I'm not a natural model so I didn't know how to pose. I was new and my body was not used to being in front of the camera naturally. But every step of the way, Josh was there being patient and guiding me. For the engagement pictures, due to Josh's expertise and experience, he knew where to go for the best pictures. But if you already have a list of places you want to go, he is open and willing to go to them. To give you an idea of the places he has in his pocket, he took me to Santa Monica Beach and the Venice Beach Canals (who doesn't get their pictures here, right?). But the kicker was this beautiful nature park that literally looked like a rain forest! As for the big wedding day, Josh was the first person there capturing moments from beginning to end. He also had a partner with him to ensure everything was caught. He knew what to do and what type of pictures to take. There were several moments when he told me to do something and thought to myself, "Oh yeah! That's right. I see those wedding pictures all the time!" I just felt bad for him and his partner because they couldn't sit down and eat. They must have been hungry from running around all day! Now as I reflect back and write this, it's been an unforgettable year full of joy and blessings. I appreciate the big moments in my life, but I realize the little moments are just as valuable, something we neglect when we are younger. I have already begun a new chapter in my life, and I can't find a better way to end my last review of 2013, but to write this for him.

The venue we did go with didn't have any recommendations for photographers so the search began. After looking around we thought we weren't even going to have a photographer, much less a videography due to the prices being out of this world! Enter, Affordable Photo Guys. We remembered their name off the list from the prior venue and looked at their work. To be perfectly honest, I was skeptical, but my fiancé, now husband, liked what he saw so we reached out to see if they were available for our wedding date. Not only were they available for our wedding date, but they also asked questions I hadn't considered to get the most out of their service. First and foremost, I'm not sure what their policy was before 2020, but they are considerate and only took a small deposit. They rather us keep most of our money in case oh idk, another PANDEMIC hits again. Anyway, fast forward a year (2023) and our wedding is one month away. We provide our final payment (what was left over after the deposit) and get to talking details. This being my first, and hopefully only, wedding I didn't realize photographers need a schedule, duh. Unfortunately, our venue was poor on communication, but not these guys! They worked with me and provided a makeshift schedule until the venue finally forked over the day of schedule. Alex and Jose arrived and let me tell you, they made the day a BREEZE. I was stressed out of my mind because again, the venue lacked communication, but Alex and Jose were truly a joy to work with. We all felt comfortable and not as awkward as I imagined. They provided a preview of photos within days of the wedding and we were STUNNED. It did take time to get the full work because they're booked and blessed, of course, and this is the wedding industry. A photographer friend of mine said her work also takes 10-12 weeks, so it's normal y'all. Lastly, they provided more pictures, what seemed like the full file, than what they said so that was a bonus to how wonderful they are! TL;DR Alex and Jose are fantastic at what they do.
