Gorgeous place but ultimately I was not satisfied. I came in to get my eyebrows waxed and came out to finish the job. I was seated right away and left within minutes. I guess I expected more precise and even eyebrows. My before was just more hairy around the eyebrows and I'm glad she took care of roof and ends of my brows but my brows just don't simply look good. They don't look align and sharp as I imagine. The foundation was set but just need to sharpen the look. $10 plus $5 tip. Overall probably won't be coming back for wax but maybe I'll give the lashes or nails a shot. read more

After a year of going and getting my lashes done, a huge wake up. Given them chance after chance to make it right. I'm finally fed up with the way they take care of their customers. Take is their motto. You bring up issues to them and they prefer to stick by their workers word instead of the client. Even after showing them proof. I was signed up for the monthly volume lash. This cost is 189 dollars a month that doesn't make sense. Everything on their price list is up charged it's never the original price that they actually advertise on the price list. I can go on and on at this point.. I paid 25 dollars for my son's hair cut and they charged him an extra 25. On top of that they didn't even cut his hair correctly they also didn't wash or dry it. It was the most worst experiences and uncomfortable experiences I had as as a black woman in a nail salon. The nail tech who served me was very unprofessional and seemed borderline racist. She was talking about me in Vietnamese and their own translator rated her out. I was not rude or loud or anything, but I think she also did the worst job on my nails on purpose. I will not go back there. This was the lady who did my fingernails. She even started to file my nails aggressively because she was mad at the person who ratted her out. At least the woman who did my feet was a semi decent human being who tried to mediate the situation since I had found out what was going on. *This review is specifically for the Lexie Head Spa* - DO NOT GO HERE! I don't normally leave reviews but my experience with this salon was so incredibly disappointing. My husband and I spent $290 on "Essential Head Spas" which were supposed to be head massages and facials. The service received was unprofessional and not quality - I had Mira, I'm not sure the name of the other person but I can guarantee either of them are not estheticians or licensed professionals for the services they were providing to us. The products used for the facial cleansing was Cetaphil & the moisturizer I was provided to put on after the service (by myself, which I've never done before at other salons) was Olay - if I'm paying top price, I expect top product not something I can get at CVS across the street. Their excuse was it's "hypoallergenic" which my reply is there are far better quality products that are just as such. Part of the package we paid for was also a Steam Facial, which we did not receive. For the head massage, before even wetting my hair, she put a mobile massager which resulted in hair breakage on my hair line because it kept getting tangled. The shampooing and conditioning process was basically just putting product in my hair and washing it out which led my hair to get ridiculously tangled and at the end she threw up my hair (tangled) in a claw clip. I had to request my hair to be blow dried because it was soaking wet - which half way through the process I asked for her to stop because she clearly didn't know what she was doing, tangling my hair more without any additional product besides a shining solution which (if you know about hair care) that's not going to help with tangles, especially at that point. I'm telling you I had knots in my hair. I asked for a leave in conditioner and they didn't have any. I asked for any other serum or product that would help break up the tangles, didnt have any. I walked out with my hair a tangled, frizzy mess. When I went to pay, (assuming the owner because she said her name was Lexie) asked how it was and if there was anything they could improve. I was honest and was told that they would text me with 20% off my next service in addition to 2 complimentary services. It's been a week - have I gotten that text, no? Considering we didn't even get the full service we paid for, I would expect to not have to pay full price for the service THAT day but trying not to be difficult and appreciative of the offer, I said okay. A week later I'm more upset - they took my money, provided a horrible service and also didn't provide what they said they were going to make up for it. Overall, just seems like an unprofessional disingenuous business that is just trying to provide any service to get money even though they don't have the trained professional staff for it which is very upsetting as a customer. read more

It was an act of congress to book an appointment from out of town. I tried emailing first - after 4 days of no response (DON'T PUT THAT AS A CONTACT OPTION IF YOU WON'T CHECK IT), I called them and got voicemail. I left a message - didn't get a call back but got a text. Went back and forth saying I wanted to book an appointment and then they disappeared that way. I tried calling again - got voicemail and a text. It was like I had to beg them to make me and my friend an appointment. So that's a bitter start. Checking in was fine, we were taken to a room and set up. The room was very relaxing and comfortable laying on the table. It started out great with brushing and combing and massaging with little brushes. The facial part was nice, but I can't stand the feeling of latex on my skin so the "massage" part for the neck, shoulders and face is ruined with the creepy rubber feeling. The massage part on our heads was this hard raking with fingers in gloves which again was a complete turnoff. When I get my hair done by a beautician, they use their real hands to scrub my scalp with the washing and that is heaven....I expected more of that rather than a gloved latex hand raking their fingers hard across my head back and forth. Use some nice fingers and scrub the scalp people. The blow dry at the end with tea and cookies was nice and relaxing. I was soooo excited to try my first head spa. I very much enjoyed part of it but the heavy rubber gloves on my head and skin are NOT relaxing. It would have felt better to simply brush or comb through the hair with a utensil rather than the gloves. read more

