The selection in the showroom was pathetic, the only car that I wanted on the floor was "sold" but for some reason was still sitting there. I did not have a great experience as I normally would here at Lexus of Brookfield. Marylou was my service agent. I purchased my 2022 Rx450h from Butler Lexus in Atlanta three years ago. I also paid off the extended warranty and vehicle in full in the same month, before relocating to Wisconsin. I have had flawless service up until now. I brought my vehicle in for service as I normally would when the service light came on. The only thing that I can conclude is that maybe Marylou wasn't having a great day and chose to not provide a level of customer service I know Lexus to provide. She asked would I just be doing my 55,000 mile service and I responded with I'm not sure, what does that consist of? She advised that it was just a tire rotation and I was on board. I then told her about the warranty (rim/360) that I would like to utilize while there. She looked in the system and said she didn't see history of me having that warranty. I advised that this has happened before and Rome was able to get the information needed to carry out the claim. It should also be listed in the history of my past service. She scrolled briefly and said no I'm not seeing it. I also suggested that if Rome was available, he would be able to help her find out how he verified the warranty. She advised that Rome wasn't customer facing anymore which I responded that I understood but that they could have a conversation to assist her with finding out how to verify the information. She pretty much insisted that I call to verify the information or provide an email to prove I had the service. I asked specifically that shouldn't this be handled Lexus to Lexus that way they'd have the information for the future and she said no, and that she'd ask Rome how he verified it. I asked about a loner vehicle because she advised that the wait would be longer. After me saying I'm not use to things being handled this way, She then mentioned, "I didn't even have an appointment." I also asked about my back passenger door and the clicking sound it was making and she said it would be $200. I asked again for clarification and she advised yes $200 and just stared at me. I let her know that I'd no longer be getting my car serviced and returned the key tag and car tag... Marylou was dismissive and rude. I went to the lobby to take a meeting and I was able to speak with Rome as I saw him in the lobby. He was helpful as always and I let him know that I appreciated him because I know that due to his new role assisting me wasn't his responsibility. I asked Rome if I wanted to speak with a different service agent would that be okay and he said yes, just stop in with whoever is available. Jacob was working when I stopped by to see if he would assist me. Jacob provided clear insight and great customer service. He advised that the diagnostic is in fact $200 but took the time to explain that if I then got the car serviced with Lexus that the $200 fee would be comp'd. He also told me that when he faces the common issue with warranty (Lexus dealerships have different third parties) that HE CALLS the dealership where the car was purchased to confirm the warranty and claim requirements. Marylou's service almost caused me to never return back to this location. She also advised that they did not have a loaner vehicle, which was untrue as I heard it being offered in the lobby for a gentleman sitting right next to me. I appreciate Rome and Jacob's willingness to provide customer service! I will also do a separate review to give the two of them the stars and recognition they deserve! read more

Was interested in a used vehicle, but live 3 hours away. Was told by like 3 different people to come on in and test drive it. I text the internet sales guy (Branden I believe) telling him I was starting to head that way but to please reassure me there are no major issues with the car, because if I planned on driving almost 200 miles to get to them, I would want to make a deal. He stated he would go check for me. 80 miles later, (A little more than an hour after I asked him to check quick) he texts and says oh sorry, the car isn't here. It is getting some paint work done and should be back tomorrow. I was less than pleased as I had been told by multiple people to come in and check it out. I turned around, and made it about 15 miles back towards home when my phone rang. It was the dealership. "We were finally able to get a hold of the paint company and they stated the car will be back to our lot in 30-45 minutes." I informed them I was already 15 miles back towards my house but they wanted me to turn back around and come see the car. Reluctantly, I did. When I got there, a nice older lady at the desk asked who I was there to see. I told her honestly I don't know, I think I talked to 4 people, to which she admitted they are terrible about doing that to people, but then I was able to remember Branden's (I think) name. Branden came out, but then told me to wait as he would pair me with a sales rep. No problem. I meet the sales rep, and he was honestly the best part of my experience. I am sorry I cannot remember his name, it was foreign, difficult to pronounce and impossible to spell from memory. But he was VERY nice. We looked at the car, test drove it, I was happy with the vehicle and was ready to try and make a deal. I had done all of the math as far as asking price, TTL etc and knew what the total out the door should have come to. Shocker, they handed me the paper showing the out the door price and it was over $1000 more than what it should have been. Why you ask? Because they slapped on a bunch of unwanted, and unneeded "Dealer Options" Such as Door edge PPF, some sort of cup holder protector (for $100 mind you) and Nitrogen in the tires. Long story short, I gave them my cash offer, and they came back with a number $204 less than their original. I told them I didn't want any of those extras, but alas, that's where they hide more profit. Spend $100 on the stuff, and charge us over $1000. I walked away, and will not return. read more

