This place is gross. No one wears a mask not even the employees. The food made my stomach hurt so bad. And there was this horrible smell. If you want a variety of beer to choose from, including seasonal options, at a great price, then, Liam's Irish Pub is the place to be. I highly recommend the Tuesday night comedy show. The local talent is always funny, and fresh. I have yet to see a "repeat" performance. Rick Rome assembles some great comics that will have you laughing so hard you'll forget you still have work the next day. (Really, set those alarms people) Rick is friends with comics Just Mikey, Bruce Jingles and Jeff Garcia, (to name a few) so you NEVER know who will pop in. Visited Liam's for the first time today, had a wonderful atmosphere about it when first entering. Summer, the bartender, was both personable and professional. We tried a few of the food items including the Leprechaun Nuts(which were delicious). Compliments to Jenn the chef. Since we were there early in the day we didn't get to see any of the live entertainment, however the patrons were very laid back and sociable. We will definitely be stopping by to check out some local bands, local comedy, and even to let my lady sing on one of the various karaoke nights. The atmosphere is awesome the bar tenders are super nice and the guy handling the karaoke is pretty much the life of the place, Wednesday game night is and amazing idea and super fun. one of the only places I can enjoy my pint of Guinness but security needs to keep a closer eye on the weirdos that walk up in there and harass some of the women. read more

This has been my "home" bar for about 5 years now and I stick around mostly for the people. It is true that people make the bar. Don't get me wrong, Liam's is a great place to relax and listen to some uber great live music with a large selection of beers on tap. Although it has seen better days in my opinion, I refuse to lose hope that it won't be even better than before once the kinks get worked out. No more real darts; now it's electronic and plastic. I'm assuming this is for safety reasons or something but it's still a bummer. The bar could use some updating and still maintain its hole-in-the-wall appeal that drew me in in the first place. The owner is also a sweetheart, just wish we saw more of her. Liam's has always been a family atmosphere and there are enough of us regulars left to keep it that way. Prices are reasonable, the Karaoke & Comedy nights are awesome! I recommend the Leprechaun nuts and the french fries are also my favorite around. read more

I've never felt as welcome as i did from the moment i walked into this pub. I brought my girlfriend here after deciding to stay overnight last minute in the area. We were immediately welcomed by Erica, the superstar bartender of the establishment. We were hungry so we asked for suggestions and were not disappointed by the choices. After we got our food, the chef himself came out to make sure everything was okay and even brought out an extra side of condiments to enhance our meal. Friday and Saturday nights are mostly band nights. The food is to die for, especially the bacon taco shells loaded with breakfast. Mmmmmm, I highly suggest you go there. Okay first off let me say that I read most of the reviews on this place before the visit, overall common comments for 2014 were that the food was good and the service was okay. There is a reason that I am giving them five stars and it's not because of the other comments. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a shot as it is near our home and we wanted to catch the packers vs. bears game. First impression of the place. Everyone knows everyone. And EVERYONE. Is welcome. The first bartender Alex was wonderful. Let us taste different beers and offered a menu. We took our beers to a table, looked over the menu and she was quick to take our order. We ordered the coin o'gold (fried pickles) and the Irish nachos. The cook personally brought out our dishes. Our food was perfectly warm, and was absolutely DELICIOUS. The owner of the bar (sadly cannot remember her name) was behind the counter and waved at us to make sure that we were okay a do freed us a spot at the bar if we wanted. We thanked her and continued to eat. The owner also made a recommendation of the ace pineapple cider with a shot of Guinness. My boyfriend loved it and so did I. Our second bartender Janelle, came over and introduced herself when Alex left for the night. She was very curtious and looked after her customers well. At the end of the night we had a moment to stop and thank the owner for such awesome service. She told us the story of how she took over the business about 6 years ago. At the end of the conversation it was deemed that we will now be regulars because of our experience. I'm giving this 5 stars for amazing service, amazing food, and amazing people that help keep Liam's up and running. read more

