Zero clue how a dealership can have such poor service like this one. Their used car lot as well as their main dealership are beyond poor. We walked into the main dealership to look at a particular model. Not one person greeted us. It was a ghost town. The girl at the desk was looking down, ignored us- didn't greet us upon entering and didn't pay attention to us leaving. 2 other service people sat in chairs and just watched us walk by. Our worst experience was buying a used car from their lot down the road- and got completely scammed. Guy claimed it was a great car in perfect condition. Less than 2 months later, started having issues- turned out transmission was shot and the car would only go in reverse when it was in the mood. Lexus did nothing to address this. We traded this car in 6 months from purchase and took a $10,500 hit. Absolutely awful. Would not recommend this dealer to anyone. read more

The staff is very buttoned up and pushy. They sit you down like you're buying a car every time you need a service appointment. There is an arrogance and prejudice at this location. As someone who has been treated differently for years for being a level 1 autistic and adopted from a tropical country I do not appreciate the run around or power games. They sit you down in the most horrible buttoned up looking desks and make it very uncomfortable and uptight. They never seem to have a rental available, also the man in charge of this location is hand in hand with some very dark secret society stuff, bad energy and control optics. He will not even say hi to you as he stares at the floor from behind a two way mirror. I was dismissed and laughed at recently by two young white men in buttoned up shirts as I had to come in without getting ready because they had lost my car and my keys in a matter of hours. I will never buy an extended warranty under Lexus again. I honestly don't trust the whole operation. Time to get some equality and soft vibes in there without all the stuff for the buttoned up older folks who are all switching to teslas or not driving at all anymore. Think twice about this location. I love my car, I love the guy I bought it from at a different location. He was sweet warm soft and nice, I felt bad that the guys at the top had him change his name for the sake of conformity for uneducated arrogance that unfortunately is associated with luxury items. I've been a customer of this Lexus dealership since purchase a new RC350 in 2017. I'm a bit surprised to see the 1-star reviews as that has not been my experience, but it also appears that those reviews are almost all related to used car purchases. My sense was that during the pandemic they were forced to change up some of their service procedures to either minimize contact or address staff shortages, but if anything their service is better today than it was pre-COVID. I have had two issues over the years. The first centered around a loaner car, where I re-filled the tank but the gas tank needle didn't move. I was charged for 5 gallons of gas at the exorbitant $5+/gal rate even though I drove less than 40 miles in a car rated for 28 mpg. After a few calls the manager contacted me to understand the issue and eventually offered to reimburse me, but I declined as I just wanted them to change their loaner policy, which they have. The second issue was poor work by an independent contractor to repair the red leather on the corner of my drivers seat. It only looked a bit better after the $200 repair, and a year later it doesn't look any different. Live and learn. I do want to give a shout out to my service rep who gave me a solid heads-up as to the anticipated cost of my 60K mile service where I also needed new brake rotors. Nice not to be surprised, especially given that my prior 5 years of maintenance was entirely pre-purchased. I got quotes from three independent mechanics and their quotes were not much less than the Lexus dealership estimate, which was surprising. All in all, I've been very satisfied with service, responsiveness, facilities and timeliness. Oh, and I still really like my car six years later! read more

WOW, unbelievable experience. Greeted upon arrival, loaner car ready and clean and Service (Software Update and Tire Rotation) performed as schedule with continuous communication throughout. BUT HERE'STHE BIGGEST THING; my wife and I went out after the Service and had dinner, when we went to the car to head home it did not start. We phoned Lexus and after talking us through a few things that sadly didn't work, Doug from Lexus jumped in his car and drove 20 minutes to us to get the car started and assure all was now correct. Lexus Roadside service was two hours out but Doug saved the day in a fraction of that time by driving out to us. I was here to buy one of their vehicles. I walked inside and the receptionist pages the person, he was there within 10 mins and got a test drive vehicle out. He was very pleasant to talk to. I drove the car liked it and gave him the key to test drive my trade. 15 mins later he came with trade value. We reviewed it and told him what amount I want to write on my check that should cover price+tax+title (everything). He made it work. And all these time, I never had to get up from lobby couch. I had to sign the paper on a desk though, later that day. He had time to compliment my watch too. This has been by far the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Ponzi scheme! They listed a car on the internet and over a week now after I made a deal with Matt Saunders still no paperwork, and no car. After I agreed to purchase, low and behold Bill the other sales manager slipped in another $599.00 for window tint after the agreed on the purchase price. I have filled out the paperwork, credit applications, sent trust documents to Matthew Meyer and he was having trouble titling the car in my name TOD to my trust. Such a simple task! Christian Nicklow the salesman was a joke, very little help with not staying on top of this purchase, my last text from him was to "stop texting". Matt Saunders started this deal and left on vacation, since doing so it's a 3 ring circus. With no ringleader. I have set up transport with Rachel and can't move forward because the dealership can't do their jobs. This place isnt what it used to be, In the past, I got a new Lexus every 12-18 months. Their sales and service and attention to clients was beyond reproach. Sorry to say that is no longer the case. They have switched to a phone bank for service. Those people are clueless. To get decent service and answers to your questions, you have to go around the process, make sure you get the front desk in Wayzata and then ask for a service rep there. At least they are still top of the line. Sales Reps have really gone downhill. I recently got a runaround that the job I wanted to get done was impossible. Untrue. To make matters worse, promised returned call after looking into my thoughts was not returned. I am now driving a great Hyundai with the exact deal I knew was possible. Buyer beware. read more

