The restaurant is cute and chic so we were excited to try it! We made reservations through Open Table and were seated immediately upon arrival. I can't remember our server's name but he was very friendly! Unfortunately, the food/drink didn't live up to the atmosphere. I ordered a cocktail and when it got to the table, I saw that it had a small fly in it. They did remake it but it took some time to remake, and while they did not charge me for a second drink, I was surprised they didn't take care of the beverage altogether and no one really apologized or seemed surprised/concerned. However, the fly-less cocktail was pretty good! For food- the best thing we ordered was the seasonal Harvest Brussels Sprouts appetizer. It was SO GOOD. Perfect seasoning, sauces, and perfect crispness. As for our entrees- none of us in our party were blown away, but the food was okay. I had the black & bleu sliders- they were pretty good. My husband had the meatball smash sandwich- it didn't have a lot of meatball on it and fell apart very easily. All in all, the experience was fine but I don't anticipate we will return. read more

We enjoyed pur dinner with friends. Friend polushed off the Dr Pepper Ribs. Portions were generous and food tasted good but places was too loud and lively! Ran out of rolls on a Friday at 6:30. Would recommend tuna tatami, wine selection, and key lime pie. read more

The food is very good and the staff are great. However, I am not sure about how often I will return as their prices are.... well pricey. There are other restaurants in the area that area just as good with more reasonable prices. It would be one thing if the view was of the water, but surprisingly, a Publix and Allstate parking lot, overlooking traffic and an Aldi just doesn't cut it for me. Instead, I would prefer The Lucky Pelican or Good Liquid Brewing as just two alternatives. read more

A nice, airy, bright, indoor dining room , although noisy when we were there for Sunday brunch. A good outdoor space as well. Servers were very good. For the high prices that they're charging, they should include bread and a better balanced meal. The delicious Cesar kale salad has only one ingredient; it really needs to include some chickpeas or cheese or something. The avocado toast was very tasty. Good flavor, including the potatoes. Typically after church our family likes to go and find new places to dine in at. Libby's was very close to our church so it was convenient. Sunday was extremely BUSY. The wait however wasn't too bad considering the long line. We waited 20 minutes and were seated near the bar area. That wouldn't have been my first choice. Keep in mind we have a family of five and want to interact and typically a bar setting is a little louder. Our Waitress didn't want to explain the menu or name the drinks that they serve like tea Pepsis root beer and so forth. I had to keep asking her. She also brought the wrong drinks. Obviously there are different waitresses and they can either make a break a dining experience and for us this is why we didn't care much for this restaurant. The atmosphere is lively, very busy and they get you in and get you out just as fast! We ordered pulled pork sandwiches, French toast, and the brunch burger. The pulled pork was delicious just messy and it wasn't easy to eat as the bread got soft and fell apart. The French toast was just okay, nothing special. The brunch burger has a lot of different things on it but the flavors just didn't come through. Coming in a Sunday was a risk. We probably didn't experience their best but I would be open to give them another shot in the future and I would recommend the pulled pork sandwich! read more

Met a colleague for lunch. It was my first time here. The place has a great feel with both indoor and outdoor dining. The staff was attentive, helpful and knowledgable. They did not rush or intrude on our lunch in any way. My friend had the Caesar salad small with a 5 ounce steak on top, the egg rolls and I had the Wedge with a 5 ounce steak. My salad was fantastic and the steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The server was attentive and refilled our beverages without asking. Even the manager on duty was working the floor and cleared our plates. It was nice to be in and have the feel of a "B.C." (Before Covid) restaurant since overall service in many businesses has gone to well you know...H...E...double toothpicks. I would recommend Libbys in Lakewood Ranch. read more

We are visiting from NJ and had head great things from locals about Libby's! Spot on! Elysia was so sweet and helpful and super fast! She suggested the Brussels sprouts appetizer that was over the moon crazy good in both taste and texture. My hubs got the steak au poivre and I got the shrimp scampi / both were made exactly to order and the servings were quite generous. If we lived here we would absolutely have taken leftovers home to enjoy tomorrow! the cocktails were also top notch / and water was refilled throughout dinner and after a long day of running around was truly appreciated. we highly recommend Libby's and can't wait till we can get back! read more

All I can say is . . . Fantastic ! Went here last night and I was so impressed. The food, the service, the atmosphere were all first rate. I got a drink at the bar and then sat outside while waiting for our table. The bartender was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They seemed to have a nice selection of premium liquors, while the wine and beer selections were decent to good. I had the meatballs as an appetizer and the burger for my main meal. Both were fantastic and the burger was cooked perfectly. If we can get a reservation, I will be going back again tonight with a group of 4 people. I can't wait to try some of the other options. Since I live and work nearby, I suspect that I may become a regular. The menu is not huge but seems to offer something for everyone. Fish, pasta, burgers, salads and much more. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is slightly loud but really active and fun. The decor is bright and modern but with a classic feel. Lot's of wood and quality materials. EXCELLENT all the way around. The food was appetizing, nice & hot ( no cold food unless ordered that way) and VERY IMPORTANT- DELICIOUS. My husband and I started with Avocado Egg Rolls ( very good). Then I had Orange chicken (loved it) and my husband had 1/2 rack of spare ribs ( he said he wished he had ordered a full rack. Dessert was well worth the calories. We both had Key Lime Pie = Superb!
