I am from Dubuque Iowa. I was in Omaha on a Saturday for a charity event. I noticed my brakes were grinding. No one was open, so I called Lexus of Omaha. They asked me to come in so they could take a look, as this was a safety issue. They told me they couldn't promise to fix the brakes that day as they were booked solid and short staffed. I explained I was in town for the day, 5 hours from home, and had an international flight to catch in Chicago on Monday. Sure enough my front & rear brakes were shot & I needed new rotors on the back. Cory from service saw my concern and SOMEHOW made it happen! He hooked me up with a loaner car for the day. A mechanic named Noy who was actually on his day off and in the garage working on his wife's vehicle, dropped what he was doing and fixed my car. By 3pm I was in my own vehicle, new break pads, new rotors and THEY WASHED THE EXTERIOR! Cory also knew about a discount that was available and applied it to my bill- taking $70 off. This group of gentlemen went above and beyond to help me out. This was a potentially dangerous and extremely stressful situation and within 20 minutes of pulling into Lexus of Omaha a plan and a solution were in place. I am grateful. read more

Yet another customer who gives a low rating for Lexus of Omaha service. This issue was initially brought to Lexus of Omaha's attention in August 2023. My vehicle is a 2021 IS350 F Type. The windshield had to be replaced not long after purchase in July 2021, due to a crack. Fair enough, it was cracked by a flying rock on the interstate and I was fine with that. The replacement windshield, Lexus OEM installed at Lexus of Omaha, has been awful. There are multiple tiny chips or pitting that are quite visible when driving in sunlight. Please see the attached photos. After physically reviewing the windshield twice and viewing photto's of the windshield, Lexus of Omaha declined to do anything to help me. Following the first visit to service, they told me I could contact corporate about the issue. In other words, Lexus of Omaha would not lift a finger in support of a customer. Following the second visit and again telling me there was nothing they could do about the windshield, the service manager said that he would contact corporate. I didn't hear anything from Lexus of Omaha for about a month, so I wrote an email to them. It was apparently a coincidence that later that day, they said they were in contact with corporate, who apparently declined to help me. Personally, I don't think this was a coincidence. I think Lexus of Omaha did absolutely nothing about it, hoping the issue would just die on the vine. I believe that, at best, Lexus of Omaha contacted corporate the day of the email. At worst, they didn't contact corporate at all. I did request a copy of any correspondence with corporate, but never received anything. I have been told by the service department that this windshield chipping is normal and that these chips are the result of the angle of the windshield or driving conditions. I told Lexus of Omaha that my driving conditions have not changed in the past 50 years and that this car has only been driven in Omaha and to Lincoln a few times, all on paved surfaces. I have owned a couple of Fords, a couple of Nissans, a Jeep, a BMW, about 10 Acuras, and one other Lexus. I have never had a windshield with issues like this. So judge for yourself after viewing the photos. Does the windshield look normal? If it does and you believe that the description above is emblematic of good service, by all means, give Lexus of Omaha your business. I will never buy another Lexus, at least from Lexus of Omaha. read more

Take a half-day off work to take it in ... and pull up and am told the service is $248. Wow! Was then told the on-line sign-up was wrong. So took a half day off work for nothing. No apology or anything. Just "Do you want the service or not?" Needless to say - we went elsewhere. Had the worst experience I've had with service in a very long time. Had an alternator installed by Lexus of Omaha in May of 2022 that went bad after 12 months and 2 weeks. (Just over their warranty period.) I was told they installed a remanufactured one last year so there was nothing they could do. However they charged me in 2022 as if it was new OE equipment. Guess their recommendation to only install genuine Lexus parts isn't exactly true. I suggest they actually install what you think you're getting. 2/28/2022 The worst car buying experience of my life! Trying to purchase a vehicle from Lexus of Omaha was a 9 day horror! The car advertised was not ready to be sold, it had not been detailed or had any service work done to it, but we wanted to see it anyway. The current car market being the way it is, you must act early if you find a car you like, so we were aware of the situation before seeing the car. We decided to purchase the car with 2 repairs to the paint that needed to be made and we paid them to tint the windows. We financed the repairs in with our loan and paid cash for the tinting. I wrote them a check for $5,299! 7 days after our purchase, we received a call from Scott, the manager. He said "the two areas have been repaired". He told me the "rust was gone" (we paid them to remove two small rust spots and finish with paint). Our salesperson, Lyn, sent me photos so I would know what the areas looked like. I HIT the roof when I saw the same spot on the rear quarter panel that was there 7 days ago. The spot on the trunk was repaired though. SO...I told them I wanted it fixed right! TWO MORE DAYS GO BY and we were told the car was finished and we could come and pick it up. Lyn sent me more pictures and even did a facetime so I could see that they were repaired. We arrived at the dealership, finally made our way to the car, get in it to start it and IT WOULD NOT START! I COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS WAS ALL HAPPENING WHEN I HAD BEEN INFORMED ( the day before)THAT BEFORE WE GOT THERE, AS PART OF THE SERVICE ON THE VEHICLE, THEY HAD PUT A "NEW BATTERY IN THE CAR" (it is not the battery!). I looked at the window tinting job and there are bubbles in three different windows. We were given a myriad of excuses, but I had already had my gut full! They took the car back to the service area where I was informed by my partner that the car failed to start again when they shut it of and tried to restart it! I informed them at that time I did not want their car! This all happened on a Saturday. The following Monday, I went to LEXUS OF LINCOLN and purchased a wonderful car! ZERO PROBLEMS WITH LEXUS OF LINCOLN! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, a completely different experience! READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE! REVIEWS DON'T LIE! Lexus of Omaha has several bad reviews I did not heed!!!!! Buying a new car can be fabulous and so rewarding. But a ton of work! Lexus of Omaha is pretty amazing and worth a look. We were shopping for a new car for my wife and not sure on which one she wanted. We went to many of dealerships. and spent days and days on this process. We went through the entire line of Lexus vehicles. Starting thinking that a crossover Suv/Sedan was what we wanted but ended up driving I think like 6 vehicles from lexus by the time it was done. Compared to others, Lexus is advanced more forward thinking and has way more features and extras than other luxury lines Meaning (porsche, audi, cadillac, range rover) Lexus is nice that during your entire car process you only have to deal with 1 person. They have the no haggle pricing, (not a positive from me but wife loved it though). from the price that was quoted for the vehicle/ I felt from research and info we OVERPAID. But with the up front pricing there is no room to negotiate. We did look at traveling to Kansas City to purchase. We could have saved $$ but in the aspect of time and travel was not feasible for us. Luke went above and beyond during and after sale, was great and also has been prompt on responding. During and even after the sale. There was a problem with the title with the DMV and Lexus was responsive and available within 10 minutes to help with. (of course it was the DMV'S Error but Lexus was there if we needed) The service so far has been good. They broke a personal item of my wifes during 1st trip. not sure how they will handle have not heard back from on that read more

