While the overall dining experience was enjoyable because of the amazing staff, the meal itself was underwhelming. My wife's 8 oz. filet was ordered medium rare but arrived blue, and my Kansas City ribeye, also ordered medium rare, was served rare. We sent both steaks back, but they were returned still undercooked, which was very disappointing. The front-of-house team handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, the kitchen did not deliver the same level of quality or consistency. I went with my son for a belated (that is, not on the day, itself) Father's Day celebration. He had the Beef Wellington, which is easily a five-star dish. He said it was one of the best steaks he'd ever had. I was a little less fortunate. I tried the Ribeye *with* Caribbean seasoning, and, while it wasn't unpleasant, there wasn't a lot to recommend it, either. A great steak should have simple seasoning, not be overwhelmed by a lot of strong spices. We started by sharing a Calamari appetizer, and it was also excellent. Then we finished with dessert, his the coconut creme pie, and mine the key lime tart. We can definitely recommend both. Overall, 5 stars (but stay away from the Caribbean ribeye). Service: 5 stars. We visited for happy hour and found seats at the bar, where we were greeted by a very friendly bartender. The restaurant itself looks very similar to the one that previously occupied the space. The first thing we noticed was that the bar top was hot to the touch, which made it uncomfortable to lean on. We didn't love that. When we arrived, they were offering both their happy hour menu and Martini Monday ($8 martinis all night). We ordered drinks along with a few happy hour items: one bao bun, an order of chicken tenders, a half spicy tuna roll, and a filet mignon slider. Our food arrived quickly. We really enjoyed the chicken tenders, and the sauce reminded us of Cane's sauce. The filet mignon slider was delicious, but it was tiny for $9. The half spicy tuna roll cost $10, but it was disappointing because it arrived slightly warm. We ate it, but we felt the tuna should have been served cold. The bao bun was just okay. We finished it, but we wouldn't order it again. The pork belly was very chewy and difficult to eat, and the sauce was too sweet for our taste. Even with the happy hour pricing, the chicken tenders were the only item that felt like a good value. Overall, we thought most of the food was overpriced for what we received. This his the first week this place has been open. Our waiter is very friendly and explains the menu and meat offerings well. The interior is not much different from the previous restaurant but it doesn't matter. They have a nice wine list and good cocktails to choose from. We decide that two starters, two entrees and a dessert is good for 3 people. The crab dip is a bit spicy but that's a winner. The crispy Asian salad is right on cue! Well done! We got the grouper because it's hard to find on menus lately and it was a bit over cooked and dry which was to bad. We also go the bone in ribeye which to us is the king of the meat choices. It was tender with great marbling. Could have used a touch more salt and we asked for it medium rare and it came medium but we still thoroughly enjoyed. Then we got the Oreo cake which was definitely fresh because the Oreos were still crispy!! All in all we would go back. It's hard to find qualified staff in the off season of Wellington and this place has great intentions so we would give it another go! read more

First time at this location in Wellington. This is no Okeechobee Steakhouse that's for sure. Wait staff and management were very responsive and professional. The food was good but not at the level of its price. My wife ordered a medium cooked 8oz Filet. It was delivered rare, sent back, again came back rare (new filet) and then same steak was delivered well done at which point both waiter and manager apologized and took it off the bill. One other point is when I ordered my filet I was told no substitution for the potato or risotto. I wanted veggies so had to order an additional side to accommodate my request. I would think a $58/8 oz filet would have an option to have veggies instead of a starch. The bar was packed so there seems to be a happy hour following here but we won't be back for dinner. read more

Wow! A truly wonderful experience from beginning to end. I was thoroughly impressed. They have a few locations and are partners with the iconic Okeechobee Steakhouse. The service at this Wellington spot was outstanding; the collaboration between the servers and management created a seamless, memorable evening. They are true leaders who lead by example. The General Manager, Lucian, was a class act. It was so refreshing to see a leader so involved--he visited almost every table to ensure customers felt welcomed, chatting with them and making sure everything ran smoothly.My waiter, David B., gave me plenty of space to review the menu thoroughly while checking on us at the perfect times; I never had to wave him down once. Our waitress, Anna, was super sweet as well. Management has done a phenomenal job selecting staff. The hostesses were friendly and accommodating, and I want to give a special thank you to the young Colombian girl who managed to get me a table without a reservation, even though they were packed! Everyone was warm and welcoming from start to finish--a refreshing change and exactly what Wellington needed.The food was delicious, freshly made, and packed with flavor. They offer a great variety, including sushi, sandwiches, and specialty items for a quick bite. I started with the cheddar brioche rolls, which arrived warm and absolutely delicious--a must-order if you love bread! For my main course, I chose the roasted chicken breast, originally served over asparagus, lemon beurre blanc, and potatoes, but I substituted the side for the coconut mango risotto. The chicken was cooked to perfection--moist on the inside with a beautifully crisp, flavorful skin. The risotto was hands-down