Dearest Lexington Citizens and shoppers, With great regret and sadness I am entering this review after a long year and 3 months of patiently waiting to end a lost ring case. I was given a beautiful diamond cluster ring after my mother's passing in late 2010. It was her wedding ring given to her by my grandmother. Her mother in law. I walked into this local store to pick up a gold bracelet ordered by my mother for my daughter. When I picked up that gold bracelet, the receptionist noticed my mother's diamond ring on my figure was very large and I was holding it back with my own band ring. She recommended that I remove it and that she could have the Artinian's re-size it. She said they would do it within a weeks time. This was on Oct. 29. My slip indicates this clearly. Guess what? They lost it? My mother traveled from Syria where the ring was given to her, to Lebanon where she raised 4 children, to NY to start a new life, then to Mass. to settle in Lexington. She took care of this ring safely and infact all her treasures. It was in perfect condition, brilliant in appearance. The Artinian's of Lexington lost this ring between Nov. 12th to the Monday after Thanksgiving weekend when after several calls from my end I was finally told they couldn't find it. Thank you Artinian Jewelers for loosing a diamond ring my mother held onto for the 58 years of marriage in four different homes. You remarkably did this all within two weeks of time. My fiancee and I wanted to design an engagement ring together and did not really know where to begin. After looking up some ideas on the internet for inspiration, we found out about Artinian Jewelry and decided to give it a try. She checked in with us during the production of the ring if she felt there was anything that might turn out differently than what we discussed. Additionally, being from Cambridge, the drive to Lexington always felt like a treat and certainly worth it when we saw the final product, which was more beautiful than we could have imagined! I really love Artinians! I highly suggest going to them. My fiancé got my engagement ring here. Alicia was fantastic to work with. First, we went in together and looked at some different rings. She was so helpful in considering my lifestyle and my likes and dislikes in helping me decide on a ring. She had a very 'no pressure' attitude which helped to relax me because I'd been to a few chain jewelry stores that were very pushy. Alicia also seemed focused on making sure I got something I loved. My fiancé ended up having my ring custom made. I wasn't there for that meeting but he said it went great and they worked well with him. The ring is gorgeous and I get a lot of complements on it! A year later it's still super sparkly. We've liked Artinians enough that we're now going back to look at wedding rings. They listen, they get it, and their custom work is wonderful! I was seeking to turn my beautiful diamond engagement ring into a lovely ring to wear on my right hand. I was very emotionally attached to the diamond, having worn it for over 18 years, but it had been nearly four years since my husband passed away and it was now time for the ring to move from the left hand to the right hand. I wanted something, modern and simple - I wasn't looking for a flashy cocktail ring, but I also needed it to not look like a 'right hand engagement ring'. I had 2 sentimental rings from my girfriend's (and now fiance) Mother and Grandmother that I wanted to combine into one engagement ring. We had our wedding bands custom-made at Artinian and we could not be happier with the rings or the process. Without and appointment we walked in with just an idea of what we wanted. Michael sat down with us, asked us some questions, and took some measurements. A couple of weeks later he showed us some mock-ups of the design, which we tweaked a bit. When we returned to pick up the rings, we were overjoyed with the result. They are gorgeous and completely unique. We love that they were actually handcrafted - not designed and then sent somewhere to be cast; Michael is truly an artist. I recently had Artinian Jewelery hand make an engagement ring for me. The design I proposed was very complex & ended up not working with the diamonds I already had. I bought my engagement ring from Artinian and my fiance loves it. Alicia helped make the process less stressful and gave me all the information I needed to buy the ring. They are very honest and there is no pressure to sell up. If you have Artinian jewelers design a piece for you, have someone else take you to pick it up or take a cab 'cause you won't be able to take your eyes off the piece on the drive home. After my parents passed I brought my parents' rings (none of which I would ever wear) to Mr. Artinian (Gary) and asked him to design a new piece from the materials contained in the originals. With very little instruction, he fabricated a ring which I absolutely love. It is exactly what I wanted... not knowing myself what I wanted. I have been dealing with Artinian's for over 25+ years. Using our parents jewelry, Gary has updated pieces for us to wear. My husbands wedding ring is part of his Dad's ring (which was very thin), gold was added to it. My Dad's onyx ring made into a female ring for my sister;various diamond earrings made into a necklace, pieces from various earrings made into a brooch, duplicated a favorite brooch that broke.
