Stopped to get gas and pressed regular like I usually do and noticed the price was charging me the premium price . After I pumped I printed out a receipt which said premium but I pressed regular . Told the guy at the cashier and he did it was a sensitive pump and that the hose could have hit the premium button , no way because it didn't start pumping until I hit the regular button. I wonder how many other people are being ripped off like I did. Guy at the cashier register was rude and gave such a lame excuse, middle aged Asian guy . Lost my business. Right now the 33 gallons is a painful thought. Yet it is a reality, and this gas station for the area is competitive. Thanks to inflation, shutting down oil pipelines, and a war in Ukraine it is what it is. These folks have been good to me over the years. Have done some minor vehicle maintenance with them, and am pleased with honesty and pricing. There's a small convenience store inside. It can be challenging getting in and out of here. Lots of people take their vehicles for repair here, and the size of the property isn't huge. Plus as usual non drivers in smaller cars, can't seem to understand, pulling up and or next to the pumps. It's not rocket science. Do be careful merging onto Fairfax Boulevard, as it's real close to the infamous circle. If in the area, this one is a smart bet. read more

Very good service, and great prices for auto work. There are some garages that are fancier, and it can be a little brusque when dropping the car off, but everyone is still very friendly-- just busy! Personally I prefer a quick drop-off, get a quick callcall, and then come in when the work is done. No frills, but often 20% below other estimates. read more

I've been taking my vehicles here for awhile and they have always fixed the issues on my vehicle, if they didn't then they usually waived the labor to fix it again. They are open 7 days a week which is unusual where I'm from and they almost always have my vehicle done before they said it would be. Most of the guys there are bilingual and I think English isn't their primary language. That being said, I think the tone/volume can be misinterpreted at times. Even if I felt as though they were being maybe a little rude I just assumed it was because of that. They don't have to be nice if they fix my car for cheap. Over all I'd say they are generally cheaper than other places but I also source my own parts since most mechanics have to get their parts from the dealer and the dealer marks up the OEM part. read more

Brought my Honda Odyssey to get checked out due to unusual noise / vibration I was experiencing. After driving the car for 10 years I was 100% confident there was something wrong with the car and I did not feel safe driving it. After having it for a full day, Liberty Auto Service told me there was NOTHING wrong with it and told me they were giving me a discounted charge of $90 (from $140). I was still confident that there was something wrong, so took it to a Honda Dealership where they found and fixed a broken wheel bearing and the issues I was hearing/feeling were completely gone. When my husband's car's service light came on a few days later, we dropped it off at Liberty to get checked (Assuming they would admit their mistake and credit the charge toward any work on my husband's car). We dropped the car in the evening and told the attendant not to do any work on it until we talked to the Service Manager about the Honda situation and ask for a credit toward the work on my husband's car. Instead of calling , they checked out the other car and said nothing was wrong with it and tried to charge us another diagnostic fee. He told us that the dealership ripped us off, there was nothing wrong with the Honda (he had many great mechanics check it out) and was not going to give any refunds or credit. We've been taking our cars here for some time now, and before that, to Yoon's MB Motors. Mr. Yoon is now with Fairfax Circle Liberty. I recently took my car in for a repair, and Liberty advised me to take it back to the dealer as it was probably a recall issue that the dealer would cover. I did that, and they were right - it was fixed free of charge by the dealer! I'm so very grateful to Fairfax Circle Liberty for their outstanding integrity, and they've done an excellent job on our car repairs in the past. Highly recommended! read more

I stopped by this station for the first time to get a safety inspection. The only place to park was in front of the door to the store. The young South Asian cashier told me it would be about an hour before I could get the inspection done, but when I didn't look enthused, he said OK, less than an hour. This left me unsure of what was going on; I appreciated the effort to accommodate me but I didn't want to cut in front of someone else just to speed things up. He also looked at my chest a lot. I got into my car to look for some documentation and while I was leaning over to the passenger side, the mechanic opened the door on my side, without knocking. I grabbed it and shut it again. With this lack of respect for my privacy, together with the chest-gazing from the cashier, I changed my mind and decided to go somewhere else. Almost every other station or repair shop I've been to, I've been treated as an equal, and I didn't want to risk more of this kind of thing. read more

I have only been to this gas station to purchase gas. They do have an auto shop with several garages. They always seem to be working on cars, so they must have some reputation. They do certified emissions and state inspection here. It is very convenient to stop to fill up in Fairfax Circle as it is a right turn from Fairfax City. read more