Untrustworthy service department. I purchased a Lexus Certified RX350 and was told my first 3 service appointments would be free. This was repeated by 3 service reps over the ensuing months including recommendations to wait for a next scheduled service before I used up my last one as the next service would be more expensive. When I called in for my 3rd service appointment I'm told my free service credits have expired and they are "sorry" I was told the wrong information. Do not trust this dealership. Without an appointment, we show up at service bay and within 30 minutes Mike knew our situation, had us in a loaner, and the car being evaluated. I had to wait on the line two different times spanning over a half hour and talked to someone who acted like they didn't know what they were even doing at the service dept....so I then requested to talk to a manager which I then was told that they would have to call me back later.. couple hours later I was confirming an oil change and maintenance apt with a loaner car to use for work and the manager was a big help and even laughed that my time and car wasn't confirmed with the first call. I get here for my apt and they forgot the loaner car!!!! So I am to stay here while I am supposed to be working... I have had one star service for a while... last car I buy from here!! read more

I placed an order for a new vehicle and didn't ultimately purchase. So why am I doing a five star review? Integrity. I called to validate my vehicle left the factory in time. It had not. The sales manager, Rich, apologized that someone had not called to alert me of the delay. This was a great response but what turned out to be a canceled sale was a great experience. As I talked with Rich, it turned out the vehicle I ordered would not meet the needs of my lifestyle. He directed me to another vehicle and was up front about my expectations for experience. He was SPOT ON. I ended up canceling the order for my gorgeous, new, "Lexie" and will wait until 2023 when the GX model has what I'm looking for. And, when that happens, I will pre-order from Rich. I am completely blown away that a dealership would rather lose a sale for honesty and integrity than to have a dissatisfied customer in a year or two. Nice work guys! Bravo. read more

Bought a used Car from these folks in 2021. When the Sales Manager first showed it to me, he opened the lift gate and the button broke off and pushed in. He said they'd "fix" it. I bought the car. Brought it back to them to fix. They seemingly did but you could feel it was not very permanent. Like they Super Glued it in place. 3 mos later it has broken again. They are not willing to do anything for me now. I have to fish around and find a surface to steel it against to get the button to work. Extremely unprofessional! They do not care about you as a customer, only care about $. Came in to buy a used ES, did the test drive and everything, and was told to come back next day with my trade and they'd "work with me" to make a deal. Instead, I came back next day and while I was on my way they told me someone else is test driving the ES. A bit frustrating for sure. But then they did whatever they could to belittle my trade in and give me a lowball offer on it, stating "comps" are selling for low. But when I brought them comps for their vehicle with the same accessories they said they can't take those into consideration. Absolute joke and the used car manager is unprofessional. My offer was leaving them more than enough room to make $ on both ends but they'd rather go for extreme greed. I have lots of contacts and was going to send business their way but now I'd tell them to avoid them as they are only going to waste your time. If you want improvement it'll start by finding a new used car manager. Matt Meyer had the audacity to call me and criticize me for my review instead of listening and trying to understand. This dealership and the one in Maplewood changed hands. They no longer honor the 100,000 mile club card. I only took my car to the dealership for serivce because of that discount. Last time I took my car in I discussed the work needed and said don't forget my 100,000 mile discount. The service person did not tell me until I got the invoice that they no longer honored the card! He claimed he didn't hear me when I checked in. Duh I was sitting directly across from him and he didn't have any trouble hearing everything else. I would not have had the work done there if I had known as my local serivce station is much less expensive. They damaged my car by backing it in to something. It broke a clip holding the bumper on. I had just had the clips replaced. The service tech looked at it and said they didn't do it. He said they have cameras every where and he would look and get back to me. That was more than a month ago and never heard a word. Needless to say I won't be back. read more
