I have been going to LiEn Nail Salon for years and just love them. They say my name when I come in. I receive mani pedi very quick aftr I arrive. They do offer drinks as some reviews said they dont. They are great. If they et my request d/t the language barrier I ask them to fix it and they always do. They dont charge me if I come back with a broken nail. I love them.....forever. This place is not bougie, they do not tout Pomo and circumstance, and that is completely fine because they do an amazing job. This is my favorite nail salon. I've lived here since '07 and have been around the block trying to find the perfect spot. I always ask for Michael - I sit there for a good long while, but my pedi is ALWAYS perfect. I have an ingrown and he never hurts me, I'm always treated like I'm valued regardless of the shop being packed every time I go and I've recommended them to many friends who have become return customers. They're really great people who are doing their best to make their clients happy! You should try it! And ask for Michael! read more

Normally i like going here. They are great at pedicures, but i had an appointment for acrylics today with Michael at 11 he informed me they were a low staffed and that i would have to wait a bit. I finally sat down with a tech that wasn't Michael an hour later, and she told me that the colors i wanted to do were tacky and she wouldn't do it. Then she proceeded to tell me she was going to do the gel x thing, which wasn't what i had asked for. After putting the fake nails on and cutting my nails, the tech then said she would "be right back." Then she went and sat with another customer and started to do her nails, which were acrylics. This whole experience was so unprofessional, and whenni complained, they acted like i was in the wrong and rushed through the rest of my service, leaving the paint lumpy and the edges of my nails jagged. I literally cried when i got home. This is something i do to relax, and it was just a really bad experience. read more

I went in for a full set and pedicure. They had me sit in chair 2 and a woman named Nikki came and turned on the water. She asked me to put my feet in and when I did, the water was so hot I immediately removed my foot. She put more cold water and after the third time it was ok. Then Nikki attempted a pedicure. I indicated that I have an in grown toe nail and she began to cut it. Right then, she tried to pull and yank it out and in pain I said ouch. She continued and I told her to please be gentle as it is painful. She responded with "I've been doing this for 10 years" and I told her "that's great, can you be a little more gentle. She turned to her coworker and began to talk in her language about me of course and My toenail began to bleed and I told her please be gentle and not pull it so hard! it shouldn't be bleeding! She said " they all bleed." NO, they don't, if it's done right! She was very defensive and at that point I just wanted to finish and get outta there. My nail was half cut and it hurt. She proceeded to polish and she didn't even cover the nail bed. Honestly, this was the worse pedicure I've ever had. The nail shop was ok, however stay away from Nikki. Just because someone's been doing something for ten years, doesn't mean your good at it! read more

I won't be back here for a WHILE. I have never seen such a group of people are so okay with the awfully sloppy work that they do here. They act like applying an even coat of polish is rocket science!! I pay entirely too much money to get my nails done to have them look like a 5th grader did them & I don't have the time to be wasting to get my nails corrected when it could've been done right the first time. Now, I do understand that they may be trying to work quickly to get everyone taken care of, but NOT at the expense of the quality of my nails. If you can't work fast and still do a good job, then I'd cut my losses and just do a good damn job. On the contrary, The prices are decently reasonable. I just paid $35 for a cut down & a fill in with a gel polish, so not too terrible. Probably because they know their work is sloppy? Who knows. You get what you pay for. read more

I got a cuticle trim here 2 weeks ago for $7 and this week they charged me $12.... They wouldn't do it for $7 today. They also pulled instruments out of a "sterile" bag, but the tape wasn't sealed. I work in the dental field and I know what the package is supposed to look like coming out of the sterilizer and they are faking it. The cuticle trimmer had someone else's cuticles all over it and I couldn't help but say something. I really should have just walked out then. I think the only way to be safe in these places is to bring your own instruments... I went to this place from a review saying it was clean! Ugh. read more

Such nice people! I had my gel manicure done last week in a different part of town. My pointer finger polish peeled off, so I needed it replaced. This salon was super friendly and found the match color. He even went back and filed a few places that he said are prone to chipping from the person that did it last week. read more

NAIL INFECTION! I now have to have both my toenails removed by a podiatrist within 6 days of having a pedicure there. I had a pedicure on Sunday, September 24th 2016 around 1:30pm. Six days later, I'm on vacation and had to find a podiatrist and make an emergency appointment because the skin around both my big toes (outside cuticle area) has become completely red, very painful and is so swollen the skin is about to bust. The doctor said with 100% certainty it is from the pedicure. Either lack of cleanliness or the tools they used weren't sterilized properly. The doctor put me on antibiotics, but when I return to Nashville I will need to see a podiatrist there to remove both my toenails. I cannot believe this. Never have I ever heard of such a horrible thing. I'm incredibly healthy young individual with no prior health issues. I can't tell you the last time I had anything as much as a sniffle, it's been years! This is absolutely unacceptable. STAY AWAY! read more