I was hooked on this bar when the redheaded server showed me the bruise on her leg. It had been a long time since a pretty woman lifted her skirt for me without any asking. I hung around a while and heard interesting stories about how drunk someone had gotten, all with Irish sounding names. I guess I'll stop being politically correct about whether the Irish like to drink. I returned later and found a middle aged man trying to pick up a 25 year old who was there with her friend on a "girl's night out". He had such a pesky lame technique, I felt sorry for them. He wasn't even buying them drinks. But I did recognize the classic 2 girls out for fun situation, with one instigator and one lure. I couldn't resist, so I waited for him to leave, then bought them drinks for an hour or two, admitting I just wanted to see how drunk they would get. I didn't realize that women tend to leave when they're so drunk they can't figure out how to operate the junk box. The other times I'd gotten women that intoxicated I was the designated driver, so I never learned that lesson. It was quite a fun time, I highly recommend this bar. I don't think guys in their 50s should be trying to take young women home (for their own sake), but at Liam's it seems you can certainly enjoy the unique energy of very pretty young women, without the craziness of a large dance club like Fritz's. For the married, there are as many couples in there as singles, and they have good food too. Next door are several exotic restaurants. read more

The beer sucks like whatever you dont do order anything on tap. Half the time the bartenders will ignore you to flirt and chat with the regulars and oh did I mention the tap beer sucks. The bar was dirty, but the perfect amount of diveyness to make one feel comfortable! The karaoke was a bit loud, but everyone was having fun and joining in singing the typical Journey songs. This was the closest place we could get a drink at after a nearby event on a Thursday night. There was only an elderly couple in the place when my group of ten came in. They quickly left for some reason. So we basically had the place to ourselves. Anyway, the bartender was a friendly woman. She took our drink orders and was relatively quick in making the drinks. However, one of my friends ordered an Old Fashioned. Apparently she never made it before and therefore had to resort to a recipe book. According to my friend, the drink could have been better. Unfortunately I was DD so I didn't have a drop. It takes me awhile to sober up and I didn't know how long we would be staying here. So didn't drink. With that said, it looked like they had a decent selection of beers on hand and made a great jack and coke according to my friends. Interior wise, the lighting is typical of a dive bar. There's pool tables, a fancy jukebox, a stage, and what appeared to be a karaoke machine. We came too late for the food so can't comment on that. Overall the place was ok. read more

They have karaoke on Thursday's, nice local bar to go to, the owner is awesome, the staff are always hospitable, the atmosphere of the place stays live, it's the Cheers of the Inland Empire, where they know you by name. I love Liam's it's my favorite bar hands down. I've been a regular for about 4 years and have never had a complaint. That was until a bartender named Holly joined the staff. She's extremely rude and disrespectful. She has cursed at me, and friends I have brought in for no reason. I've even heard her talking down to random men at the bar. She's acts as if her vanity is an excuse to be rude. She has given me the wrong drink before and told me if I don't like it I can get out because she has the right to refuse service. I bring many friends on a regular basis and without me making any comments they even notice her unprofessionalism. She spilled a drink on my cell phone at the bar and laughed and just said "oh well". She said she was a cocktail waitress before this an she should've stayed one. She has no people skills to say the least and isn't consistent about how she makes drinks. They're either too strong or too weak. Now if I see her in the bar I just walk out because I don't spend my money to be disrespected. If there's no resolution I'll ask the other unhappy patrons to leave their feelings on this issue here on yelp so everyone can be aware. read more

So I had to go to Colton for the first time in my life. On my way back home, I was searching for a place to sit, have good food, and get out of the heat. I stumbled across Liams Pub. It was like an oasis in the desert. I walk in and meet the owner. I am horrible with names so I apologize but can't remember names, but she was kind, welcoming, and sincere. I had a Ruben sandwich that was so heavenly, I would actually drive from my home in Long Beach, back to Colton, just for lunch. Both the owner, and the gal behind the bar, made me feel like I was part of their family. I wish I had a place like this close to home, as it is a throwback bar that reminds me of the days when a customer was valued. Great food, drink and company.