the best I've ever had. It featured tiny pieces of diced mango, balancing sweetness and savory notes perfectly without being overly rich. The accompanying sauce was outstanding; it is easily one of the best chicken dishes around.The only reason I gave the food 4 stars instead of 5 was the dessert. I tried the coconut cream pie, but it had an odd, refrigerator-like aftertaste. It felt way overpriced at $14 a slice, and I have definitely had better. They do have several other dessert options, but I personally wouldn't recommend this one, as I expected higher quality for the price.On the plus side, they are highly accommodating with menu modifications if there is something you don't like. Went to Lewis prime for the first time last night for my husbands birthday. First have to give recognition to our server Adriana, she was sweet, friendly and extremely attentive! I had the Wellington & it was perfect and tasty. Unfortunately my husband ordered the Bison and it had to be sent back, it was the most chewy piecenof meat, he had to spit it out. Came here to celebrate our anniversary and wasn't disappointed. We were greeted outside when the hostess opened the door for us. We didn't have a reservation but quickly got a table (we arrived around 6pm). I don't have a photo of my drink (a pineapple jalapeño mocktail) and our appetizer, the calamari. Drink was delicious, I watered it down a little. The calamari was crispy and the sauce was our fav! I ordered the ribeye with a house salad. I couldn't finish it all. It wasn't charred, which was so nice! My husband had the pork chop and also, delicious. It was a thick cut! We ended our dinner with the Oreo cookie cheesecake. They are not ready for prime time. Service was slow. What made it worse is no bread is offered, if you want bread you have to buy it. $6.00 for 4 rolls. We ordered our apps and entrees at same time because was slow. My entree sucked,beef skewer with chimichuri sauce. The beef was the trimmings from head of the tenderloin. They were little pieces of meat and not cuts of beef. Served on a slice of bread, no veggies and if you want you have to buy those ala cart. My friend had the mojito glazed salmon with the zucchini noodles, it came swimming in water. The noodles were obviously dipped in water but not drained properly. For another example of they not ready for prime time, the table next to ours, the lady ordered a hamburger well done, no pink, after three tries, she cancelled the order. Three manager types could not resolve the issue. How hard could it be to cook a well done burger. Cut a slit in the bottom of the burger and let it bleed out on the grill while cooking. Worth the drive to go elsewhere. Had a reservation for 7:30pm. Waited close to 20min to be seated. That's really ok because I get it, you can't judge how long people will stay. We were never offered to go sit at the bar while waiting even though there was AMPLE seating. Got to our table and we're given menus. I don't think a server even acknowledged us for 10-15min. The place was not really busy. She made her grand enterence and Tina could not have been less enthusiastic to be there. The website advertises "legendary dining experience". I had more enthusiasm and overall social skills from McDonald's. We ordered drinks. My husband gets a margarita. It's served in a glass with no rim detail. Just as the menu described. It wasn't the best , lacked tequila and was mainly juice but I wanted one since I don't care for strong drinks anyhow. We had to flag her down and my husband asked for two more margaritas. She corrected him and said "you mean one , you want one more margarita". He said no I want two, another for me and one for my wife. Right there we really knew this was going downhill and fast. He looked at me and said "we'll never be back". I agreed. After much wait, she decides she'll finally take our order. My husband and I shared the 24oz porterhouse, a salad and two sides. our daughter the prime rib dip. The two margaritas arrived eventually and Tina says "your other drink was supposed to have Tajin, I knew it was missing". Mind you, this drink was not supposed to come with Tajin because my husband doesn't care for it and ordered the drink without ("Golden Hour"). Even after my husband told her he doesn't like Tajin and that it didn't come with it she still left the drinks and did nothing to correct it or even offer. Now, the real problem I had with this scenario was two things. 1. The fact she believed his first drink was wrong yet still served it to him. And 2. Still served him a drink, with an add on not listed on the menu, even after he started he didn't like Tajin. I don't get it. That is not service. Sometime later our salad arrives. The young man was very nice but unfortunately dining was not his forte. He places a large salad down and asks if we need something else. My husband asks for something to serve the salad with since we all were sharing it between the table. He tells us "you'll have to ask your server for that". I stepped in and said no we're not asking for our server we're asking for something to serve the salad with, we are sharing. He understands, I thought, and the returns with a spoon. We just looked at each other and thanked him. Wow. In the meantime, our water had been empty prior to ordering our food and 2 margaritas. They have been to our table a few times and never offered to refill the bottle. We even moved the empty water bottle to the outer edge of the table as an indicator. Still nothing. We finally had to ask the young man who brought us out food to refill it. At least when he got us a fresh bottle and it was cold water unlike the warm water we were initially served. When the salad was cleared Tina decided to mention that restaurant has no steak knives clean and hopefully some will get cleaned before our food arrives. Interesting thing to comment. So since the night is going as great as you imagine , now we get to worry if our knives will in fact be clean or arrive at all. Lucky for us, they