This dealership constantly oversells. They get you in for the regular maintenance and of course there will be another needed service. It's a joke. I would not step foot in this dealership. There are many other places that service Lexus. My last service I was told I needed an A/C refresher for 270.00. Last time I needed a 700.00 repair of spark plugs at 35,000 miles. Every time they will try for a new repair. When I checked out, I was charged for a fob battery. I did not ask for it since I just replaced it. The next day my car alerted me that my key fob battery was dead. I would never trust them to do any repair they say they are doing. Done with this dealership. They sold us a used vehicle with dummy sensor to keep off the check engine light so we wouldn't even think to check the codes with our own mechanic. Found out we have a transmission failing. We bought a used vehicle and within less than a week took it in indicating a sputtering transmission issue. They said they checked the codes, found no issue, and indicated it was normal for Nissan to act this way when cold outside. Come July and issue still an issue, even when hot outside or car warmed up...brought back in and they checked codes and said no issue. Two weeks later we take it to our mechanic. He finds dummy OBT connector, so he has to remove it to check codes, and he gets 2 transmission failure codes. Lexus said they check codes for all vehicles before selling, but do they put on the dummy sensors before they sell them too? read more

Long story short, bought a car from Peter Fuetterer at Lexus of Brookfield. Since owning the vehicle I have had nothing but problems and after putting 800 miles on the vehicle I found out the vehicles engine was shot. Called and emailed the vehicle dealer to let them know and see if they would work with me. Peter and Lexus of Brookfield refused to help at all and told me I'm on my own since I passed on an extended warranty. Ironically the finance guy literally said, "You can pass on the warranty, I enjoy billing people for large repairs." Guess I should have taken the hint that Lexus of Brookfield, Peter, and the finance department does not care at all about their customers unless they have that extended warranty. Needless to say, I'm out a lot of money right now, all because I didn't get an extended warranty from Lexus of Brookfield. I did not expect them to pay for it outright, but I certainly would have thought they would have tried to help in some way which was not the case at all. Instead I got a very defensive salesman and a very uncooperative dealership. Don't get me wrong I may have been slightly agitated at the time of the call, but can you blame me? In conclusion, I would absolutely recommend their extended warranty since their service department is so incompetent they would miss pretty much anything when inspecting a car. Your other choice is to buy a car from a reputable dealer and stay away from Napelton owned Lexus of Brookfield. Your call though, and best of luck to people purchasing from this dealer who is pushy, charges for addons THEY already put on the car, and just all around has poor customer service. They have a really nice rating here on Google that I'd bet is incentivized, because it certainly isn't due to outstanding customer service. Update: After speaking to the General Sales Manager, Michael Wandrey, nothing was resolved. In fact, nothing was even offered to remedy the situation. Michael made sure to let me know that he was in (corporate) chats all day in regards to the vehicle and basically tried pawning the situation off to one of Napleton's service directors who told me they really could not help me in this situation. First of all I don't take this lightly, writing a negative review. This is my fourth vehicle purchased from the dealership. All of which have been a delight. My main area of disappointment is the delivery of the vehicle. It was a 2020 Audi. It had only 6000 miles. The day of picking up the vehicle it was given to me with an empty take of gas. I didn't need it full, but empty? I'm spending almost $50,000 on a car and you hand it over on empty? After driving it for 5 minutes I kept getting a warning of SOS malfunction every 5 minutes. When I get home I decide to look at the owners manual to try and diagnose the issue. The owners manual is missing. I then try and log into the vehicle to setup Bluetooth, garage opener etc... The original owner is locked in as the Key User and is unable to be removed except through the dealer. I was also supposed to have a special ceramic type coating applied to the paint. The hood, roof and trunk all felt of speckles of sap. They offered to fix that. I ended up having to bring it to an Audi dealer. I was without the car for 5 days. It turns out there was an open recall on the vehicle. Obviously it was not checked over very well, or at all for that matter. I would not recommend them as I have in the past. read more

