An electrical contractor who cares. Tenants in my rental property in Fremont had complained that there were electrical problems in the house. Contacted LHP and explained the situation to Yong who answered the phone. Difficulty was that Tenants for whom English is a second language, almost never answer the phone. This required several calls and texts over several days before LHP was finally able to gain access and trouble shoot and fix the problem, which meant replacing several electrical outlets. Yong always answered the phone promptly and went to a great deal of trouble dealing with unresponsive Tenants. Repair charges were also very reasonable. I got recessed lights installed as well as a few small things around outlet placement done. John's crew cut walls open, patched, and installed 16 lights in a day! John was definitely detailed oriented and very helpful when I have questions or requests. They also helped me clean up afterwards. Inadvertently, we had multiple space heaters on - across two rooms and that caused a power outage in one room. It was very intriguing as the rest of the house had power. I'd initially thought it to be a blown circuit breaker in the electrical panel. Mr. Zhang checked and found the circuit breaker to be good. I called on Sunday, 5/16/21, and was thankful to get an answer. I was pleased he was able to schedule an appointment for the next morning at 10am. Our lights were out on one wall of the kitchen, the den and one bedroom. He replaced a poorly connected circuit breaker and the power was quickly restored. In under an hour he had also replaced two previously damaged sockets, one inside, one outside. We contacted Yong because our kitchen circuit breaker was getting tripped. We told him the details and sent pictures via Yelp. He saw that the circuit breaking was expected because we were just drawing too much power with our appliances. We had a small emergency as a small section of our home suddenly blacked out, and we needed a quick repair. We called a few different electricians, who were booked for the day, but LHP was willing to come late in the evening. Part of my kitchen has no electricity. When I called Yong about the problem, he seemed to already know the solution and gave a reasonable quote.