I just came here to ask for pricing on a simple oil change and the guy gave me the biggest attitude ever at the counter. He gave me the price and I mentioned to him I had it done for less another time. He said go ask the guy at the shop raising his voice rudely. The guy at the shop was nicer, but Said it would take an hour or more so I left pissed and went the shell right next to it for my oil change... same price, faster, kinder and trustworthy service. my dad sends them my car because apparently the guys from our country and "trust worthy". he does not bother fixing the car for days at a time. we went to go pick up my car after a week and half, keep in mind it just needed headlight repair and spark plugs. after all the time of asking him if its ready we went and guess what. the car started! THEN DIED WITHIN 1 minute. then would not turn on. im lucky i didnt pull out and leave and have it die in the middle of the road. they said it was working fine a few hours ago. half ass job. id rather pay the extra $200-$300 at a certified Mechanic and have it properly fixed. but since they are middle eastern, my dad keeps dragging our cars there. smh. read more

I have had minor scratches and dents, paint scratchoffs, tire issues, etc taken care at this place. They are very good, and don't rip off the customers like other body shops do! Great shop with good prices and trustworthy, honest staff. I see some notes on here about attitude etc but have not experienced that. They are regular guys, with Pakistani roots, so there maybe some slight language/culture issues in their customer service that account for some people's perceptions of "attitude," but they are honest and don't rip you off. And they definitely don't give you that phoney "Is there anything else I can help you with today sir?" crap that the bigger chains do, which I for one appreciate. I had an Audi A4 that I had bought used for my sons and had chosen this shop to help fix up the car and maintain it based on recommendations of another mechanic. I had this shop replace the timing belt in 2014, along with equipment that can then be easily be replaced at the same time. They did it well for a reasonable price ($1400). Recently (May, 2015) I needed a new clutch. I had them replace the clutch and, as before, easy repairs because of the clutch replacement. This included two heater hoses and a few other odds and ends. ($2000). Fine. My sons picked up the car. The next day the car overheats (remember the heater hoses above?) and loses compression in three cylinders. Reason for the loss of compression - timing chain broke. The shop insists that the overheating and timing chain break are unrelated. WHAT A COINCIDENCE! The best I could do is get $1300 back from them and junk the car. I understand mistakes happen. But own up to them or take responsibility for the "coincidence" and write it off as part of doing business and maintaining a loyal customer base. They have lost me. Will you trust them with your car for more than an oil change? read more

I was traveling with a carload of people from DC back to Ohio on a Sunday afternoon when my car started making noises that sounded like bad brakes. With a 6 hour rainy drive ahead of me I pulled over and started calling around. I am beyond grateful that the folks at Liberty answered, had mechanics working on a Sunday, and were willing to look at my car. They knew full well I had next to no options yet they only repaired what was needed (front brake pads & rotors), charged a fair price, and prioritized my repair to get me back on the road in a couple hours. Without the Liberty mechanics my group would have been stranded overnight, or in serious danger attempting to drive home. Highly recommend this place for your repairs! read more

I used my card to put $10 of gas in my car...suddenly my card doesnt work afterwoard- I go home and check the balance and this station charged the full $50 that was on my card. I called the card issuer and they explained that the station is holding the full amount of the card "until they process their credit transactions" and I will not have access to my money until they do so. Its been 24 hours. I have used this card to get gas everywhere and this is the first time this has ever happened to me. This money was supposed to be for food for 2 days...and now I have to ask friends for a loan. read more

I would like to give these thieves (AKA mechanics) zero stars if I could. I took my car to get it diagnosed, waited two hours. This guy ricky looks at it and doesn't know what is the problem. He guessed it might be one of two things. It could cost $1000 but he needs a half a day to take the car apart?! He tells me he needs to order a part from the dealer and I have to bring the car in another day in the middle of the week and leave it over night. I couldn't leave the car because I had to work. So I told him I will bring the car back towards the end of the week so he can fix it over the weekend. So it is 9pm the shop has closed now and ricky and I agree that I have to bring the car back. I am leave, I get my keys back and next thing i know, they tell me it is going to be $65.!! What is 65 dollars for??? HE DID NOT EVEN DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM WITH THE CAR!! I am never ever going back. Consider yourself warned. I went and showed the car to the dealer, they diagnosed the problem with in 20 minutes and told me it would cost $400 and guess what? within 3 hours the dealer fixed the car! I came to Liberty auto service to avoid the high fees of the dealer. But I ended up paying less at the dealer. I didn't go back to get the $65 refunded because I never want to see them again. read more