Found the car that was right for us here. Peter was super friendly to work with. Car is great quality (so far) even though we chose used. Two areas of improvement - we had approximately $1000 tacked onto the price for essentially 3M tape that had been applied around the doors and handles ("we can't take it off") and nitrogen sprayed into the tires ("we can't take it out") and this felt a little bit like a hoax. Especially the way us was presented at the final part of the decision to purchase. Also, thankfully my husband was willing to stay on to finalize the deal because it took almost 4 more hours for the financing with multiple "protection packages" and other expensive options pushed by the financing department. If they could streamline the finance process and nix the shady salesmanship on the extras, it is a place I would return to in the future. read more

Well, I finally picked up the car today. Why is that remarkable? Because I dropped it off on June 10th!!! I'm no mathlete, but that's 27 days!! After I did some serious complaining, LOB did step up to fix the stank vent problem. They disinfected, they ionized, they sterilized, hell - they may have one hour martinized at some point. They repeated....again...and again. They scoped the vents and oh snap! Mold! So they tore the whole car apart to find that the evaporator was crusted in mold. They replaced that, put the car back together and....the a/c didn't work. So they took it apart again...but what's two or three extra days when you've been waiting for 3 weeks? Finally, today it's done. And what, you ask, does it smell like? Faintly bleach-like...the smell of the Gods after what it was. So - bottom line, after I made a stink (pun intended) they made it right and they really improved communication. They just took 27 days to do it. It sure wasn't a great experience, but the problem is fixed. Maybe someday I'll be able to join my friends in having a laugh about it. Today was the last time I will do business with Lexus of Brookfield (Napleton). Both of our Lexus vehicles are nothing but problems and we get zero help from Lexus of Brookfield. We bought a 2018 RX 350 that had to have its third dashboard put in. The radio shorts out the entire dashboard. The first time they claimed they fixed it but they put a refurbished radio in which caused the same problem. The radio they put in now does not have an ID number so you cannot get Sirius XM radio on it. I'm tired of taking it back for the same problem so I will just listen to local radio! Today I brought our 2010 I S250 back to Lexus of Brookfield because tires they put on four years ago continue to leak. We are constantly filling them up with air to the point that the tire is damaged now. They said it's not their problem because the tires are subpar. They were the ones that put subpar tires on my car. I never asked for a specific brand of tires. Then they claim the damage to the tire is from me hitting something which I know for 100% that I never hit anything. These tires leaked air from the day they were put on my car and I had returned to Lexus of Brookfield many times to have the problem solved. Where they had a car priced for $30K and literally once they had me come up and meet them in person they added several other "Dealer Fees" that no one else in the market charges and made the car price to $33K plus Taxes, registration, etc fees. Anyone with a newborn knows that it is hard to make even an hour trip. When we got there we were promptly greeted but waited and waited but they couldn't find the keys so we couldn't see the inside of the car and they said it was sold even though it was still listed on the website as available. I took a vehicle here to get an inspection before purchase from a dealership in Milwaukee. The service took about a half hour longer than stated, which is no big deal and I got a decent amount of information but a few things weren't addressed. There was a tire pressure symbol on the dash that was on which didn't come up in the review, which I thought was odd. After I purchased the vehicle and went to get gas I noticed a nail in the back left tire. I was about 200 miles from home so it seemed necessary to take care of that so I took it to a tire place and sure enough the tire was punctured costing $20. Price was no big deal, but that is something that should have been caught and fixed upon inspection, especially considering the $175 cost of inspection. Additionally, I found that the rear right passenger window does not work. That is certainly something that should have been presented through inspection and a point of negotiation in purchasing the vehicle. I called the service manager to discuss these items, last messages during the week, and finally got a call back two days later. The manager was very defensive and said the nail could have embedded itself after the inspection. This is technically possible but given the warning light likely not the case. He also said the window motors slowly fade out sometimes but failed to acknowledge the fact that that was missed. I asked for a refund and he declined flatly and defensively and offered a $25 in store credit at his service shop, which is 3.5 hours away from me. Part of the reason I was into buying a Lexus IS the service is supposed to be world class. My experience was anything but. Lastly the quote for repairs was double that of a local mechanic and I've heard they can be pricey, but $5000 to replace an exhaust manifold is absurd and a gouge if you ask me. I work extremely hard to be able to afford the things I buy and I expect the same sort of diligence with customer care that is ostensibly purported to be the best. read more

When they finally "found" the second one they said I should come in when I had time to pick it up. This isn't quality customer service -- it is pathetic! When I returned the Lexus after the lease it took an hour of sitting around in the waiting room while the salesman handling my return was on the phone trying to make a sale.