Salesperson kept on flip flopping his words during the interaction and claimed that he was not able to locate the vehicle that I wanted until the day after the sale event expired. At one point during the interaction, he even mentioned that there were "plenty of vehicles" available and not to worry. I called in the night before to see if they would have time to fit us in the morning, they told us to just come on by. I showed up at 8 am and they were waiting for me. They took the car and escorted me to there above par waiting area. It took them about an hour to get the job done but it was no problem waiting with the company of Bob. If you do not know who Bob is you need to invest in a Lexus. they always say " oh we will price match anything" so I went to go check out a Audi and they wrote me a quote on my 2019 ram 1500. so I took it to Lexus and they said that that my brand new truck with 5,000 miles on it is not worth 35,000 well Lexus I'm looking at a top of the line 2018 certified A4 with s line. but I was looking at a 2014 Lexus F sport that had 28,000 miles on it and asking 30,000$ for it. so I went on KBB and the car actually prices out at 28,000$. so not only are they trying to screw me over on only giving me 33,500 for my truck but also 2,000$ high on there car. they always say its about the experience and the care there. seems to me like that all they wanna do is make you think you are getting the best deal on and not show you any other prices. sales guy was very good the managers are all very stuck up and think they run it all. they never even checked what my truck was worth. KBB SHOW 36,342 ( fair price). always check other dealers even if its not the car you want. I literally gave them a layup to "close the deal". you maybe will let them screw you over but they aren't getting anything from me until they come to what KBB say because thats what they run there cars off of so they need ti run my car off that as well read more

BUYERS BEWARE - Here I am, 6 months in trying to get a "three for one" protection claim resolved. Larry Vondra called me late at night back in March and I emailed him the documents he requested on March 8th. Sent a follow up email on March 19th. Left a voicemail on April 7th, April 25th, May 9th, May 25th, June 27th, and I haven't heard back from him at all. I even reached out to corporate and had a case manager involve, but nothing is being resolved. As Murphy's law would state, "all warranties expire until payment of invoice," and yet I still have a valid warranty until 2018. Don't allow the conniving Larry Vondra to throw you the pitch of warranties and all if he's simple going to ignore you if you try to file a claim. read more

I came down to the dealership at 6:30p to look at it, test drove it, got the sales pitch, and waited for another 30 minutes for the salesman to come and tell me that the previous "shoppers" for the car were contacted by their salesperson and told her they would take the car. This apparently transpired the minute I walked into the dealership, not after I test drove the car, or after I got the sales pitch. So basically, they let me twist in the wind for an hour, then wanted to show me other cars! Lame! Not recommended! read more

What a disappointment this dealership turned out to be! BE AWARE! Deliberately unhelpful after their mistake. They didn't put oil in the car at oil change is the best guess, but they wont admit it or help out or reimburse or anything. Very next day after change, engine seized up and died. Car HAD less than 100k miles. No smoke or blackness coming from engine while driving, no cracks in engine, just bone dry where oil should be. Had to have it towed and got it examined by two other places -another Lexus dealership even! Lexus of Omaha refused to take calls at first, people were "out of the country" or "unavailable", then they just straight out refused to help, refused to admit any issues from their end. Wouldn't even reimburse the oil change service. Refused to cover any costs for tow or anything, and refuses to accept any responsibility. Shameful. This dealership does not deal in good faith and is not a good member of Omaha community. I will never buy another Lexus. If you have one --don't take it here for service! read more

Stunningly incompetent. This used to be a GREAT place to go. Now they cannot even find your car or figure out you've been going there for 15 years. The girl who attempted to schedule my service (I have the name but will be kind enough not to put it here) should really find a new job. I've had the same phone number for over 15 years, can't find me by that. I've been going to them for about 15 years and my name has been the same longer than that...can't find me by my name or my spouses. Wants to know if I've ever been there before as we might need to start new.... Every time, every time we go through this. The last time I went to get service there they took twice as long as they said, while I waited in the lobby, and did not do the service properly telling me I really should come back because they didn't do everything blaming me that I didn't schedule it properly. I told them that I had told the scheduler my mileage and I wanted all service near that mileage covered so I wouldn't have to make two trips but she didn't do that...she only scheduled an oil change that took 2 hours and $100 so that was really not worth my time. The shocking part is this is owned by the same folks who own Lexus of Lincoln and Lexus of Lincoln is great. Always goes well there. Skip Omaha though.... soon I might move on altogether..... Buick?
