I stopped by Lhasa Snack Cafe after noticing they had momos on the menu. As a tough critic of momos, especially since I have a go to spot in the city--I was excited to try them right here in Queens. The ambiance of the restaurant is tranquil and relaxing, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, though I will note that the wait for food was longer than expected. We ended up getting everything to go, and while the momos were decent, I think I need to give them another try to offer a fair review. The reheating process may have affected the flavor and texture, so I'm definitely interested in trying them fresh next time for a more accurate judgment. Overall, a nice spot with potential, and I'm looking forward to giving the momos another shot!

This is a restaurant with same owner as Lhasa Liang fen, Jackson height. Food is little different, they must be focusing on snack foods only. Very new, nice and clean restaurant with only two people working, I think it's the owner itself. There is prices are reasonable. I have tried their, shyabhaley, momo with chilly sauce at the bottom, Dan dan noodles, Wai wai lhaping, potato momo and dorpa khatsa. Everything was great and freshly made. It was first time triying potato momo and dorpa khatsa which is a stomach lining i guess. Potato momo was cripsy with beef in the middle . Can't wait to go back.

One of a million momo places in little Tibet. It's a bit sparse, but they do have ethnic programs on the TV. They also have chive Momos which is major key. Loads of other Tibetan food as well. A bit cheaper than Momo Crave which is around the corner

I originally wanted to try their persimmon matcha, but sadly it wasn't available when I went since it's a seasonal drink. Ended up trying the strawberry matcha instead and wow... it was so good. The in-house strawberry syrup was fantastic and tasted fresh without being overly sweet or artificial. You can also tell they use quality matcha because the flavor really comes through. It had a strong matcha taste without crossing into bitterness, and the balance between the earthy matcha and sweet strawberry was super well done. Not too sweet, not too bitter! Just really smooth and balanced overall. Definitely understand why this place gets so much love on social media. Excited to come back and hopefully try the persimmon matcha next season.

I've noticed that this cafe has a good stream of people always coming in. You do have to wait a bit for your order because they bulk prepare their orders. But, it's definitely worth a try. I personally got to try the strawberry matcha. The matcha flavor was good. As for the strawberry bottom, it was more jam-y than I expected. It was the exact taste of strawberry jam that you would put on a toast than pure crushed strawberries. Although this particular one isn't my preferred strawberry matcha, I think some people would enjoy it. I did like the sweetness that came from it.

It's super Instagrammable, I love the seats situated within the heart and all of the flowers and greenery in this place. There are a few limited food options, but overall this is a cafe that also serves beer and wine (and the occasional frose, yay). Almost all of the times I've been in here (save for this last time) service is fast and friendly - but on my last visit the guy seemed like he was struggling to get orders out and keep the line moving. There were two folks ahead of me and the first one had multiple orders, so I figured there'd be a bit of a wait. Around 15 minutes later or so it was my turn to order, and I asked about the teas. The iced options were either sweetened with caffeine, or unsweetened without caffeine - I'd been hoping for something iced and unsweetened. When I asked about green tea he said he had none made, but didn't offer making it for me as an option. We awkwardly stood there for a few moments more as I waited to see if he might say this was something he could do. Eventually I cut my losses and said thanks anyway.