I've been coming here for years to have my lashes done and today i decided to try the head spa... let me tell you ladies (or men whatever) this experience heals your inner child! there's something about having someone wash and brush your hair that takes you back to laying in your moms lap... seriously! it's much more than a hair wash it's a deep cleaning of your scalp, head, face, neck and arm massage AND a facial all included. honestly i think this is the most premium level of self love and self care you can give yourself.Do yourselves a favor and try this! read more

I wish I didn't believe that once you are an established client, any attempt to ensure client satisfaction goes out of the window. It's unfortunate, however it quickly becomes, "how many services can I get you to believe you need, while providing questionable service?" When your lash tech is out, you will be serviced with anyone that is available. This has quickly become a "bodies in chairs," and quality has taken a back seat. You will frequently get last minute text messages that your technician "us out, but we will take care of you," which usually means that whomever is available will be what you have to settle for. It also feels uncomfortable to have someone "push" services (facials) on you while in the midst of getting lashes done. Feels awkward... Alas, I will return to my search for a new salon. read more

Save yourself some sanity, and skip this place. I have tried a few lash salons and I pass right by this place in my way to the chick I see over 30 min away (and will continue to do so). I've tried this place on 3 different occasions, and was willing to switch with it being considerably closer, but each time I went was a disappointment. First time: my lashes looked great, the lady who did them was fast. I got home and immediately had a closeted of 5 fans fall off from the inside of one eye (leaving a noticeable chunk missing). I called the next AM and made an appointment to get it fixed. Repair appointment: I waited for almost 45 minutes for my "appointment". I finally walked out and someone chased me down on the parking lot and said she could help me. I was not waiting on a specific person, so not sure why it took so long if someone was available to help me immediately upon leaving. A repair 24 hrs after original appointment shouldn't even take 45 minutes. Third appointment: I called saying I needed a fill, and that I hadn't been to this salon in a while. I let the wonder know I was sent a bday coupon (it expired the day after my bday). She said not a problem, she would honor it. She asked what I do, I let her know full volume. She told me it would be $80. Not a problem! My appointment started almost 20 minutes late. The chick who did my lashes never introduced herself, never asked my name. She put a ridiculous amount of tape all over my eyes so it's incredibly uncomfortable, I can't even open them... this is not normal. She put what I assume is prep on my lashes, gets it in my right eye. It BURNS! We get most of the way though and she leaves, for a long time. She was eating lunch. She brought some back with her, so she is munch over my head while my lashes are drying (smells like goldfish). She proceeds to ask me a bunch of questions that got less appropriate including "where do you usually go? How often? How much do they charge you? Who do you use?" Etc... not sure why she felt she needed to know the name of my lash tech. Also, you're going to ask the name of who does my lashes, but never introduce yourself... or ask me my name? (They have a sign in via iPad but she didn't take me out of que, she just walked up to me and said, "do you have an appt?". Once she returned form letting me dry, she asks me to open my eyes, I can't... too much tape... and SHE GLUED MY LEFT EYE SHUT! It took over 10 minutes for her to separate the outside corner of my eye. When she removed the tape, it's painful because she stuck a bunch of strips to my eyebrows. When I make it to check out, they ring me up for full price. I let the chick know that Lexi had told me I cousin use my bday coupon. Then Lexi came over and said I couldn't, stating that I was missing a little more than expected, and that I was lucky they weren't charging me more, because they usually charge more when you don't regularly use their salon. My only problem with this is that she knew that when I made the appointment, and confirmed I could use my 20% discount. The tech showed a pic of my lashes saying they needed extra, but didn't bother talking to me about it while I was in the chair. I also let Lexi know the tech glued my eye shut, she didn't say anything. I paid and left, told her I'd never be back... and I tipped well. I honestly regret that. Got my eyebrows done with nanoblading technology and they look amazing!! I have very fine to no eyebrows so I draw them on daily, this beauty enhancement was worth every penny!!! I wake up and wash my face and go, it's huge time saver!! PLEASE NOTE: the coloring starts off mildly dark but will lighten up about 50% once eyebrows are completely healed up. There's very mild peeling after procedure. I was scared the color wouldn't match because I'm platinum blonde but the color looks very natural most people have no clue they were paid for :) read more

