Their foods great, the prices are consistent with what you'd expect but shaving a dollar or two off everything would make this place a bit more realistic. That being said l, the lahmacun is the best I've had in a while, I order them in bulk and air fry em up. They always gip me on the yoghurt sauce and somethings there isn't enough veg for the amount I'm ordering, the service isn't outwardly friendly or fantastic, but it's okay. Showed up to a completely empty restaurant last night just before 6pm. The menu looked massive so we decided to grab a table. We were sat right away and some warm bread delivered super quick. It was not the normal Naan I was expecting but so good. I ordered up the sampler platter (5 items $24) and was shocked to see they had no Domas (stuffed grape leaves) available despite one of the options from the menu. That is a staple for me. My buddy also tried to order two different chicken dishes and the waiter had to ask if they can prepare and they said no so the waiter made a suggestion and that is what he ordered. Pretty simple chicken dish with rice, onions and shredded picked beets. The pieces of chicken were massive and super flavorful ($21). I also ordered the falafel (4pcs on hummus $9). So much food so we both had leftovers to box up. Our server was nice to drop off tea and finally a small piece of baklava to share. It was incredible. So, all in all an odd start in a quiet restaurant but the food was delicious and our service was top notch. read more

Friendly service, fast service, big portions, and great taste. Lezzet was such a nice experience. I knew I was in the right place because everyone else seemed to be Turkish lol. They had a nice selection of Turkish sodas and drinks, the meats were tender (the most tender lamb chop I have ever had) and had a nice char. All of their sauces tasted fresh and house made. Eh. Went here with the family. Ordered the yogurt lamb, the pide and the shrimp along with a couple appetizers and a couple desserts. On the plus side, the portions were significant. No issue there. The food was pretty good. I guess my issues were around the service, or service adjacent. I didn't like that they gave us bottles of water since they apparently didn't have tap, and then charged us. They also charged us twice for a couple items but that was likely a mistake. Service was fairly slow. Bread was room temperature. I just didn't love it. I would go back but I won't be upset if I don't either. Considering Turkish is my favorite cuisines, while we generally enjoyed the food, this was also probably the least enjoyable Turkish meal we've had. read more

Took out from here tonight based on other reviews and it didn't disappoint. Had the chicken doner gyro dinner. Chicken was flavorful, rice was well cooked and seasoned. Had the hummus which was creamy and excellent. And also tried the ezme which I had never had before it was amazing. Definitely must get this. They gave an enormous amount of their bread as well which was soft in the middle and crusty on the outside. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend . Will definitely be back. read more

Been here so many times. I love the food but service is horrible. The server is good but the people in the kitchen do not care of how this affects the server and its establishment. The kitchen guys are always arguing with each other and it can be clearly heard to where you sit. Even when I have ordered take out the orders are constantly wrong or even orders missing. My family and I always say we wont come back but this is pretty good authentic for Long Island Turkish food. read more