Their quality is the best I have received - and I get manicures and pedicures all over the country as I travel for work. i will NEVER be back to this establishment. i gave them two try's and both times were an awful experience. the First time I went there me and my boyfriend wanted to get pedicures together and drink wine while doing so. so I called them and asked if they serve wine and they told me on the phone that they did so when we came in we asked for a glass and they said that they do not do that after I have genuinely just talk to them five minutes prior. so we accepted that they said no and sat there for 30 minutes during our pedicure and someone else asked for wine and then gave it to them and I asked them about it and they said oh I'm sorry what kind do you want as if they didn't know that we literally just asked for it and they lied straight to our face because they didn't want to give it to us. The second try I came back and they told me that there would be a 10 minute wait so I waited and it ended up being more like 35 minutes before I was being taken care of they put me in the chair for my pedicure and filled up the water and the water was barely even lukewarm I told the lady that I liked my water hot and that it wasn't even hardly warm and asked her to please warm it up and she said she would get to it in a minute she never came back to warm it up and she had some other lady come and that lady put in a little bit of warm water to make it a little bit more warm but it only lasted for about a minute because the tank was already so full I told her that it still wasn't hot and that it was still barely even warm and she said that it was OK and I said no it's not OK it's cold I don't wanna sit here and pay $100 for my feet is it in cold water can you please just drain it out and redo it with hot water and she absolutely refused to do it she kept trying to get me to put my feet up and I told her that I do not Want to sit here and cold water she further refuse and I was talking loud enough to where the other employees could hear near me and they did nothing to help after an Hour and countless times asking for their help and receiving none I ended up walking out and told him that I would never come back. Let me preface this by saying the last time I went here was an awful experience. The place was dirty and the people were rude. I decided to try it again as I was in a pinch to get my nails redone and was pleasantly surprised to find the whole place had been remodeled. New equipment, new furniture, and NEW OWNERS! They bent over backwards to make sure I was comfortable, offering me a drink (I chose water, but I've heard they offer wine as well) and asking frequently if I needed anything; if I was doing okay. The owner asked how I liked the new place, how it compared, etc... and was a friendly young man who seemed to genuinely want to know how he could improve. As far as the actual nail service, the woman was fast and gentle and did good work. She also spoke good English, which made the transaction easier. If you have been left with a bad taste in your mouth by this place, please do yourself a favor and try it again. The prices are reasonable and the people can't be friendlier. I went in to Li-en Nail Salon #5 and got a gel manicure (that is supposed to last until it is removed) and a pedicure. Unfortunately, the quality of work was shaky at best. (My gel manicure AND my pedicure were chipping within a week!) Prior to this trip (in which I paid full price), I had purchased a Groupon for a Mani-Pedi and Foot Treatment. The reason I hadn't used this my first time in was that when I printed my Groupon, I realized that I had to call in 24 hours in advance to make an appointment. I knew I had plenty of time to cash in my Groupon, so I dropped in to the salon without an appointment and paid full price. It hit me a few weeks later that my Groupon was about to expire (it was to expire the next day), so even though I had not been entirely impressed with my previous experience, I called in to make an appointment, as outlined on the Groupon. The conversation went as follows: Me: "Hi, I have a Groupon. Do I need to make an appointment? Or can I just stop by?" Li-en Rep: "You have to make an appointment, but we're all booked tomorrow." (Keep in mind that I hadn't mentioned when I wanted to make the appointment, but I suppose they knew that their Groupon was expiring the next day.) Me: "You're all booked up tomorrow? As in, ALL day?" Li-en Rep: "Yes. All booked up." Me: "What about this evening?" Li-en Rep: "All booked up." Me: "You don't have ANYTHING open tonight or tomorrow." Li-en Rep: "No. All booked up." I was astounded, because while I have only been inside this nail salon one time, I pass it quite frequently, and I have never seen it full. After leaving work yesterday, I decided to stop in. Upon walking in the door, I was greeted with a friendly, "Can I help you?" I asked if they had time for a mani-pedi, and immediately the reply was, "Sure! Pick out your colors!" I replied, "I called in just a little while ago, and I was told that you were booked up all night." The woman I was speaking with looked dumbfounded until I added, "I said I had a Groupon, and you told me you were all booked up." She then suddenly replied, "Oh yes, we're very busy. Long, long waits." I then thanked her for her time and left the salon. It would have been different if they actually were booked and I had missed my opportunity by waiting until the last minute. However, that was not the case. They blatantly lied to me to avoid honoring the Groupon, and I am sure I am not the only one. Poor performance and deplorable customer service. read more

At first glance it wasn't my favorite...but I decided to give it a try as I'm still in search of the perfect nails spot since moving to the area. I'm so glad I stayed! The guy who did my pedi was great!! His name is Wi and I'd definitely go back to see him. Kathy did my gel mani and she did a great job as well. She asked if I wanted to get my eyebrows done and since I really needed it, I gave it a shot and she did a pretty good job. Clean and friendly but older and the chairs weren't very comfy. I have been to this salon twice now. It is very clean and comfortable. The location is convent with lots of parking. The staff are friendly and very good at what they do. Even the basic pedicure has many added features that I haven't had in other salons. I also had the French gel manicure. It still looked great after three weeks! Have only had a pedicure from a male a couple times. This may have been the best pedicure I've ever had. I got the second level Spa Pedicure for $35 plus tip. One hour total with a really long massage getting knots out of my calves. Son did such a good job, I already told a friend she needs to visit. read more
