As a layperson, I was not aware that Senvelgo is a high-risk medication that comes with a black-box warning from the FDA. Cats who take this medication are at high risk for developing diabetic ketoacidosis, which can be fatal. Sure enough, my cat developed it and had to be taken to a local specialty emergency hospital, where he remained for 12 days while they tried to save his life. By the 12th day, we came to the conclusion that the treatment was not working, so we brought him home. We spent over $14k at the specialty hospital in an attempt to save his life. We had him for one night so we could say goodbye, and the next morning, we had a veterinarian come to the house for euthanasia. The veterinarian at Dickson, Dr Ashley Whitesell, is the one who prescribed Senvelgo for my cat. She did not present any other options for treatment and pushed this medication as being the "best choice" for my cat. She also downplayed the high-risk nature of the medication. As a layperson, I did not know any better and took her word for it. The end result is that my cat ended up dead because of Dr Whitesell prescribed a highly dangerous medication and did not adequately warn me of the possible side effects, nor did she offer any other treatment options. I will never go back to this clinic ever again, nor will I ever recommend this clinic to anyone. As a side note, the clinic was made aware that Zeus passed away, and not once did I ever hear from Dr Whitesell. No phone call offering condolences, no email, nothing. She knew she screwed up and was too cowardly to face me. Run free, Zeus. My little BFF cat. We miss you.

"just take him home and put him on the garage floor, he'll stay cool" TAKE HIM AND PUT HIM ON THE GARAGE FLOOR???!! Like he was dirt.. The lack of empathy Dr H showed that evening astonished me. You heard me. I learned about them because they started following me on Twitter. Smart move. So when I was running low on food this past Memorial Day, I thought I'd give them a try. So I sent them a DM at 9 am on Monday, Memorial Day (this is important) asking if they could deliver a large bag of Sr. Eukanuba Large Breed and Regular Large breed to my house ASAP. I got a tweet back saying they could get there by 10:30 am. Whaat?? Well at that point I had gone about my holiday working out and visiting friends, so I asked about later. They tweeted and said the regular delivery vehicle was unavailable but Gene would come by at 5:30. So literally, 20 minutes after I came home from my day, a friendly burly guy with 80 pounds of dog food on his shoulders plopped down the food in my pantry. He was overwhelmingly apologetic that it took him so long and for the delay. Double Whaat?? It gets better...The bill was $80. Seriously. At PetSmart, those brands easily will run me $95 to get out the door, so I tipped him that difference and still felt like a winner that I didn't have to schlep out and hurt my lower back transporting the huge bags from my car. A bonus is that if you know how often you go through bags of dog food, you can set up a schedule to ensure you never run out of food and they always have your brand in stock. This is the FIRST time i have ever gotten my dog back from a groomer and his fur was worse than when he went in. There were 3 huge knots in his fur when i pick him up. I thought it was a wet spot from one of the other dogs, it being cage free i felt like that could have happened. I had to cut the knots out. This was VERY unprofessional. And when i tried to call about this.... guess what... NO ANSWER. I am personally holding this business accountable for the condition on my dog's fur. Not only did they leave knots in his fur, but i paid for a de-shed treatment. That was a joke too. He is not any better that when i dropped him off. Looks like just just played with him and put a bandana on him. As far as i can tell he hasn't even been cleaned. He doesn't even smell like a clean dog. Granted he does not stink normally.

He doesn't like his paws to be trimmed (vet was able to do with no medication after they saw how long his nails were). I was not told they weren't trimming his nails and they still charged me full grooming price. They were also saying that they cut his ear hairs yet my vet pulled very long ear hairs (he was groomed at Animal Artistry about a week ago). When I called to get a better understanding of what grooming entails - ear hair and nail trimming- and then said my dog's nails had not been trimmed and no one told me, I was told to speak to Joan. I calmly explained my concern about paying for his nails (I had to pay $15 @ the vet due to his nails being so long). She said sometimes my dog let's them do it and sometimes not. I explained no one ever told me and paid and had to pay again at Vet. Joan began to raise her voice and yell and told me maybe i shouldn't bring my dog back. She kept talking over me, said "love you" and hung up the phone on me. Joan is extremely rude and someone with a volatile attitude that should perhaps not be dealing with people, let alone vulnerable pets. He was awesome and the team working with him was awesome. If there was an issue with a pet waste remover he was able to correct the problem. Grady was always pleasant to work with- Suzanne his niece and I believe Rob her husband took over the business. Since this occurred a couple of years ago, Suzanne made changes with payment methods numerous times. Quite confusing for the customer. But that was not the main problem. Suzanne does NOT have customer service skills, nor does she care about the customer. I had a WONDERFUL woman Vicki who worked for Scooperdude- for a long time- Over months she always was friendly and did an awesome job. She left a few months ago for another endeavor, planned to return however she changed her mind. She was a friend at that point and I was happy for her. THE ISSUE: since Vicki left almost every week I had to go in the yard and pick up my 5 dogs pet waste because some were missed. The policy is a credit for the week's service. That is fine however if the problem is ONGOING- the leader Suzanne is not taking the opportunity to educate the team members. Today I was beeped and the text indicated Scooperdude completed their service. Because of numerous pet waste misses- I went outside and found 2 large poops in the yard. Not far from my patio. I contacted Suzanne- asked who was at my home this morning and sent her pictures. She wrote back and said she could not serve me any longer. She also told me SHE was the person who came today. She has skipped weeks during the time she was "covering" for Vicki and when Vicki was away one week before she resigned- she asked me (always bringing my dogs treats!) if anyone was here the week before because she had double the waste- this occurred twice during Vicki's tenure. The past couple of months a young lady was coming. Unfriendly and missed almost every week- I felt awful having to report misses to the owner Suzanne- and skipped many weeks and picked up the poop myself. I am sad to lose this type of service- and it is UNFORTUNATE that the service has significantly failed. Sadly I believe Scooperdude will go out of business. Be careful if you are using them- and if you need this type of service keep searching. I am doing that after I submit this- God Bless and hug your dogs!!