came a few minutes after the food arrived. Nothing looked appealing, sadly. Our daughter's French dip looked like burnt ends on over toasted bread. The spinach was the only thing we took a picture of and even laughed when it was put in the table. It looked like microwaved spinach in water that had been sitting under a heat lamp. Our steak was smaller than expected (especially for $95 as the menu said yet it was $99 on the check), but I had hoped it would be good. It was not. My husband eats everything and he didn't even care for it. We eat steaks out and cook them at home often. This had zero flavor, it was cold and was beyond chewy. We tried to salvage it by adding salt but that can only do so much. When we were nearly finished with our dinner, Tina remembered she needed to ask us how things were. We just said good because we wanted to go. We asked for the check, paid and left. It's just sad to me to think this is the experience a restaurant sees as acceptable. We don't have to pay the prices we did tonight for good food and service but we chose to and chose wrong. I wish a manager would have been present when we left I would have like to leave the feedback as very simple tweaks would have made all the difference in our experience. read more

This new steakhouse was mediocre at best, especially for the price. The ribeye lacked marbling and came out overcooked. The chicken fingers were equally disappointing--bland and dry with no crunch or seasoning to speak of. The waiter was a bit over his head but very nice. The steaks were average at best. The temperature of the steak was a over cooked; but I did not want to send it back. THE BIGGEST THING IS THAT THIS STEAK HOUSE NICKLE AND DIMES YOU TO DEATH! They charge for extra things like horseradish sauce or small items like that. They did not bring my wife's mushrooms out. They said that they could either saute or grill onions for my steak. They screwed up and brought sauted onions dripping in butter. I returned it and asked for grilled onions, but the waiter said for some reason they could not grill them. They did not serve any bread and for a supposed high end steak house like Capitol Grill, Abe and Louis, etc. They ALWAYS send out a basket of specialty breads. The service was polite and friendly which is the only reason that this is not a one-star review. The food was atrocious. A complete disappointment. Two in our party had the Beef Wellington (also the reason we tried this restaurant). It is $65 and comes with no side starch (note the 8oz filet is $9 less and comes with a side starch). The Beef Wellington tasted like a restaurant supply bulk purchase not an inhouse item. Very salty and not cooked correctly -- not good. The "For the Table" Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes were unappetizing served in a black bowl, a small serving, and had no flavor (NOT Yukon Gold). The other items ordered Short Rib French Dip and Big Ass Burger. Both were just as disappointing as the Beef Wellington experience. The French Dip tasted like old pot roast soaked in a salt bath. This location is trying to glom off the reputation of Okeechobee Steakhouse with the display of the steak tray and "selling" the idea that the beef comes from Okeechobee Market but they are nowhere near the quality and polish of Okeechobee Steakhouse. We will not return to Lewis Prime Grill and will be surprised if they stay in business. If we want Beef Wellington we will spend a few dollars more and go to Harrys and will continue to visit Okeechobee Steakhouse as an option for a good steakhouse dinner. read more

Took my husband to this new spot for Father's Day. I was excited to try it. I made the reservation 6 weeks ahead of time on line and requested a booth. We arrived and we were warmly greeted and seated right away, however not a booth but a table in a separate room with two large parties. We had a lovely waiter and he immediately asked for our drink requests. I asked for an Appletini (my favorite) and was told the bar couldn't make it. Boo! I settled for a lemon drop. My husband had the ceasar salad and I had the French onion soup. We were happy with the appetizers. We both ordered the 8ounce filets. I asked for medium rare and it was overdone and the waiter agreed. He offered to make it right, he really tried but I again settled for what I got. Come on guys, you are a steakhouse! I expected so much better and the restaurant wasn't overly busy at the time. We ended with peanut butter pie-to die for and oreo cheesecake also very good. I did try on the resy app the restaurant uses to make them aware of my disappointment but never heard anything. The decor was very tacky and not tasteful at all, which negatively affected the overall ambiance. Our starter salad never arrived, and our steak was still raw even after being sent back. The lobster vodka pasta was served at room temperature, and the lobster itself lacked any flavor at all. The loaded baked potato was served with no sour cream or butter. The sautéed mushrooms were truly inedible, they were cold and tasted jarred. We will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to others. They forgot to serve me soy sauce they forgot to bring chopsticks I asked for spicy mayonnaise they forgot that I finally got the soy sauce and chopsticks. Really disappointing experience at Lewis Prime. The only bright spot the whole night was the sweet little hostess at the front who was genuinely kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience went downhill from there. A woman named Leah was rude, dismissive, and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. Tried Lewis last night. Service excellent from the moment we walked in to moment we left, very accommodating and aware. We ordered the oysters and crab dip both delicious. Main was Filets and the Bison, all cooked perfect to our temperature preference. Dessert we tried peanut butter pie and cookie cheesecake. Both great but will say the Cookie Cheesecake you will dream about. FANTASTIC all around. read more
