camera setup. After installing everything and the camera angle was slightly not perfect, he had no hesitation to redo all 4 cameras and the result was a flawless view from all angles!!! He showed me how everything works step by step with the alarm system until I fully understood and he was extremely calm with showing me a few things multiple times until he was for sure I understood it all! Then he ran all the tests to make sure everything was 110% perfect before he left! Clean and well organized with all his tools and equipment! I seriously could not of had a better installer!!! We was signed contract for 3 years and we have 1 year left. Recently we have problem call Level2 and find out they drop montronic with new company Danamark. The part is we signed contract with level2 not any other services as my knowledge. Ending up they pointing finger no longer supports if Monotronic. New client beware don't get signed contract then you will like me $57/m for my business supposedly peace of mind but not protect my business and investment. Bad service walk away from their monitor alarm company for new one but then let their local clients no help. read more

Very unprofessional company. We have been trying to get our cameras set up for over a month and the first person to install didn't write down any user information so when the second person came out they couldn't help us. We were told they would have to contact the manufacturer and schedule an appointment later that day. NOT one phone call and it's been 2 weeks! Also don't bother picking a time frame of when to have someone come out because they come whenever they want. They also never leave you a message when they actually call, leave a message so I can call back, how do I know it's Level2 if no message is left and it's just a random number?? I have so many other issues with them. I cannot wait for my contract to be done so I can cancel their services. BTW they will call you and ask you to remove your Yelp review in exchange for $80. No if you want me to take this review down you'll let me out of my contract for free. We still can not access the footage on our cameras. We've had people look into our cars and steal stuff from the front yard yet we can't access the footage when we need to. I tried calling on a Saturday for them to help me over the phone and they couldn't, now I have to wait until Monday to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about to help me with the cameras. I need that footage now not in 3 days. At least have people working on the weekends know how to properly troubleshoot the cameras over the phone. read more

This review is long over due.  My Friend referred me to Griselda with Level2 Security when I told her I was looking for a security system. I spoke with Griselda, told her I was looking for cameras as well as an alarm system, and she gave me a couple package options.  Once we spoke details, she immediately set me up with one of her specialists and they were at my house within a few days.   Griselda's point of contact was Cinzia who kept me up to date with the process, what to expect, and how long the installation would take.  Any questions I needed answered, Darlene  was available to answer and still does to this day.  They were extremely professional and their pricing is great; they're even there to help you out AFTER your system has been installed.  I've already referred them to my Family and will continue to do so to anyone who needs an alarm system.  Thanks Level2 Security! read more

Stay as far away as you can from this 'supposed' security company. When you are looking for security for your home or business you are also looking for a reputable honest company that you can put your trust in to protect your property and family. This is hardly the case with this company. From the get go they will feed you misleading and untrue information about the services they supposedly provide. They will tell you they operate their own central dispatch center - UNTRUE. They sub-contract with an out-of-state center that is so pathetic that they are not even listed with The Better Business Bureau!! They also use a really expensive third party company to process their video and alarm signals also out of state. So in fact what does Level 2 do on their own other then trying to hustle you into a long contract and then have somebody else do the work? Not too much other then their sales guy who it seems is perhaps one step above (or below depending on your perspective) a con artist. Newton Johnson (sales guy) will promise you anything you want to hear but the delivery is lacking on this companies part other then forcing you into a long term contract that you can never get out of. NOW FOR THE BEST PART: This company does not appear to be properly licensed to perform the work and services they are attempting to market. License laws are in place to insure that the company you are working with are honest and reputable and do not have a criminal background. This is in place to protect the consumer. (No results that came back after a search for this companies license. The only thing that came back was for good old Newton Johnson who had a rent-a-cop guard license that was pulled/expired 5 years ago--but no license was found for Level 2 which is required by law). I highly recommend this company they have been so good to me for years. Whenever I need help or assistance they were there for me.

I have had Level 2 for about 2 years, without any issue, but recently I had a camera go down. I called them and we told there was a $25 fee to come out to check it out. I paid the $25 and they came out and said the camera was bad and replaced it with a new one, 2 months later the same camera went down, so I called the service dept and was told it would be $25 for them to come look at it again. I told them no, I was not going to pay for them to come out when it appears they did not fix it correctly the first time. They stated that was their policy and would not deviate from it. As I look through other reviews it seems as if they are good at selling the product but service is very lacking. read more

My system gave a false alarm due to poor connectivity (which caused an officer responding to my residence) so Level 2 was supposed to replace the 3G card with a 4G one. I made arrangements at work and took half a day off to accommodate an appointment for this morning between 9 and 11am. No one showed up so I called. Apparently they made a mistake and put me on the schedule for the next day. I have a really tight work schedule so I have to make arrangement ahead of time. They didn't make any attempt to remedy the situation. They basically just said no one is available, and with my schedule, nothing can be done this week. If they can't even keep an appointment, how can I trust them with the security of my home? They are slow responding to calls as well and I had to keep calling to finally talk to a live person to schedule an appointment. read more

I made the change from ADT to Level 2 security about 6 years ago and I'm so glad I did. Customer service is way better than the other companies. No automation, you actually talk to a human being unlike other companies. Darlene is such a life saver. She's helped me out in situations remotely that I didnt think was possible. She's very professional and is very knowledgeable with helping me with my system. We had our system installed yesterday and it went great, they took the time to make sure everything was not only done right but that i understood it (that probably took more time than the install) but they stayed patient the whole time and were really informative as well! We purchased our home in January and had our alarm and cameras installed the same week we got our keys. We accidentally set off the alarm a few times in the begging because we forgot we had an alarm. Whoops! We were pleased when the monitoring center was calling within seconds. The install took a few hours and the camera and panel wires are not exposed throughout our place which is a bonus.