Shortly after moving to Smithtown from Los Angeles, we discovered our go-to Mediterranean restaurant on Terry Road. EVERYTHING is delicious. From the hummus and Pita to the Filo rolls, all the Pides, Kebabs, Kofta, Shish - we have never tried something that wasn't amazing. We recently took advantage of the catering menu for a dinner party at our house with guests from around the world who raved about the food. OH - don't skip the cold Baklava - so good! And we are always happy to have Umut serve us - so knowledgeable and attentive and willing to adapt to special requests. Can't wait to go back - I'm going to finish some leftovers right now! While food is delicious, better eat in. I have ordered for pickup 3 times and all 3 times order was screwed up. They either gave away my order to someone else and then had to wait for another hour and even after they tried to fix my large order, I was missing one of main courses with dozen of people waiting to eat at home for over an hour. FABULOUS! I read about it in NEWSDAY'S top 100 new restaurants. I will never eat anywhere else. When you walk in the smell makes you wish it was a buffet so you can try everything. So instead my daughter & I ordered a great mix of food to taste. Let me just start with saying everything is finely chopped. LENTIL SOUP- not all broth, plenty of vegetables HUMMUS- thick and creamy CRISPY FILO ROLLS- not greasy, fried to perfection FALAFEL- light and airy SHEPHERD SALAD- chopped finely, I wish they bottled the dressing GYRO WRAP- the meat was paper thin POTATO PIDE- It's addictive LAHMACUN- had to try, never had it before The portions are large when ordering we have been able to get two meals for three people each. The falafel bread is nothing like you've seen before. So just let me say these are a few of the things we have had in our multiple trips there. The flavors are amazing. Each thing has its own unique flavor and it's not like anything I've ever had before. The customer service is fantastic. After reading so many good reviews, I decided to try it. Went in yesterday for gyro I asked if they had chicken. I was told they did so I ordered it to go. When I got home, I opened it up and the meat was so dark. It was almost black. I took one bite couldn't even determine what type of meat it was figured it was beef. The shape and texture was very unappealing. When I called to tell them, I did not get a chicken Gyro and that the meat was dried up and terrible. They told me I probably took too long to eat it. what a ridiculous response. Needless to say, I will never go there again this was my first and last visit there the gyro was absolutely awful. if you can't make a good Gyro, I can't imagine how the rest of the food would be. read more

Highly recommend this if you are looking for great Mediterranean food. Clean, efficient service. Highly recommend the Lahmacun which is an oven baked flatbread with minced meat, herbs, onions, garlic and tomatoes topped with chili pepper and paprika. I would also recommend the Gyro. read more

I had heard people review the food very very favorably and that's why I went. First walking in there, I had a little trepidation, it's super casual. No tablecloths. But once they started bringing the food, it was wonderful. There were two of us and we shared the cold salad platter. It's mostly different types of eggplant with some hummus andTzatziki. Their mixed grill was sensational, ground meat kebab, lamb burgers, beef and chicken shish kebab, and plentyof Gyro. The waiter was very nice and we shared pictures of our circa World War I Turkish ancestry and he comped us on a wonderful dessert. I'm looking forward to bringing my grown sons there because we'll get more dishes and more to share and taste. read more

Saw this restaurant pop up on DoorDash and was excited to try it as we love Mediterranean food but have struggled to find a place that had great food in the area. We were SO impressed by the food, they truly did not disappoint, and cannot wait to order again and try more off the menu. The shepherds salad was fresh tasting, the veggies weren't soggy and they were super flavorful. The hydari was excellent, tangy and perfectly flavored with dill, mint and garlic. There wasn't too much garlic as to make it overwhelming, it had a great balanced flavor. The pide that accompanied it was also delicious and they provided an abundant serving of it. All the portions were generous and perfect for sharing. We also tried the adana sandwich and it was the star of the meal. It was served in a grilled wrap with marinated onion and tomato and it was so perfectly grilled and flavorful that we didn't even need the yogurt sauce that was provided with it, but the yogurt sauce was well flavored and would make a nice accompaniment if desired. We can't wait to try some of the stuffed pide that are on the menu, and more of their grilled entrees. We are so excited to have finally found a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant so close to home. read more

I ordered the Adana Kebab, described as grilled chopped lamb, red bell peppers, grilled tomatoes, etc. The two skewers of meat were very tasty but there was only one very small piece of pepper and a tiny piece of tomato with some white rice and spices. Essentially no vegetables. Way overpriced for what I got and deceptive menu description. They were even cheap with the yogurt sauce (small cup 1/2 full). Staff not very friendly and the dining room was very plain, no ambiance. I frequently dine at a Persian restaurant in Huntington and order the same entree. The price is about the same but they provide a large portion of vegetables, the servers are very pleasant, and the atmosphere is much nicer. May try Lezzet one more time, but if nothing changes, I will make the trip to Huntington when I want good Mediterranean food. read more
