Where they have the friendliest employees (and diners!), the best shredded hashbrowns (Breanna asked us if we wanted onions & throwing caution the wind we said sure!) and onions. Hubby opted for a meat sandwich, and yes, it is perfectly named, and I got the western omelet. The omelet was huge and tasty with equal parts onions, peppers, ham and lots of cheese. I was on the fence with French toast and boy am I glad I went with the omelet. There's just something special that griddle cooking adds to an omelet that takes it up a notch, plus, those onion laden hashbrowns were worth mentioning again. Hubby said his meat sandwich had so much meat that he could have skipped a few meals and still have enough meat to last days. The place was very busy. We snagged the last available table and with there being only one chef, we had quite the wait. Breanna made sure we weren't ignored and when our breakfasts arrived, we dug in and devoured. This is a little far from our house but soon as we left the man asked me when were we going back. As a wrap up, diner fare devotion at super reasonable prices (you get alot of food!) with happy, friendly people. Get there early, take a book or someone whose company you enjoy and settle in as you may have a wait that is worth it. Oh, we got all that food for less than $25 (not counting tax and tip). I will start by saying we weren't able to book a reservation for more than 4 online. When I called the number on their website, a guy answered the phone as if it was his personal cell. I wasn't even sure I had the business at first, but I did. He gave me the number for the bar manager, and I was able to easily book a reservation with her. I booked on a Tuesday. I also reached out to their Instagram page before I called and someone responded that Friday saying for parties of more than 6, a $100 deposit was required. By Friday, the original happy hour specials they had online and the reason for us booking to begin with, changed. They were no longer offering happy hour on Saturdays and the menu items changed a lot! Luckily, the bar manager agreed to honor Saturday happy hour pricing on drinks and on the new menu items since our booking was before the changes were made. We arrived for our a reservation on time, but we weren't seated until maybe 20 minutes or so after the reservation time. Our waitress was Drea and she was nice overall. You could telll she was a little overwhelmed but we felt like she did her best. I had the snapper with broccolini. He then proceeded to tell another staff member we were taking advantage of the server. Like HOW!? We only took what we ordered and turned away anything extra that came out. We only asked for what was missing from our order. He told us we were keeping him from cooking and continued to sit and argue with us until a manager came and told him to go away. Come to find out HE ISNT EVEN THE CHEF! He's a food runner and it was his first day. I hope it was his last, because everything about what he did was uncalled for and just unprofessional. The managers were very apologetic and so was our server. It's really just a shame because aside from that, it wasn't too bad of a night. The restaurant itself is very cute.. nice decor and it has a nice vibe with good music. It definitely has potential to be great. They just need time to get things in order.