I would not recommend this place at all. Refusing to give me my money back after botching this cosmetic procedure. I have up front showed her a pic of what I wanted. Never did she say she couldn't or it would cost extra. I do promotions and modeling so not only has this effected my job its effected my confidence. I even offered to promote her business after getting what i wanted. And this clearly wasnt that. I had asked her to fix it. I went in. Showed a clear picture like hey this is what I asked for and this is what I got can u please fix it. And the same thing happened. Clearly nothing liked the picture I asked for. When I asked her for a refund she got very defensive and would all of a sudden claim I didn't pay when I have always paid and tipped well. Some in cash and some on cash app. I didn't expect to be deceived and lied to. At least be honest you messed up instead of making lies up. The eyelashes I had also showed a picture up front as well and when it was done if I said I didn't like it. She would just be like it better on you. But that's not what i asked for. And I drove 30 minutes to get to this place so it's not like I could just come at the wim and get it fixed. I didn't have a great experience here. I was looking for somewhere to get lashes for the first time, somewhere inexpensive (compared to other places in the area) but had good reviews. I decided to make an appointment with Lexie Lash Bar & was extremely disappointed with the visit. Firstly, when I walked in for my appointment there was no one at the front desk to greet me. I stood around like a lost puppy for a good while before a lady who was working on someone else's lashes pointed at me and asked me what I wanted. I told her I made an appointment for lashes & she told me to check in on their iPads/digital check in stands and go wash my lashes at their sink. As a first timer, I had no idea what that meant or what the correct method was to wash my lashes. I asked the same lady how to do that and she acted like I was bothering her (since she had a client in her chair). She told me "everything you need is there" and waved me off to the sink. The room was dead silent & full of ladies on both sides laying in chairs. The lashes are not done in private or separated by walls. It was like a factory with staff members pumping out clients so I felt embarrassed having to even ask what to do in front of everyone else who already looked settled and relaxed in their seats. I had an appointment but still had to wait about 20-30 minutes after my appointment time for someone to have a seat available. Once they did, they asked me what I wanted to which I had no idea since it was my first time. I made it clear it was my first time but they still did not explain any options, lash menu or show me any examples & since I already felt embarrassed for not knowing, I just told her "something that looks natural and feathery?". She got started and immediately I felt my eyes water/burn. I thought it was normal but it definitely felt like she was rushing to get the job done. The end result was Meh! They felt thick, clumpy & uncomfortable at my lash line (I wish I took pictures but I didn't love them enough to do so, I figured I got what I paid for and left). They looked shiny/plastic in the sun & started falling off after a few days/about a week. I did get a cute care package at the end of the appointment (with a brush and cleanser) but the aftercare was not explained. I felt rushed in & rushed out. Personally I did not have the greatest experience. I paid $275 for a full set to have to go back twice within the first week for a fix. Then $80 for a fill that didn't go well (done in less than 20 min.) That being said, this is just my experience. I came here to get lashes for my wedding. They were the worst lashes I've ever gotten. I do my own cluster lashes, kiss kits at Ulta. Also, I have gotten eyelash extensions in multiple states and this was the worst experience and quality by far. They flip and turn around and just look terrible. It's impossible to correct them. No matter home I brush them out, they will not lay correctly and I refuse to rip my natural eyelash out to not deal with the problem. The lashes glare from sunlight - legit A DRIVING HAZARD!!!!! I won't return. Worst lashes ever and hurt my eyelid. I've never had lashes stab my eyes. Lash extensions should be put on one by one... one lash extension to one single lash. Not a cluster lash out on a single lash. Cluster lashes are a service I can do myself at home.... Better!!! Lexie and her team makes you feel so comfortable (literally) while getting your lashes done. i have gone to many places where they have you lay flat on a hard table and after 20 minutes your lower back is hurting so badly, but here they have reclining chairs, multiple pillows, and blankets to make you so comfortable throughout your appointment. i have yet to see someone there who hasn't fulfilled my expectations and made sure i was happy with the results. This place messed up my eyelashes. You're suppose to glue one set of extensions on one eyelashes. They were gluing sets on multiple of my eyelashes just clumping them together. Even after I had them off there was glue stuck all in my eyelashes and my new girl was struggling to get it out (couldn't get all of it either) the eyelashes they use are hard and always felt gross after having them for a little. I would be schedule for one person and then someone else would do mine. A lot of the times they wouldn't even ask how I wanted them and the style I liked. If your ever wanting to go here be aware. When you walk in, you are greeted and told to go wash your lashes. So you stand at the back by a sink washing your lashes. Then, you sit down and the last tech gets started. Unfortunately, it's going to sting and burn because the tech is putting the lashes on your lash line. FYI, eyelash extensions shouldn't burn. This service was burning. To make matters worse they put eye drops in your eyes so it can cool off the burning. My lashes are stuck on my lash line and won't come off. Not sure if they understand that it shouldn't be burning or hurting at all. read more
