When I raised the issue with Gerson, he agreed to completely remake the handrail to my specifications for a small surcharge. I will not trust his business!! He was paid to do a fence around my property. When he was supposed to show up, he kept postponing. Resulting in frustrations to just get our money back. After multiple months of trying to receive our money back. He would insult us and not show up. We had to go to the city to file a complaint. Still to this date, he hasn't returned the money that was paid to him. I would not trust his business when money is in hand. Called on Gerson to quote me on cable railings I needed for my deck and a couple of areas of the yard. Told him my time restraint on this project and that I was considering a couple of other bids. He understood and came by. His estimate was not the cheapest, nor was it the most expensive but I appreciated his transparency and honesty in his answers to my questions and the openness to how he offered information and options. He updated me on the status and answered his txt msgs in a timely manner as the project went along. Quality of his work and the materials used were solid, I guess time will only tell but I don't foresee any problems. On a side note, we had issues with one of the cables shortly after the completion and he showed up the next day to take care of it. I have never needed metal fabrication services until my latest project required it. I'm having an outside walkway tiled and realized that the metal gate would not clear the new higher floor height once tile installed. Gerson (pronounced "Hairson") was responsive and understood that the metal gate needed to be raised by moving the hinges up about one inch. He arrived the following day and did a great job. The only reason I chose this business was because of the reviews. I do not feel the reviews are honest here or accurate as my experience was completely different than what was posted here.
